Now I want to hand in null as a value for the where statemant so that it will just be ignored later on in the code. Anyway in the testcase for this method I have: Vector<Category> categories = Category.getAll(context, null);
Which then in turn gives me a NoSuchMethodError. I don't know exactly why it does that. The only thing I could imagine is that the null I hand in would not match the signature of the above method. But how can I overcome this? I already thought of overloading. But this would just end in rewriting most of the code. At least when I do it, how I think.

Could someone give me an idea about how to exclude using maven, some resources. I have a lot of languages in my project and I want to make build only for 3 languages for example. I have create the pom file and when I make the apk, all resources are copy by default(resources:resources,"Copying 122 resources"). Can I make in any way to create the apk only with the language resources that I want?

I am having trouble getting my activity to generate a MotionEvent.ACTION_UP. Probably a beginner's error.
In LogCat, I'm only seeing the ACTION_MOVE event (which is an int value of 3). I also see the X/Y coordinates. No ACTION_DOWN and no ACTION_UP.

I am able to parse XML using SAX Parser and able to display the points in text view.
But now I want the points to be displayed on the map.The XML Contains tags for latitude and longitude.
I want to read the latitiudes and longitudes and display them on map .

One great example of what I am thinking of doing is what Google Android sdk does: they have an R class generated automatically from the resources. Every time a resource file is saved in Eclipse R class is automatically regenerated.
UPDATE: Example:
In the text (xml or json file) I have the following:

Then in my generated java class, say R I would have something like:
