I just want to write a note on my home screen. No small link to a note that opens it, just a simple sentence that will be on my home screen when I want to remember something.

Ill hold it down but it will vibrate but nothing comes up -_- im not sure if i turned something off or if its broken. anything i should try before i go to the verizon store or something?

This problem does not happen if I exit an app by pressing the back button. It becomes very annoying at times.

My application does some cpu intensive churning, writes a bit to the screen and continues. I am using a list adapter for the output. View 2 Replies View RelatedI am designing a home screen widget. I ran this widget on a HTC Hero device, which has a screen of 320 pixels * 480 pixels with mdpi. It ran perfect on HTC Hero. The widget takes 3 cells * 2 cells space, i.e. 240 pixels * 200 pixels.Then I ran this widget on a Nexus One device, which has a screen of 480 pixels * 800 pixels, mdpi. Since Nexus One also is mdpi, so I though 240dip is equivalent to 240 pixels on Nexus One and 200dip is equivalent to 200 pixels on Nexus One, so the widget will not take 3 cells * 2 cells space on Nexus One device. To my surprise, when running on Nexus One device, the widget take exact 3 cells * 2 cells, about 360 pixels * 300 pixels, on Nexus One device.I am confused. The layout xml above specifies 240dip in width and 200dip in height for the widget, but why did it take 360 pixels * 300 pixels on Nexus One Device? What am I missing?

I cannot find where to get rid of this, the guys in T mobile did not know either. Not the end of the world but when you watch vids etc you can see it behind everything!

Seven is really pointless for me, it makes finding the right screen take a little longer and there's just not enough good quality widgets that I need to use. I could do better with 5 and possibly just 3.Second is that when I'm not on a homescreen and I hit the home button, I'd like it to go back to the LAST homescreen I was on, not the center one. And if I'm already on a homescreen, once again pull up the homescreen select menu, instead of going to the center homescreen. It's a waste of a button press to always go to that center screen when pressing the home button.

I think these are for baseline HVGA screen. View 2 Replies View RelatedI haven't had any screen issues in the past, but today my tablet randomly decided to go totally black on me. I looked online and some posts mentioned to check if the screen was actually off, or just stuck at 0% brightness. So I got a flashlight and it turned out that I could see the screen in the light of the flashlight, very faintly. I tried to manually change the brightness setting, but that didn't do anything. I tried to go into 'power saver settings', but the 'screen brightness' power saver setting is stuck on and won't uncheck. Restarting doesn't fix it. Plugging it in to the computer or an outlet doesn't fix it.
I haven't downloaded any applications that override the screen brightness.
I'm using the Galaxy Note 10.1 (not the 2014 version).
I have bought a HDC Galaxy Note 3 N9006 1:1 Quad Core model.
The specs are:
MTK6582 Quad cores 1.3GHz Cortex A9+SGX544 GPU
Ram : 1GB
Rom : 4GB(Support TF Card up to32GB)
First of all, the biggest problem is the battery life.. The phone is on for about 1 up to 2 hours of semi-heavy usage. The screen brightness is set to the lowest one and still the battery life is really low. I dont know whether this is a software fault or the chinese battery is simply crap, so i dont know if there is any point in buying a genuine Samsung Galaxy Note 3 battery.
Secondly, i have an error on some of my apps saying that "Google services that some of your apps rely on, is not supported by your device.. ( screenshot included)" how to fix this problem on this HDC model?
Thirdly for some reason i keep on getting a message about roaming, ( i cant see the message fully, screenshot included) and i have to register my network again for it to disappear for a short period of time and then i have to repeat the same process again.
Lastly, i cannot update my youtube application and i get an error saying that i need to uninstall the previous version of the app. But the problem is that it wont let me delete the previous version.
i just tried to root my note 2 but after the oden process my screen started to flickering and flashing.

I have used my Galaxy Note 2 together with an All-Share dongle showing screen mirroring with projector. This has been working perfectly for months but when I got N2 updated to Android 4.3 the screen mirroring gets connected but immediately disconnects.

I just installed lock 2.0 and i was just adjusting the settings and now every time I'm in my phone and i touch the "Home" button it locks my phone instead of taking me back to my home screen! Is this normal? Did I accidental do it in the settings? HELP its driving me crazy

This only happens when running certain apps, specifically Facebook and jetflicks (and some others that I can't name off the top of my head) but when I press the home button it goes to the last screen of my home setup. I run stock froyo and sense, and I keep up with as many updates as possible. Is there a patch for this that anyone knows of?

This morning, the screen completely got filled with blue/white/messed up color, and then went completely black. Touchscreen still worked though because I was able to maneuver around the phone right after it was dropped. Screen was not cracked. does the screen has to be replaced as well or i can replace it with smaller parts?
