I believe MLB at bat 2010 has video highlights (very few if there are), but that costs $15. Are there any android apps that have similar features (maybe some audio)? And is there a way I can get MLB at Bat in Canada?

I currently have SportsTap. I like it so far but I do which their wasn't a limit of 7 teams to follow. Is their any other good Sports Apps with news and scores? Does ESPN or CBS Sports have an android app out yet?
I'm also looking for a good workout app. Something that can be like a personal trainer to me in setting up workout routines and tracks my progress.
I have noticed sports apps are lacking. ESPN, SI and Fox Sports all have apps but none of them are available on Android. I also saw a new one advertised tonight during the Lakers game called SportsNow, I checked their website and it is only for iphone. I do have Live scores installed and it is pretty good but I want more choices.

The most important one is a podcast app where I can subscribe to an RSS feed and have it automatically download the last 10 or so podcasts that get released each day (or at least have this as a configurable option). I listen to a sports radio station every morning and I have been downloading the podcasts with iTunes for the time being and putting them on to my iPod but there has to be an app for Android that can download podcasts, right? I've got BeyondPod right now and it seems a bit clunky. I've heard good things about PodCatcher but since its a paid app, I haven't taken the dive yet. Would prefer a free one obviously but if paid is the only way to go, I'll drop the $5-$10 or whatever it is for PodCatcher. Any recommendations?Also, where are the apps for viewing sports scores. Does ESPN not have an app? They've got an iPhone app. They better jump on the Android bandwagon because we ain't going anywhere. Does anyone recommend an app for quick views of sports scores and even better, stream sports highlights. Basically, an all around sports app would be sweet!

I also tried to watch highlights from a previous match and highlights from Rockness music festival but still no joy? Adobe does not support this was the warning i got but i thought the Desire supported this with its Adobe flash player? My Hero is SO close to what I like now, only need one more change to make it perfect. I'd like to figure out how to change all of the green highlighting to blue on the Hero. (Like on the ZenRom) Things like: when you press a button (say the call button, as an example) or icon or widget, and things like the progress bar in the browser... also things like the unread mail indicator, and the rating stars in the market...etc. Kelmar and I have been reading on XDA, and have tried many things, and we are getting nowhere. Everything seems to lead to a very long tedious process. It would seem to us that some of this might be able to be easily changed in one file, to make the change throughout the rom, but we could be wrong. We wonder if anyone here could help out with how to do this.

Every time I try to login I get this error: "Skype couldn't connect over your phone connection" I can use the same login/password on Skype on my computer and it works fine. Maybe I'm entering my phone number incorrectly? Has anyone on the Rogers network been able to get Skype to work?

I open the slide out keyboard and start typing an email, some letters (like C) does not type so I try a few times clicking the key and it types. then when I hit A the entire text is highlighted and the next character that I type replaces the highlighted text. You can imagine how annoying this can be. I thought I must have done something wrong and examined that the fn key was not pressed (cycled through it by pressing fn 3 times). No luck. I tried the same thing in 5 min and it all worked fine. I am baffled.

I have the HTC Magic phone from Rogers (Canada) and I just recently unlock the phone. I�m planning to go on a trip in Europe where I can buy one of those Prepaid SIM card for GSM and use it with my HTC Magic phone. Since my phone is unlocked it should work. However, I understand the phone might operate on different frequencies on Nord America vs. Europe; the big question is, can the phone support the European frequencies? I was wondering if anybody had successfully used their HTC Magic in Europe.

I'd like to leave the phone on for voice calls and wifi (I've researched and understand the per-min rates), but I want to guarantee that not 1 byte of data will transfer and incur me some obscene surcharge.
Here's my plan:
- Turn off "data roaming"
- Uncheck "background data"
- Uncheck "auto-sync"
- Using QuickSettings, toggle "APN control" (seems to do the same thing as the APNDroid and Toggle Data apps)
Have I covered all my bases?
I use rooted 4.3 Samsung S4. Some apps like MX player can play video when the screen is off. I want to play games of other video apps when the screen is off. For example:
1. I use Android to watch some CNN and bloomberg TV (not radio) that I want to play in the background with the screen off
2. I am playing some games which require the apps to be opened and the screen on to get some special stuff.
I'm heading up North with my new X and want to reduce the VZW data roaming charges in Canada as much as possible, but without losing or reducing my Exchange email service.
I will:
cut back on unnecessary browsing.
stop downloading videos!
turn off background data.
turn off HTML for emails.
use Wi-Fi when possible.
turn off GPS.
Is this the right approach? Any suggestions on other uses or apps to avoid?

I just got a Motorola Droid, used to have a blackberry. I work retail and am in my store for 2 hours before i open in the morning. I used I Heart Radio to listen to Fox Sports, Steve Czaben and then some of Dan PAtrick show.Since I Heart Radio isn't on Droid yet, at least i cant find it and Ive looked and tried every radio app and cannot find one that has Fox at all.
