How do you leave a comment in the android market?
I know this has to be really simple, and I'm just not seeing it, but how do you leave a review for an app? I've tried going to Android Market and I've tried looking through the Market app on my phone to see if I can review apps there, but I'm just not seeing anything.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a free app that has 64% of ratings at 5 starts, but still has 9% of ratings at only 1 start, some of them even said that my app is an "useless garbage", so I think maybe I need to leave a reply to those users to explain something or answer their questions. So are there any ways that we could do such thing?
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhen downloading and installing updates from Android Market, you often see an update comment like version 1.2.14 Bugfix on.version 1.2.15 Added settings menu and so on. How is that comment made? I couldn't see a update comment field in the market today.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI really want to add comments and ratings to a number of applications in the free Market, but I can't see any way to do it. How are you meant to add a comment? Maybe it's because I'm in Denmark, which should get/have gotten access to paid Market apps, but even so does not seem to offer paid apps yet. If that's the case, it's kinda dumb that you can't even comment on the free stuff. So, how are you meant to add a comment? Either I'm doing it wrong, or I'm not able to I'd like to know which is the case.

View 5 Replies View Related"You can tell that the processor is fast, but the UI still has a jerky quality to it - it's not totally fluid. We'd say that's more of an Android thing, though."Quoted directly from engadet's preview."Dont get me wrong: the Droid X is a delight to use. But at times, the hypothetical finish feels a little rougher than it should, and its lacking a certain refinement in how it switches between screens, in how it responds to the touch that one sees in an iPhone or even iPod."Quoted from Zdnet.com's preview.I have hopes that the phone is nice and fluid. I remember the droid when it first came out was lagy, especially on the home screens. Lets hope the X is not.
View 43 Replies View RelatedI've noticed that a lot of comments on top apps are from comment spammers. When is something going to be done about this market wide problem? There are probably less than 20 of these users who hit virtually every top app with comment spam. My app is getting hit every single day by these people. It's really getting annoying.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOK, heres the dealio. I have used root explorer to rename numerous .apk's to .bak's. All have nicely removed themselves from my app drawer...except for blockbuster. Anyone else with this issue or know how to resolve it. it is just sitting there smiling at me and it is useless now. If I tap to open it say it can't...no duh DX...I just renamed it...so why are you still here?? I have also already done a battery pull.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIf I am on a call and leave the dialer area to search for something, is there a way to get back to the phone menu that offers mute/end call/speaker an so on? I hit dialer to get back but it just shows the dialer and none of those options. I have to wait for the other person to hang up first to even end the call. So far this is happens to me with dialer one, stock dialer and takephone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedNow I know there will be a thread or 2 about this at the moment but I thought I would double check being a newbie and all. If someone leaves a bad comment, or a competitor leaves a bad comment (to help their sales), so on or so far, is there no way to either delete it or at least answer the comment back? HUGE oversight if not and frustrating What have other developers done to overcome this problem?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am currently using the official Twitter app and it's not too bad on the whole. However, I was wondering if there is a way of being able to comment on photos which have been uploaded via TweetPhoto etc, from the official Twitter app? I know you can add TweetPhoto to your allowed applications via Twitter on a computer, but there doesn't seem to be a way to comment on the photo from my mobile. I could reply to the tweet, but that doesn't leave a comment underneath the picture of TweetPhoto. Hope all that makes sense.
View 8 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to Retweet and add your own comment using the official Twitter app?
I have read the comments on the market and AppBrain and some people have made reference to retweeting and adding a comment to the retweet.
If this is possible, could somebody tell me how?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm planning to get a Bluetooth headset for use with my Eris. I don't really have any experience with a headset so I have a question about how it works:
I would like to leave the headset powered on and when I receive a call, either answer it from the headset or from the Eris depending on where I am/what I'm doing etc. Is this possible? Or if the headset is on will I always have to answer the call from there? I believe that I've heard that this is the way headsets work but I was hoping that I might be able to choose my answer "mode".
I am using locale but I can't figure out how to make the bluetooth turn on when I leave home. I have a "home" situation which turns it off with my home address as the situation. Any suggestions?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having some serious issues with Visual Voicemail on my Droid. I get calls, miss them and people leave me VMs. I can see that I have them, I know what numbers they're coming from, but I can't listen to them. They won't download from the server. I thought I was out of space or something, so I deleted all of my stored VMs, but they still won't download. What is going on??? It's really becoming frustrating because some of these could have been critical VMs that I need to listen to.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Incredible that will not enter Sleep mode -- the "Awake time" stays the same as the "Up Time" no matter how often I reboot the phone. I removed any recently downloaded apps and went so far as to do a full factory reset -- the problem remains.
Here's what happens: My battery, which formerly lasted for about 12 hours of regular use, now lasts no more than 4. Settings > About Phone > Battery shows that the Up Time and the Awake Time are the same. "Battery Use" lists a bunch of non-app program (Display, Voice Calls, Cell Standby, Android System, etc), and clicking the little graph at the top of the screen shows that, while the "Screen on", "Phone Signal" and "Charging" go in and out depending on whether the phone is on, has signal or is charging, the "Awake" bar is solidly blue -- as in it has always been awake. Moreover, the phone gets noticeably warm, as if I were using it for an hour or two straight.
I first had this problem a month or so ago. After searching on this forum and others I adjusted the sync rates on things like Facebook and Twitter apps and deleted a couple of apps. The problem went away and I thought all was fixed. Then, yesterday, I was on an airplane, turned my phone off at takeoff and back on upon landing, and soon after I noticed the Awake problem was back.
I hadn't downloaded any new apps recently but went back and deleted a few downloaded in the last three weeks or so anyway. I looked at the current apps running, checked sync frequency on the same old things again, went back to these forums and tried everything that was listed (downloaded some sort of program monitoring apps, force stopped things like Calender that may have been problematic, uninstalled recent updates), all to no avail.
I just posted a defect / feature request and it was declined without comment. Can anybody explain to me why this was declined without an explanation?
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=2991
I took the time to provide feedback as a user of the android api, based on some discussion in the developer group. I am not the only developer who has encountered this deficiency in the api. I think I explained the deficiency clearly. And I think it is a professional courtesy to provide an explanation. If it is a duplicate, please say so. If I am in error and this is not a problem because of an oversight on my part, I think that would be helpful to know.
If the attitude of the project owners is that the api is good enough. Maybe we could have a short conversation about that.
As it stands now, I have no insight into this issue or why my defect was declined. Was it rejected for good reason or an arrogant developer who like to hit the reject button?
