View 2 RepliesI have gotten both the Flash Player and Flash Lite APK's, and I have been trying to install them on the Droid. Flash Player refuses to install on stock 2.1. Flash Lite installs, but after install I can not connect to the internet (Nothing connects, Skype, market, random app, browser.)
So I wanted to know if anyone wanted to do some testing with them, to see if you can get them running on the ROM you are running. Maybe we will be able to make fun of iDevices earlier, because Droid Does what iDont
Flash Lite: FlashLitePlugin.apk
Flash Player: FlashPlayer.apk

1] I presume Flash Lite is shipped & working with the Legend...?
2] Any news on 'full fat' Flash 10.1 support? Adobe seem [?] to suggest a snapdragon processor is required, is this still the case?
Will we ever see Flash 10.1 on the Legend?
Same base device model, but I am not seeing any mention of Flash in the browser section of the manual. Is this a case where Europe gets a good feature with Desire, but the US will not with Incredible? If so, I would suggest to rename the device Lamedible Android version of Flash 10.1 is still about five months away. Also curious if the opti pad can be used for game control for emulators and then the touch screen could be used for buttons. Just wondering. Need to decide between this and Droid. Droid can be overclocked very stable at 800mhz. Apparently the Incredible is clocked down to 768mhz.

This is happening on websites where I had Flash yesterday.
How to ROOT ''Q Mobile Bolt A2 Lite''??? I want to Increase My Internal Memory....
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I installed the update.zip without taking any steps to retain root, so of course now that 2.2 is installed I no longer have root. I did a cache wipe and data wipe, then setup RSD Lite to flash the 2.1 SBF onto my phone so I can follow the procedures to keep root while upgraded to 2.2.When I click start on RSD Lite, I am getting a failed flash process error.Does anybody have any suggestions for me? Also, the device properties are showing a lot of N/A in the place of version numbers, IMEI/ESN/MEID, etc.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI've got an HTC incredible that I'm developing on, and I understand that most all of the HTC manufactured devices since the HTC Hero have had Flash Lite.
The problem that I'm encountering is that the WebView doesn't have Flash Lite enabled, even when I'm testing on my Incredible device.
I've read up on how WebView has NPAPI & plugin support, so I'm wondering how I can reference the HTC Flash Lite plugin so that Flash can load in my app.
I understand that the Flash wouldn't work on devices without this plugin, but that is OK in my particular usecase.
How can I load up the HTC Flash Lite plugin in my app? I assume it would be loaded with the "setPluginsPath" void, but I'm not sure whatt the path to the plugin would be.
appView.getSettings().setPluginsEnabled(true); appView.getSettings().setPluginsPath("?");
I read several article. they said always emulator doesn't support flash, flash lite on the emulator. so i just want to make sure it is true or not. i must report to my boss. Anyway, if flash is not support, what kinds of devices are supporting flash currently?

Admittedly, i don't really have a rooting need at the moment, but I am sure there are plenty of other eager people out there who might be able to try this....

View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to connect to connect to my T-Mobile G1 to test a simple android app I an creating. I cannot get it to show up in the list of connected android devices. Here are the details: - 32-bit Windows XP - I have enabled USB Debugging on my device - I am not prompted with the New Hardware Wizard when I plug my device in, it is merely seen as a new removable drive. It does not appear under any other categories in Device Manager, nor is there a new "Unknown Device" entry anywhere to be found - I have tried "Update Driver" and select the driver that Google provides for their official developer devices, but it says "this driver does not match your device" or something to that effect. Probably because it is expected a device type other than "Disk Drive" - I have tried uninstalling the device under "Disk Drives" and plugging it in again but it always gets reinstalled automatically as a "Disk Drive" - I have tried uninstalling the device, manually installing the Google driver from the INF file and plugging in the device and it is still only recognized as a "Disk Drive" - Most importantly, I get a blank device list when I run "adb devices" from the Android SDK tools directory before and after each step I tried After hours of scouring the web I get the distinct impression that a new device category should be popping up in Device Manager if the driver is installed correctly, but I have not been able to get the device to come up as anything other than a new "Disk Drive"
View 3 Replies View RelatedIve noticed that some people like myself are not happy with video quality on the htc incredible. I've also noticed that some people are having no problems with their video quality. Compared to the moto droid its video difference is the difference between choppy pixilated standard def and hd video. I realize neither phone displays hd but just using that to help compare what im seeing in comparison. Youtube videos are better if you hit menu and select high quality...but even then the moto droids video is still much better. So question.. since some people seem to be experiencing poor vid quality and others are not... this kind of sounds software related, is it possible to reinstall phone software or even just the flash lite software? Thinking this potentially could help.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI don't see the logic behind this. The more people who watch hulu means more people who are looking at ads. And the more people who look at ads, the more money hulu makes. The only logic I could see behind this is that a Hulu Plus app is coming to the Android market, but I haven't heard anything about that. What's your take on this?

I am planning to develop for WP7 and Android. What is the better way to display (and traverse) 3D scene/models in term of LoD? The data is planned to be island-wide (Singapore).
1) Real-Time Dynamic Level of Detail Terrain Rendering
2) Discrete LoD
3) Others?
And please advice some considerations/algorithms/resources/source codes. something like LoD book also Okay. Side note: I am a beginner in this area but pretty well-versed in C/C++. And I haven't read the LoD book.

View 2 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if Flash will be able to run independent from the browser? I mean native apps in Flash, not just the player in a browser. The Symbian OS can do that, however I have yet to find an article which explicitly states what will become available in the case of the iPhone and the Android platform. I am not asking about dates, as those are the most fluctuation prone variables. I am part of a web/mobile apps development company which is eager to use flash to make applications even richer in content and user experience.
