View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got 'my first app' working on Eclipse, but I can't use my physical device as a target. I have Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Samsung Galaxy Ace(aka Cooper), Win 7. Latest versions of Eclipse and ADT. On adb devices, it doesn't show up, only the emulator if that's on.
USB Debugging is turned on and I downloaded three different drivers: the one Windows automatically downloads, one using USBDriverTool and the Universal ADB Driver.
If it's relevant, I also had trouble installing the ADT plugin with Eclipse, I posted about it here in a separate thread.
ok so ive tryed rooting my sophix 8 and ive installed the adb drivers and my Tab is reconized as ADB, well when i try to root it with eather cmd promp, oneclickrecovery,root_with_recovery, superoneclick, and razorroot, the device is not detected, idk why but ive tryed almost everything with cmd promp and reintalling the drivers and such.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an MSI Windpad Enjoy 7 Tab that I used to to connect to an ELM327 OBDII bluetooth dongle for car diagnostics (torque app).
After upgrading from froyo to gingerbread, my tablet bluetooth doesn't detect the elm327 anymore, it also doesn't detect my car kit but it still detects other android phones perfectly well.
I know it's not a hardware problem or incompatibility since I already paired that device to this tablet before, it's a scan problem.
So here's my question: is there a way to "force feed" the bluetooth address of a device into android so it doesn't have to rely on a scan to find it?
I deleted /system folder on my nexian cosmic journey. And now my nexian is stuck...
I try to using fastboot mode to flash recovery image, but my device seems not detected. I already installed the android composite driver, but when i use "fastboot devices" command, it shows (?) So how the heck to get my nexian back to normal?..
Or perhaps, if i just be able to put back the /system folder to its place again, it would be more easy to recover it... But how access the root when phone is like that?

I have manually installed the drivers, and I am running windows 7 64-bit. The problem is that my Hero will not connect to my pc as a mass storage device. I pull down the notifications, mount, but then a couple of seconds later, the hero remounts the SD card and closes the connection. My computer will detect it and I can access the "storage device" for a couple of seconds, but then it disconnects.

I have experienced following problems with my tablet :
1. When connected as usb storage device it restarts automatically.
2. Bluetooth once switched off can't be switched on unless device is restarted.
Downloaded FoxFi, and love it. Great when I need to use my laptop. But...
Lately, I've noticed it has been having connection issues. I start the hotspot, my laptop "sees" it. And I can connect (shows "connected" in the wifi window next to "FoxFi" on laptop). But, at the top of the same wifi window, it also shows (under "Currently connected to:"), "No internet access" (or something - connected right now on different wifi network, so I can't get the exact wording). But I hope this is clear.
Why this weird contradiction? One part of the window says I'm connected, the other says I'm not.

ok so me and my mom traded phones i had a iphone 5 and her the samsung galaxy s4 active so when i got the phone it worked great had it for about 2-3 weeks then all of a sudden when i try to enable wifi it wont let me it stays green and i keep getting a message that says Unauthorized actions have been detected. When the phone is unplugged, it says USB connected, and all of the icons are missing from the top of the homepage (time, signal strength, 3g, etc). The pull down menu is also hard to pull down then is real jerky when it does pull down. When the phone is plugged in, it has the signal for the USB and all the icons return, It also shows a full battery, then tho it is not.

The signal is perfect when the external antenna is connected but now the phone does not detect any mobile signal without the antenna, at all. If I unplug the antenna, the phone loses any connection it has. Whats going on and how do i fix it?! I bought this brand new from third party so taking it to T-mobile will not be possible, i think.

But resetting phone or reinserting card is often the required action to take.I have not heard of anyone else having this problem on the Hero (1.5) but it is driving me bonkers. The shipped 2Gb card worked ok. A new 4Gb had this problem. I have send this one card back to ScanDisk. The second 4Gb card eventually corrupted so badly it will no longer reformat. And the third 4Gb card will not remain recognised for more than a few minutes. Making the phone unusable.I am wondering if any other Hero users have experienced this.I do not know for sure if this is a HTC issue a card issue or and Android issue.
