Even though it has been removed from the market and DID stop working, I didn't remove music junk. Yesterday I randomly opened it up and bam the search worked, I did a song preview it worked as did the download. If you loved the app and for some reason didn't uninstall it. It now seems to be working.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI currently have an iPhone 4S and I am probably going to get a Galaxy Note 2 when it comes out for Verizon. In order to prepare for this, I set up Google Play Music to upload my music so it can be ready for me when I get my new phone (I like it better than Samsung's default music player). Only one problem: protected AAC files (or DRM) can't be transferred to Play Music. I tried converting my music with 2 different DRM converters, but they were free trials, and it only would convert 1:00 of each song and then stop. Is there any free way to convert each protected song completely, along with protected videos? Also, does music on Play Music eat up an Android device's space? I have over 12 GB of music and movies and I don't want to have barely any any space left on a 16 GB device if a 32 or 64 GB ever comes out, minus the SD card.

Browsing Google Groups, a small number of people are apparently in my case, and none of us ever found a way to un-sync "old devices" from our accounts.
On my galaxy s I have an external sd card which i put a bunch of songs on in a folder called music. When I open up the music player I see my songs but also sound files from various sound boards I have installed, as well as ring tones I have downloaded. How do I fix this so its just music?

When I try to uninstall them the Uninstall is grayed-out. I'm just trying to cut down on the visual clutter of wading through zillions of apps that I don't care about. Short of rooting this phone (which voids the warranty. I'm told) is there any way to get rid of this junk? It's not like these are apps integral to being a smartphone - email, browser, etc.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI took off the battery cover today when my phone wouldn't turn off. It was in shutdown mode for about 25 minutes, so I just pulled the battery. This is the first time I've taken the cover off. I've spent over 45 minutes trying to get the cover back on correctly. What a piece of trash! All the connectors are still there, but when I put the cover on, it not longer has a "smooth" feel, but its clunky since the top left side (near the volume key), as well as the top right side straight across. No matter what I do, those parts of the cover will NOT stay down. I've tried connecting the cover every different way, as well as pressing down on each connector after its on to see if I can find a lose spot. No luck. 45 damn minutes and I'm about to throw it across the room. Seriously, I love this phone but if something this stupid is going to happen, I may as well switch phones because this is the most frustrated I've ever been with a cell phone.

I have added both the sender and the senders domain to the list using Windows Live Mail Beta. These emails are still getting through to my Droid X. First, there are no option on the phone to block emails is there? And secondly, there is not an option to add emails to any junk folder on the phone either that I have found. Anyone else having this problem? I've tried both adding my email accounts through Corporate (for hotmail/msn) and the email option on the phone.

Will I have to build a platform-specific app for all major mobile platforms to provide this kind of simple interface? If so, can you recommend a framework that will let me do this in "write once, run everywhere" fashion?
