I'm looking for a way to produce a dynamic activity based on a JSONArray object.
Here an example of a JSONArray object:

This JSONArray could be totally random. It could have 2 text views, 3 select menus, 1 text view and so on.
The goal is to iterate over this JSONArray and create the appropriate elements within my android code.
To produce the result I've thought of a simple switch which would render one by one my different JSONArray to an android widget.
But after that how could I have access of every property of every widget rendered?
Edit: I need as well to assign an event listener on some widget as taking the GPS coordinated...

The first section should be 200dip high, the third section should be 50 dip high and the middle section should take the remaining place in the middle. Is there any way to implement it? But all the examples I find for transition animations (push left out, push right in, etc.) deal with moving from one view to another. What about an application that only has one view, but dynamically changes the data feeding that view? The best common example of this is the base calendar app. It has identical views, but when you swipe forward or backward the date of the view transitions with a swipe animation. How do I reproduce this? Surely I don't have to inflate ViewFlippers for the same view? And if so, what is the best way to go about this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been testing a whole mess of different browsers, and so far, I've only found three that have dynamic text reflow (by which I mean the text resizes to whatever zoom level you choose): Opera Mobile, Opera Mini and UC Browser, and UC Browser's text reflow is somewhat glitchy and unreliable. Not even Opera Beta has the text reflow.
I'm also aware some browsers have the double-tap after zoom to reflow the text, but I find that generally rather unreliable, too; it sometimes zooms out instead of reflowing.
Why is this? Is there a technical limitation with doing this in Webkit, that Presto made easy or something? Am I wasting my time trying to hunt down a new browser with dynamic text reflow? (Opera Mobile is starting to drag a bit.)

In my project i am having rich text editor options to apply for the edit text view. In that i applied font color,font names,font size options for user.But these options will apply for whole text available in edit text. But my problem is i want to apply user selected settings (like font color,size,font) for user selected text instead of Whole text. i want to apply the user selected font/color/size to the user selected text.How?

Is there a Java library for colourings text in an EditText? Or is this just accomplished with Regex? I looked into Google Prettify but that seems to be for static text.

So the user selects a burger type from a spinner, then the user can enter in the quantity and then there is some math taking place in the background which sets a text view at the bottom with the total price. I'm not sure what method I'm meant to use so that it is updated dynamically when the user changes the text view quantity.
If i just say that all burgers are 2.50, i need some sort of method saying, if/when data is entered into the edit text , take that data and then times it by 2.50 and set it in the total text view below. I'm just unsure on the method part of it so it's dynamic and will change when the edit text quantity is altered.

At the moment the spinner will load a simple Textview and show the name of the item.It is possible to define an own view to show inside the spinner row? I would suspect it being similar to a custom List row.I simply want to show an individual icon left from the spinner text for each item in the list.

I want to change the color of a substring while it is drawed in a text view. For example, if I have this text: "Hello this is a text in black color and (COLOR_RED_BEGIN)this is a text in red color. However when i scroll to next view in gallery it shows text and when it comes to focus and centered the text disappears.
If i replace gallery with grid or a horizontal view I can see the text on edit text.

If the data in the listview do not contain the data of user choice then user should be able to enter data. If the data is already there in the list user will be able to select the data using custom selector. If a selection is made in the list view and user wanted to enter data in the text field at the bottom after selection then the marker in the list view should be unselected. I tried to use onclick() method on edit text using click listener. First time when it is clicked, edit text is getting focus and onclick() method is not fired. And when it is clicked second time, onclick() method is fired and notifyDataSetChanged() method is called. I tried to call the notifyDataSetChanged() method from the Focus Listener, list view selection is gone in my first attempt and edit text is not receiving any data input from the keyboard (frozen).
