I just picked up my Moto Droid and may have to return it since my email system is a hosted online system and requires Intellesync and Windows Explorer!Please someone, tell me there is a way to install Windows IE on the droid!

I really want to get Droid Explorer on my PC and I have tried every version there is to try. Keep getting error message Droid Explorer.bootstrapper has encountered a problem and needs to close. When I look at details it says error signature is clr20r3, lists P1 thru P9, P9 is system.io.filenotfoundexception. Do I need to install something prior to Droid Explorer?

I've looked around a bit, but it seems nothing is available, but most of those threads weren't this specific and they all seemed to be pretty old. are there any options that will allow her to get to this site or should I just scrap the whole idea until her company moves into the current technological age?

(Even on my pc, I have to use IE for this, it won't work with fire fox or chrome). None of the ip camera apps available so far work with my q-see camera system. Is there any way to "emulate" internet explorer on the android?. I don't anticipate microsoft will be making an android-version anytime soon.

i installed flyrom v4 in ma htc explorer through clockworkmod... When i tried to reboot it stucks in the htc splash screen..Still not coming to home screen. And i partitioned ma sd card ext2 using minitool and i linked it thru link2sd... But it doesnt mount in clockworkmod... But flyrom instaled perfectly...

The website works on Iphone but not on Blackberry's or Nokia E63. I have tried a SGS in the shop and it came up with an error message.
Spoke with my IT dept and they said the site is only designed to work with Internet Explorer and Firefox. Apples Safari it works with but has some issues on certain rendering etc.
So the question is can Internet Explorer or Firefox be run as the Internet browser on this phone rather than the Google Chrome or whatever it has at present?
I have buyed an samsung galaxy s (android os) only to used it for biddind on a damaged vehicule site AUTOonline but it won't work After i login i recive an erorr(site not optimaized for safari) I tried opera ,dolphin,skyfire. but no success After i login the site extension is .aspx. I cant get on the sky sports website at all just freezes on the google search and then I try and get on the bbc sport page which works fine but when I go on the live cricket text it crashes and quits the internet. I never had a problem with either before 2.2! I have tried on the default browser and also dolphin but neither work. Are there any settings I should change since installing 2.2 or is it just a case of 2.2 update screwing things up? My friend in the office at work is on orange with 2.2 and it works fine for him.

Any way by which I can make my internet working after installing BusyBox. Let me explain what I did.
1. I put the BusyBox PRO apk in /system/app and restarted my Phone and after restarting I opened the BusyBox and install all the binaries and after that all commands started working fine in terminal emulator only thing that didn't worked my internet.
Flashed my phone using stock rom
2. After installing fresh ROM this time I installed BusyBox normally and after installation I updated all the binaries again and everything started working well but yet again my internet stopped working.
What should I do to make my internet connection work after installing BusyBox.
I'm having a problem with the internet. Recently I updated new software on my phone Xperia X10 mini, (2.1) and since then I can't access the Internet trough Web! I could access it on 1.6 software (there would be those 2 arrows one on up on on down) and now I can't get that connection again. And one more question, how come that I'm not visible on Bluetooth at all and I can't send any data over bluetooth, or at least receive.

It then deleted all of my contacts.So I deleted Facebook, re-stored all my contacts and reloaded Facebook. However, now it gets as far as installing and it never stops. I have installed cyanogenmod 9 in my Sony Live Walkman, and the kernel that comes with it.
Can I install a new kernel (like rage kernel) without having to install the rom (CM9) again? It will work just replacing the kernel?
In the DDMS, I had used FileExplorer and visited /data/app folder to see the .apk files installed in the emulator. After that I had minimized the data folder and thus stopped that process.
But I am observing that this /data/app folder is opening again and again automatically. I dont know what is the reason and how to stop it.
installed Estrong File explorer and I am able to connect to my PC (Windows 7 Pro 64bit) when i select a file to open-for example a mp3 file, i get a error "Do you forget to insert sdcard?" I do not have a SD card in my mobile. is it needed for opening files from the remote PC? I am assuming that Estrong looks for a temp folder for caching, is there a way that i can change this path to something like "emmcestrongcache" where can I find this option?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had the E Strong File Explorer for some time but never really used it. So today I wanted to create a special folder for some pictures i downloaded off the web. All the ones I downloaded were put under sdcard/downloads. I created a folder and named it "Cars" and then went to the download folder, copied the pictures, went to the Cars folder and pasted them there. I then think I made a mistake and went to the original pictures in the download folder and deleted them. Now when I open my photo gallery and go to the download folder, i see frames for the pics but no picture. And when I try and open them I just get a black screen. When I go back in the file explorer, I'm able to go to the "cars" folder, click on a picture, choose image from the drop down menu, and then I can view it. So what did I do wrong and is it fixable?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI haven't used Root Explorer in a while, and when I go to use it, I'll I get is a blank black screen with Root Explorer at the top, then it FC. I have a rooted droid x and have given it Root Explorer SU permission. I know for a fact I've used it before. Not sure what's up. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. I even have a previous version saved via Titanium back, and that won't work either, nor will the updated version when I update it via the market.

On the Speed Test app, the highest speeds I get are 1.8m/bs downloads and around 500kpbs upload. However, those were at off peak times at night etc (probably when nobody is using the net).Generally I get anything from 0.3 m/bs to 0.9 m/bs though. Lately I've been experiencing some inconsistent internet speeds and reconnection attempts so for I've gone back to the default settings. Tbh though I'm not sure if it makes much difference.
