General :: Any Way To Share / Sync Save Games App Data

Is there a better way then using titanium backup and manually doing this? Seems like a crazy tedious thing to do. I jump back and fourth between the two devices even on an hourly basis. one is my phone and the other is a tab.

I was wondering if there was an easy way to kind Of"sync"or transfer gave data for various games between two device. I am more interested in resuming my save data of Hungry Sharks Evolution that I already have On my Note II onto my Note 10.1, but transferring for Games like 4 pics word or Angry Birds would be nice as well.

Not possible with Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4. The only way is to use Titanium Backup, and better than that, Nandroid Backup. You can as well extract data from a Nandroid backup with Titanium Backup.
I have a Nexus S and I wonder if, with the option Settings -> Accounts and sync -> Background data & Auto-sync & Manage accounts (sync is on) the settings and savegames are automatically stored "on the cloud", let it be my Google account or similar, because I don't have a rooted phone and don't want to do that to preserve warranty.
So, the apps for wich I want to save data are:
Air Penguin
Angry Birds
Angry Birds Rio
Angry Birds Seasons
ArmySniper
Clouds & Sheep
Dolphin Browser HD
eBay
EGGGZ
Flight Director
Jewellust
Jewellust Xmas
Labyrinth
MultiGrain
X Construct

It would be nice if StackOverflow had a section where we could post tutorials like mine so that I can answer literally hundreds of questions that have been asked here with a single blow. See... every day I read questions about how to pass complex objects between activities, how to save state so that your app can resume after orientation change, how to update listviews when the data changes, etc, etc. Here is the second part of a tutorial series I posted on my blog... I hope that you actually read it... because I haven't seen any examples like it anywhere... and it has changed how I think about developing for Android across the board. The question is... is there a downside or negative affect of developing like this?
Beyond Smart Lists - How Observable Singletons change the game. Please read through both of these tutorials carefully... I will answer any questions about it here that I can... I really want to know what you think about this and if it might solve issues for you. NOTE TO MODERATORS: there are no advertisements of any kind on my blog.. so don't just close this because you think I am spamming somehow... I am not going to duplicate my post here.

I have a Motorola Moto G 8GB which is running very low on storage (only about 800mb left). This phone does not take Micro SD cards but it comes with 50GB Google Drive storage. However i haven't used this at all. I am wondering whether i could download android apps and games to google drive, dropbox etc. Games like Real Racing take up about 1GB so i cannot download it to my phone. Can i download it to the Cloud? If this is not possible, is there any way that i could save the app data on the cloud. E.g. The Simpsons: Tapped Out is about 37mb to download off the play store, but then you must download the updates etc which are about another 250mb. is there anyway to save this 250mb on the cloud. Or any other games data.

I'm looking for a solution to connect one android phone to another over bluetooth to share voice and maybe data service. What I want to do is use my old Dell Streak as a GPS/media player in my car without having service to it. I would like it to connect to my current phone so I can make call through it, like a headunit with hands free bluetooth calling. I'm not so much worried about data, though it would be a plus but I don't think Android supports connecting to ad-hoc networks. I can't seem to find any app that supports this, and I'm not seeing anywhere on the Android system where this is possible. I haven't owned a car stereo that supports bluetooth calling so I'm not sure what to look for.

Password manager that can sync between multiple devices? The only one I found was Keeper but it's $10 for each install which would run me 20-30 bucks for 2-3 devices. My wife and I need to be able to access password/logins and share the data.

Trying to make Tasker automatically open and populate Astrid todo's task edit fields the way that so many other apps can using the Share menu. With pretty much any app being able to do this using Share, I figured it wouldn't be too hard to make Tasker do the same, but I'm having trouble finding out how.
I'm using the beta of Tasker so Send Intent replaces the previous two intent actions. The fields available are Action, Category, Mime Type, Extra, Package, Class, and Target. Right now Package is set to com.timsu.astrid and Class to com.todoroo.astrid.activity.TaskEditActivity, which manages to open the task edit screen. That intent is however from the Astrid widget so I don't know if that's even the right thing to use if doing this via the Share ability.

In my emulator "Fpse for Android". I would like to chage the place where games are saved, by default they are saved in internal memory ".fpse/memcards" in 2 files named "slot1.mcd" "slot2.mcd"
In my "Fpse for Android" i went in "setting>misc" i change the save states to a "saved games" folder that i created in my external sd card, play crash bandiccot 1 USA, PS1, WITH USA Bios, I saved game, by file manager i went inside "saved games" folder, it is hempty, game is still saved in default position above mentioned.
What i have to do in order to change the saved games positions, i would like to save them in my external sd card.
Manually t is possible to move the 2 mentioned files, ther save states: "slot1.mcd" "slot2.mcd" to another position? Let say as example my "saved games" folder inside my external sd card?

I'm trying to backup Angry Birds settings and hi-scores using Android Debugging Bridge. The command:
Code:
adb pull /data/data/com.rovio.angrybirds/files/highscores.lua C:ab_highscores.lua
works perfectly for Angry Birds original. It is also pretty obvious how to get savegames from Rio and Seasons. Now, what is the path for Space? The most obvious one, "angrybirdsspace" is giving me error "Remote object not found". Alternatively, how can I list content of /data/data folder? I think it's not possible with ADB.

What exactly does joining contacts do?I have joined all my duplicates and contacts from different lists together so there's only one entry per person. If I go on them, they're all listed under my Google Account under my email address. however some of them I merged on my phone aren't merged on gmail contacts.
And I see all the names now of my list, but the numbers aren't saved.. just their name, sometimes their email address..I'm currently on an old T-Mobile G2 but getting N4 soon..

I have an LG Spectrum 2 and I can't figure out if/how I can get my calendar from my old phone onto my new (same model) phone. I have tried syncing it, but I don't know where it's syncing it to. I don't know if it can be synced/saved to my SD card? I tried syncing it to my gmail calendar, but it only shows the events that are saved as yearly occurrences. (And somehow it's showing saved yearly events from my work Outlook calendar?)
I did see suggestions for clearing the cache and data in the Calendar Settings, but since I don't have the calendar backed up, I don't want to risk loosing my information.

I have an LG Optimus Showtime (android vers 4.0.4). Im wondering if there is a way to disable data use by a single app? I uninstalled Flickr app because it used up so much data. I would like to re install it again but only if there is a way to disable data when Im not using it. The only thing I see is to go into system settings, data usage, and then either go to a specific app and Restrict background data or Turn Off mobile data. The past few weeks I have been turning off mobile data when not using. I have went into some of my apps settings and unchecked notifications, etc., but that doesnt seem to really save data.

Just have a quick question regarding the data on my phone. I am selling my phone tomorrow and I have a LOT of data on it which I need to transfer.
These are the things I wish to transfer-
-Contacts
-Old Messages and draft messages
-WiFi passwords
-Apps(lol obviously)
-App data
-Call logs
-Any other important things which I may have missed out.
I'm going to transfer my songs and videos manually via connecting my USB cable to the computer, I just don't want to mess up the other bits.
How do I transfer this to this to my computer so i can transfer it to my next phone? How do I transfer it to my next phone?
Additional info- My current phone is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V (rooted) running ICS 4.0.4.
My next phone is most probably the Samsung Galaxy S3(International Version) I have Titanium Backu(free Version).

Currently, I have a Thunderbolt, but I'm planning on buying a Galaxy Nexus whenever that becomes available. Thing is, I have a few games I'm playing, and while I know I can simply redownload the games from the market on my new phone, is there any way I can also transfer the save data? I don't want to have to start all the way at the beginning, with games like Angry Birds, Cut The Rope, Symphony of Eternity, etc.
For what it's worth, my phone is not rooted.

saving data usage on android. To those who use data plan on sim cards, there are plenty of apps that can monitor and reduce their data usage. ie: Onavo Extend, Opera Mobile/Mini.
But im using MiFi/portable hotspot to access the internet. Apps like Onavo seems working only in 3g mode, and not wifi.
So i cant ge maximum data savings on my MiFi plan.
Is there any apps, that can tweak android so that when i connected to my hotspot, it is detected as 3g. Basically something like that.

I'm trying to limit my mobile data usage with out jumping through hoops.
I'm looking for a widget, that with one click of a button, it can restrict background data, disable auto-sync and enable mobile data, and when pressed again, enable WiFi, disable background restriction and enable auto-sync.
This function, no matter how trivial, would save time and effort.
Is there anything like this out there? Would something like this require root?
Galaxy Nexus

Brand new here. Just got Eris for wife. So far we both like it a lot. Is there currently a way to sync up the sdcard with a smb share over the wifi? I've got openfiler running a samba share and all my windows and linux boxes can connect, but it would be perfect if the phone could sync up. Seems like there would be something in the marketplace, but I could not find anything for free. Also, once the Android 2 update happens, will their be more applications available in the marketplace?

I have a Galaxy S4 (rooted) and just bought a Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 (Afraid to root because I don't want to loose warranty)
I restored all my apps on my tablet but all my Angry Birds, Plants vs Zombies and all other game data is missing from the tablet.
First, is there a way to restore this game data to the tablet WITHOUT root?
Preferably, I would like to seamlessly sync the game data between the 2 devices. It would be great to play a level of any game on my phone and then pick up at the same spot on my tablet. Is this possible?

I want to share data between 2 applications. the idea is both applications can write and read the SAME data and there is no dependency which one of the apps is installed or first created the data. I have 2 version of the same app: regular and premium and I don't know which of them will be first installed and both of them can change it.I tried to use ContentProvider but the problem is that only the first app can create the Provider and when it is uninstalled it deletes that custom Provider. I want the Content to be kept for the second app. Also, I tried to use Settings.System which keeps the data regardless if the application is installed or not but I don't want to use the permission for that (it is very problematic from user perspective). BTW, it seems that I can change ANY of the Settings.System which is not secured from Android OS perspective - but this is a subject for other post.
