However after watching THIS. http://www.go2album.com/showAlbum/387996. i really think i wanna change the whole style of the phone - the question is, how do i do this. can it be done from a one click app root or do i need to do it "properly" Even if its just getting rid of the CRAP blue UI i will be happy as i ONLY use EMAIL and SETTINGS menu from the stock sony UI.

Dec 15, 2012How can I change the system default light blue color? I'd like to make it some sort of green. I'm talking about the light blue in such icons in the attached screen shots as the battery icon, the keyboard words, and the bottom bar when pulling down the notification tray. I assume it's just one setting somewhere because it's all the same blue. I am using Nova Launcher and would prefer not to root but might if necessary. Feb 2, 2012Currently theming and I wanted to change the colors of certain title bars, but cannot find the XML files associated with the color codes. I have looked in the droid developer website and XDA and haven't found the needed info. I also attached images so persons who may know can answer; some stuff I just wanted confirmed. I would like to change some settings title bar colors and some texts. The arrows point out what I need to change, and the fonts of what I want to change are underlined. This is for the droid charge, just so people know.
I have seen people put images in the title bar in settings so how to do this or has a link to anything about what i mentioned.

Now Android's textAppearanceLarge internally uses the textPrimaryColor - which is still unchanged by my theme.I tried to override the primary text color in my theme, but that doesn't seem to work.

Sep 23, 2009I use Java API "System.setProperty()" to set a system property. After invoke "System.setProperty()", API "System.getProperty()" can return the value just I set. However, when I use command "adb shell getprop" to verify, it shows that this property is not set at all. Do I wrongly understand API "System.setProperty()" ?

The moment after I launch my app, a plain white background appears for a second (because I have set light theme in the manifest). After that, the complete layout of my Activity is displayed - it is either with white or black background, according to user's theme preference.
Is there any way I can change whether white or black background appears after launch?
