Thing is in order to do this I have to do a factory reset, and I know of at least one app I really love that is no longer in the market due to copyright infringement. is there any way that I can back this up so that I don't lose it?

This is probably a moot point due to the impending official 2.1, but I noticed those missing market apps are now available in the market. I'm using v3 by the way.
View 6 Replies View RelatedDon't know what happened but the my downloads section looks like it does after a factory reset, with all the free downloads not listed, the difference though is that if I search for them in the market, they all still show as installed. anyone have any ideas?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI finally was able to unlock my Cliq from the T-mobile network to the At&t network, and I can now make calls and text, but all of the sudden I can no longer access the market for apps. It keeps telling me that my password is invalid (which I am 100% sure it is not). Also, every few minutes, I am recieving a text that says "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. 0605040710000041637469766174653A64743D36", but I haven't even sent any text messages.. It started doing that right after I sucessfully unlocked the phone.

I set up the main account with a gmail account I made for my kids because the device is mainly used by them. I added my own google account so it can be used with the play store to redownload all the apps I have purchased for them. I have set the play store to use my google account.
But all the apps I have previously paid for have their price listed beside them in the store, rather than saying "purchased". If I try to buy them again it gives me message saying there was an error with the transaction.I have set up a device with 2 accounts like this before and it worked ok.
I have owned my x10 pro for a month or so and have downloaded various apps from the android marketplace but recently apps start to download but then I get a "download failed" message, I have tried numerous times and changed settings etc but still no joy. I think this has happened since the option to buy apps appeared on the android market, I have seen other forums with users reporting similar problems whats up? and when will the problem be fixed?

I want to change ROMS without having to make a list of my current apps and reinstall each one. But I still want the ability to restore and get updates for all the apps I have.
And one other question, when I backup my apps, and then do a nandroid restore I assume Titanium backup will need to be reinstalled. Once I do this will I still be able to restore the apps from the SD card?
I'm looking to flash again... right after I loaded all of the market applications that I love onto the phone.
I apologize if this is a trivial question; I'm not yet all that familiar w/ the program management on the android. But what I would like to be able to do is create a directory (be it on the sdcard, my laptop, etc) and store the install files for all of the apps that I install on this phone after every flash. This would save a tremendous amount of time bringing the phone back up to usable status after a flash. And the cat's meow would be if the configurations for these apps could be backup locally as well. Similar to a ~/.name_of_application/ directory on a linux box.
I'm poking around the file system right now, and not finding anything obvious. Would these be the files out of /system/bin?
What's the best way to implement an Android Market-like tabbar (Apps/Games/Downloads)?
It would be great if I could use TabHost, but I believe it doesn't allow this level of customization.
Whenever Titanium Backup runs one of the scheduled backups, the screen no longer times out. It will dim, but never go off. This isn't just while the operation is running, either. For instance, I had a scheduled operation this morning at 4 a.m. At 7 a.m., the operation was completed, but the screen was still on (albeit dimmed). The only way the screen time out starts working again is if I kill Titanium via System Panel. Is this normal?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen i click on batch, then run to backup my apps it jumps back to the Backup/Restore screen with all the apps, nothing gets backed up. I have backed up before with Titanium and it worked. I reinstalled Busybox, didn't help. If i uninstall and reinstall will i lose all the things i did like freeze apps etc ? When i try to update through the marketplace it says installation error, package file was not signed correctly.

I just got a new g1 today and was reinstalling my apps. I noticed the video recorder app is no longer on the market. I was able to find the voice client (sound for the video) but not the actual video recorder. Does anyone know why it was pulled by google or does anyone know the dev's site/or have it where I can just download it?

Like there are HUGE games on the iphone like my friend has Sims on his iphone now if you ever played that game you know its a big game. Also why do so many companies make apps for iphone only like there is a call of duty nazi zombie game on the iphone. how would I go about 'disconnecting' the app from the Market? Deleting the market link as if it were side-loaded?

I try to 'test notification' but the LED does not flash regardless of the color I choose. This is extremely annoying as I don't know when I have a text anymore unless I hear my phone. View 5 Replies View RelatedI installed MR2 a few days ago rather than waiting on the OTA update. Now I can't download a couple paid apps from the Market that I had previously paid for. WeatherBug Elite is one of them, it doesn't even show up when I do a search in the Market.
Some searching turned up a similar issue on other HTC devices on another carrier, something about an OS foot print? Is there a way to get around this? It's pretty obnoxious.
