I have a small business and need to mass blast texts to groups of 100-200 people. My new Incredible seems to be limited to 20 at a time. Is this carved in stone or is there a work around?

A while ago I found an app that would text phone numbers of your choice with "X" amount of texts. You would just fill in the text box, specify how many texts, and the frequency of the texts....... and voila! Instant gratification of seeing my friends phone blow up because he couldn't delete them as quickly as they were coming in.
I would prefer to find the original free version, but paid version is fine too. As long as you can personalize the text field, and set the number of texts, I'd be happy. The one I had you could set an almost unlimited number of texts, so I'd usually do them 75 texts at a time. As long as it'll let you do more than 50, it would be perfect.
How can I send a text to groups with over 20 contacts in them? I have two work groups that range from 20 to 25 members and often need to get messages to them. I switched from a Blackberry and like the new phone a great deal but I really need to have the ability to send large group texts.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've done a ton of searching and still haven't been able to find a solution that works for me. I am on Virgin Mobile and have an Optimus V. Most of my friends have iPhones and when they send a group text message it shows up as a blank message for me. I downloaded Go SMS Pro and it still doesn't work in there. I don't want any app that would give me a new number. BTW, I receive group texts from those of my friends that have Windows phones just fine.
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I recently switched from an iphone 4s to a Droid Maxx. Soon after switching over I learned that I was not receiving any texts messages from iphone users. After calling apple and removing my imessage certificate I started receiving INDIVIDUAL text messages from iphone users; however, when I am in a group message with other iphone users it continues to try and send messages to me as imessages. My friends have tried deleting my contact info on their phone along with all text message threads with me in it, but nothing has worked so far.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen a group message is sent between my co-workers, who are all iphone users, and myself (Note 3), one person in the exchange does not receive the text. This is not the common iMessage issue that was plaguing me when I made the switch from Apple to Android. This is specifically affecting one iphone user. When I send her a text individually it is not a problem. The other iPhone users don't have a problem receiving or sending to me.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy application writes data to a file in the SD card directly. There are no errors during the write. But, the file never shows up on the card, in the file browser (on the device - I use Glance). Where did the file go? When trying to browse the device from my desktop, I notice the USB Mass Storage option is missing guess that's expected since others in the forum explain that it was removed in this version. But, I can't get my PC to browse the memory card when it's stored in the phone. This all just seems to add up to a flaky memory management problem, but I can't be sure.

I'm looking to upgrade my phone. Aside from normal phone use my main goal is to get a phone that will send a text message to a very large group of people all at once. My current phone Samsung Epic 4g Touch will do this but i have to create the message and then from the address box go to the group and one by one touch in each member (almost 200 in the group). I have my groups already but i would like to just add the whole group all at once. I don't care about the responses being in the same thread or anything else, I just want to add the group all at once to the address box.

However when I try to open in a error pops up and says "insert disc in drive f:/". If I change it to the media sync setting then nothing happens no drive detected. I plug in USB and mount via status bar, comp detects phone (makes sound) and I can see it in USB safe removal thing. Though once mounted, no drive shows up. USB debugging is not activated and I cannot find the USB mass storage selection that was there in 1.5.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm delving into customizing my EVO and thoroughly enjoying it. I have so many options I just don't know what to do with myself! I do, however, need some help. I made the mistake of linking my Facebook to my contacts when I first got my EVO, so my address book was a complete melting pot of mess (Facebook friends, imported contacts from my Blackberry, and others) and it absolutely drove me up the wall. I figured out how to unsync my Facebook, and I did.I now have two problems. I imported all of my contacts from my Blackberry to my EVO and two things happened. Most of the numbers didn't come with them, and all of the pictures from my old berry did. Elsewise, this phone is still finding Facebook contacts and linking them with imported contacts. I'm going bananas.I need to find a way to mass delete the low res contact pictures from my contacts, find a way to I guess "link" or find the numbers for all of these contacts, and a way to make this beautiful phone stop putting Facebook icons and low res pics on the people in my address book.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI use Samsung Galaxy S2 with Ice Scream Sandwich 4.0.3. WITHOUT EXTERNAL SD CARD ,rooted with SuperSu,oh and I rooted my phone specifically to be able to move apps to internal mass storage.
Firstly,before I tried rooting my phone,I tried moving my apps to internal mass storage via the basic application manager in settings,but it only showed the "move to SD" option.
Then I rooted my phone and downloaded x-plore.With x-plore ( file manager app with root browsing ) I found out that there were two parts of any app on the internal memory.First part ( located in /root/data/app ) contains .apk of an app which is oftenly same size as the installation of an app.Second part ( located in /root/data/user/data/data ) and it contains ".com.android." files of an app,which I believe are downloaded folders by that app.So for an example ,if I have Angry Birds installed, angrybirds.apk will be available in /root/data/app and ".com.android.rovio.angrybirds" will be available in /root/data/user/data/data.Since I couldn't find ANY app that is specifically made to move app to INTERNAL mass storage,I tried moving these two parts of an app (.apk and ".com.android..") to internal mass storage ( named as "sd" on x-plore ).But,as expected the app I moved tho the mass storage was "installed on sd card" as android would specify when I'd try to run it.Note:I moved it to a random directory on internal mass storage.When I moved the files back to their original paths,since they wouldn't work on mass storage,they worked properly again.
So any way I count kind of mount those two parts I mentioned of an app as one,so Android would recognize it as a whole app when I move those files on internal mass storage.Or is there some other way to move them to mass storage?Or to make apps automatically install on internal mass storage?
I really don't want to buy a SD card since I've read multiple articles that apps don't run best from SD cards.Once again,I repeat , I wan't to move them to INTERNAL mass storage which is around 11.50 GB of space,because my internal(system) memory is like 1/1,97 GB used.
I dropped my Gnex for the thousandth time, exceot this time my screen decided to not turn on... since my phone doesn't have an sd card all my data is locked in there. My touch screen doesn't work so i cant just try to wing it from memory, so now I'm wondering if there is some magical way i can turn on mass storage vie my PC, unless there's another way to get my stuff off my phone.

The only was it connect is via recovery mode buts thats difficult to do everytime.
Can't seem to get my Captivate to mount on my Mac 10.6 machine. Doesn't make for a great first impression when trying to transfer over some music from iTunes via DoubleTwist. Anyone else able to get their Captivate to mount on their mac? I've had a little more success on my Win7 x64 rig, but I'm still having issues getting this thing to mount as a mass storage device or otherwise.
