I used to have Mobileme sync all my Contacts, Calender, and Email to my PC but I just canceled Mobileme for Google. I looked at Google Sync services but it only syncs my Calender and Email. How do I sync my Contacts, Calender, and Email to my computer (Windows 7)? (3rd party or something? )

I posted this in the HTC Desire Tips and Tricks forum but think that may have been the wrong place, so trying here.I entered a years worth (2011) of appointments in Google calendar; mainly on Sundays but a few other days as well.I then left the automatic sync with my HTC Desire to update the phone.I was then looking at the appointments when I noticed that some had not synced. These are all those whose date in 2011 is later than this years date e.g. an appointment in Google for Sunday 20th November 2011 has synced to my Desire but the appointment from 27th November 2011 has not;nor have those for the rest of the Sundays in 2011.Over the two last days I have also done several manual syncs and rebooted phone.Some weeks ago I entered an appointment for 2012 and this has synced. I also brought forward a lot of appointments from my Palm TX, most for 2010 but one for July 2015, and these all synced.
Today I added two more appointments. On before 24th November 2011 and one after; the one before synced but the one after did not. I have also deleted one of the missing appointments from Google and re-entered it; still not on my Desire even after a manual sync.Is it possible that the Desire has a limit of say the number of entries or only one years worth from today's date (that does not explain the 2012 and 2015 appointments synced at an earlier time!)This morning I entered a further appointment for today and that has synced to my Desire. The others still not have.I also sync Google Calendar to Outlook on my Desktop; this has synced correctly.
I have a strange problem on my HTC one (stock rom) which cropped up shortly after taking the most recent update from Verizon.
In short, my Google Calendar is now crashing every time I refresh it in the calendar (i.e., pull down on a calendar day). Even with my all accounts set to NOT sync with Calendar and my calendar data cleared, it STILL crashes constantly. A screenshot of the crash is below. I have not installed any new apps or done anything "interesting" other than receive the VZW update. I live and die by my calendar, so this is a gigantic problem for me.
Here's specifically what I've tried to do to fix this and what happens:
1) Disabled syncing of my 2 gmail accounts to this calendar.
2) Force-stopped the calendar app
3) Cleared the calendar data
4) Verified there are no events shown on the calendar UI
5) Opened calendar and either wait a bit, or pull down to refresh.
6) Receive "Unfortunately, Calendar has stopped"
The crash is always the same: "TimeFormatException,Unexpected character 0x5a at pos=8. Expected T.,Time.java,-2"
I have found "jorte" which i like better than the native calendar. I like having the appts. separate from the tasks. But tasks don't sync with Google calendar.
Is there one that is similar to jorte but syncs tasks with Google calendar?
I have two gmail accounts and when I go to the settings for the calendar to sync, I get the three options of My Calendar, Pc Sync and my first gmail email account.I can't get the second email account to show. That is the calendar I need synced.

There are events in my Droid's calendar that were deleted from the google calendar a long time ago. If I visit the google calendar website, I can confirm that these events are not in the google calendar, yet they still appear on my Droid. I have tried deleting and re_adding the calendar under the calendar app's settings as well as using the "manage applications" area to clear all the data associated with the calendar. The calendar the appears empty, but after the next sync, those events come back (even though they do not show up on the online google calendar). What can I do?

On this calendar I also can view my calendars of other family members.The problem I am having is that I had to create a google account when I bought the phone. However, I can't seem to get my non-google calendar to show up on the phone.I have tried using my new google account to "friend" my non-google calendar account but it's still not showing up.

1. I have a Google Apps account with my contacts/calendar etc
2. I have my work exchange account
3. I have Outlook 2007 standalone on my home laptop to access gmail etc
I have always used WM devices in the past and kept the work exchange and home outlook in sync using the device.
So when I got this, I synced outlook and exchange, got a copy of the PST and uploaded it into my google account.
Set up google and exchange, and installed htc sync on the laptop and synced phone, now I have 3 sets of addresses and 2 sets of calenders with the same thing. How best to sort this!
If I am at work I would add things etc to my exchange, and at home to outlook stand alone, is there an app that syncs the 3 together!
This may already exist somewhere but I am just unaware of it. I'm looking for a calendar app that will allow me to share schedules with my family on our respective devices. For example, if I add an event to a calendar this week, I want the event to appear on the calendar on each of my family members devices, and update any additional changes automatically.

I just got a droid 2 today. I have a Gmail account. E-Mail is working fine, but the calendar is only syncing repeating events. I have tried stopping and restarting the calendar, as well as removing and relinking the account. The problem persists.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy girlfriend and I both have Eris's which we got back in March. Up until the 2.1 OTA update we both received our emails without fail. I have a Live, Hotmail, and Gmail account and she has a Live and an Exchange school account. Once we got the update we both started noticing that we weren't getting our emails on our phones. I found the manual sync button and since then we have both been just using that to receive our email, but it is getting on my nerves now as I have gotten important emails late on a few occasions. This problem happens no matter what network we are connected to, either 3g or my home WiFi. Has anyone found a fix for this other than using an app like K9? I have a lot of apps on my phone and don't really have room to spare, and I like the stock mail app so please don't suggest using another app.

I love it so far and I'm still on the upward slope of the learning curve, but I'm looking for an email client that I can use on my laptop that will sync with my phone. It's my work email and it is set up on Outlook on my Toshiba laptop (Windows 7 64bit) and through the default email client on the phone (it's just a POP3 account). The problem that i run into is that mail deleted or sent from one device is not reflected on the other.

Great news - it now will sync with Google Documents!GooMemo - Android Notes application.The developer had originally planned that this would be part of a paid-for premium version, but very kindly he has released it for free.For those of us Palm refugees who miss having memos synced between handheld and desktop I think this is the only application that does it properly. I haven't played with it very much yet, but it seems to work very well. In Google Documents all your memos are put into a spreadsheet with a different sheet for each category and each memo on its own row. This is maybe not the prettiest of options, but it makes it all very transparent, and easy to export your notes in CSV form if you want to move them elsewhere. The only slight irritation I've had is that it won't remember my Gmail password and I have to rekey it each time I want to sync.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm a new Droid Eris user and have been using Google Calendar for some time.I have a single calendar set up which is syncing with the Eris.I can successfully add/edit/delete entries from both applications and have them show up just fine on the other side.I have a couple of recurring entries that I've since deleted in Google Calendar but are still showing up on my Eris.The unique thing about both of these entries is that they were meeting requests sent to my Gmail address and accepted from there.They have since been cancelled from the original sender and are now removed from my Google Calendar.My calendar entries are labeled as dark blue, and these two show as light blue.I cannot select them on the Eris to edit or delete them.
View 3 Replies View RelatedToday, I managed to sync. my Lotus Notes calendar with google calendar (after 2 days of turmoil)Then the notes events were displayed on google calendar but 6 hours ahead (like GMT) thought both calendars were set on the same time zone (CST).At this point, the calendar pad widget synced with google calendar and displayed all my lotus notes events 6 hours ahead as in the google calendar.I then changed my google calendar time zone to GMT so that my lotus notes events showed the correct time .But now, the calendar pad widget still shows the old google calendar events that was 6 hours off even after syncing.Can some one please help configure such that my lotus notes , google calendar and calendar pad widget all show the same events at same time (hopefully, maintaining the same time zone settings for all)
View 3 Replies View RelatedI started killing the calendar and the obex services by going into settings>applications>running services.
This is resulted in the awake times significantly lower than the up time... however today i realised it also means when i want to connect the Desire to the pc to sync contacts/calendar with outlook.. the sync software on the phone does not launch at all. I went into the programs menu, but there is no launcher icon for the sync app.
I also setup the power control widget that comes with the phone on the homescreen and enabled sync from that... no go. The Sync app only came up when i rebooted the device and *DID NOT* kill the two calendar processes on the phone.
I know rebooting is a solution, but i would appreciate if there's something quicker.
Problem: Appointments / events created on my LG Optimus G were not syncing to desktop Google Calendar. No problem with appointments / events created on desktop syncing down to phone. Problem Identification: Default calendar when creating appointment / event on phone was calendar called "Phone". There is no calendar on desktop called "Phone". Solution: Pick different calendar when creating an appointment / event on your phone.

And I configure the username and pwd from DevTools->Google Service Login successfully. Now I can start the Calendar app successfully, with the month view/week view/etc. But I don't know how to sync the calendars or events with Google Calendar service. From the source code, I assume there should happen sync operation. But it didn't happened. And I know another trigger to sync is Menu->More->My Calendars, but after selected, the activity will crash. However, I hate HTC Calendar and the way it has sync problems with Google Calendar, i would much prefer the stock Android Google Calendar. Anyone know where I can grab the latest one that comes with non-HTC Froyo so I can make my life better?And for anyone skittish about rooting don't be! It's easy and you won't regret it.it's awesome having the access to just remove whatever files you want whereever they are and customize things.

For the life of me I can't get it to show up on my phone. It doesn't show up in my calendars list under the menu. I've had this problem for weeks. I want to develop a shopping cart type application where the user needs to purchase the products from the list of products. Once the user selects the product, the payment should be made directly from the same application only and not by opening Google Checkout or Paypal mobile website.

There is a known issue on Android 4.2.2 with excessive battery drain with Google Services when Wi-Fi & mobile network location is enabled. Does Android 4.3 resolves this? I can't believe that Google will not use Standalone GPS services if Wi-Fi & mobile network location is disabled. So, the only way to use Maps is to put the phone in excessive battery drain mode.

I tried to download the gapps and put the APK files to /system/app, modified the permission and they worked fine. But I still can't add the Google account in Account and Sync setting.

I have a G300 and today i have installed a Cyanogenmod ROM.
The problem is that none of the google services appaear to be able to connect despite the presence of a working internet connection.
Even the Playstore display the famous "no connection...retry" message.I have tried to rebbot....factory reset...checking if the time is correct.
The host file in the etc folder display only the line 127.0.0.1 localhost line.what i have to do?
