View 1 RepliesI just came from a Droid Eris, and the clock/weather widget was spot on as far as changing weather and showing the correct location based on my location in the network. My Fascinate came with the Weatherbug one, but only updates if you refresh. Has anyone found one for the Fascinate that updates correctly?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the new Droid X but I love the Weather app that came on his phone, how it updates his location as he moves about as well as the weather updates. This would be greatly beneficial to me as I travel all day and work outside. Anyone know of a weather widget that does this?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI tried removing it and adding it back about ten times and it still won't show the weather..just says "my location" under the clock. If I click on the clock and load it, I can then click on the clock and it will load the weather screen, updated and all...but it still refuses to load it on the home screen with the time. Happened a few days after froyo update. How can I get the weather back as part of the clock widget??
View 1 Replies View Relatedi read that quite a few people were having trouble with the preloaded clock and weather app.. on my htc wildfire it worked ok for the first couple of days then all ofa sudden it wouldnt show my localitys weather and all i get is some place called Bradston or something like that in america? only thing is im in australia anyone know whats going on?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am curious if anybody else has a problem with the weather app that is default when you use android. I have the HTC Hero. I really like the look of the big clock with the weather. But the weather on mine is WAY OFF and it drives me crazy. The cweather is always 8-14 degrees off from what the real temp is and the weather icon is also off most of the time. It may be cloudy and it will show rain. or it may be sunny and it will show partly cloudy. Now I know that they must use a tower that is not close to my house. But I live in a small town and there is no way that the temp is 14 degrees hotter 3 miles away at the same elevation. this is frustrating because I really like the look of the clock/weather widget. I just use the weather channels widget and it is close to spot on. But it does not have the same look as HTCs. I also used weather bug and it was off too. Not as bad as HTCs but still off.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to remove the weather icon from underneath the clock? I have turned off all GPS and auto update settings to conserve battery life so the icon under the clock is always wrong so it seems pointless that I even have it there.

Ive tried beautiful widgets and the weather add on..but they both don't seem to work..is there any out there that actually do work?
I'm using LauncherPro and i wanted a clock and weather widget. so naturally i purchased Beautiful Widgets. When i put "Beautiful Smaller Home" on my home screen the weather only updates when I turn my phone off and then back on. I've gone into the settings and ensured that both Geolocation and Use GPS over Network were enabled. Any ideas why it isn't updating and/or is anyone else experiencing this same issue?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Moto Droid 2.2 with "Alarm Clock Plus v2" set as my clock when in the multi-media dock. The weather information will load the current weather when the application first starts up, however will not refresh.
If I tap on the weather it will open the weather info with up to date info but going back to the clock will still show the old data. By removing the phone from the dock (thus exiting Alarm Clock Plus) and putting it back on the dock (thus running Alarm Clock Plus again) the weather info becomes current.
Has anyone else run into this? I looked in the settings for Alarm Clock Plus v2 and could not find any information on how often to refresh the weather info.
How do I get the weather and location to update more often? Because there was a thunder storm and my Eris told me that I was in the town next to me and that it was partly cloudy. So is there a way to get more frequent weather and location updates?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've tried Beautiful Widgets and Weather and Toggle Widgets, but both include weather. Here's my current home screen: I'd just like something without the weather below the digital clock since I have Weather Bug's forecast widget right there.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have an unbranded standard HTC Desire and wondered if there's such a widget that looks the same as the HTC flip clock but without the weather feature as shown in the pic below? I don't want to mess around with the standard rom though.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI got my hands on a Sprint Samsung Moment couple of days ago and already am missing my little HTC Touch Vogue(Customized with Windows Mobile 6.5). I was always flashing all kinds of custom ROMs into the Vogue and realize it's not that easy on these android phones. Anyway, I would like to know if there are android apps that will display the Flip clock with the weather and also if there are widgets or apps which will display the email, text message and missed call count on the desktop. I don't care for the notification bar so much.
On another note, I am using K-9 Mail for email but now I get notification from both the stock email client as well as K-9. How does one make K-9 the default? The latest version of K-9 has taken out the Email frequency check from the settings so I'm not sure hot to set the interval for email check.
I'm the happy owner of an Hero since one week but I have an "issue" with the Weather widget, the widget itself and the info under the clock in the home page. I live in France but I work in another country, I've not enabled auto data roaming as it costs a lot. Problem is that at 6:30am for instance the forecasts are updated, then I cross the border, data mode becomes disable and then 6h after, the logo still shows a moon and the 7C based on 6:30 update. And it stays in this useless state until 6pm when I leave the roaming mode returning to France.
How can I make the 2 widgets showing estimated forecast (looks like 3 days are available) even if no update is possible ? Before the Hero I was using a Winphone with SBP Mobile Shell and the weather widget was taking care of the time of the day to change the logo/forecast even not connected. If not possible with the HTC, could you point me to a weather widget more "clever" than this one?
Does anybody know how to change the clock skin back to original after uninstalling a clock skin? When you uninstall a clock skin, it uninstalls but the skin remains.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI love the little animations for weather, such as the windscreen wipers, but I'm not that keen on the combined clock and weather widget that seems to be the only thing that powers them.
Are there any other 3rd party weather widgets that have the animations, or similar?
I saw one mentioned somewhere a couple of days ago but I'm damned if I can find it!
I have the stock clock and weather widget. I removed it from my screen, and when I put it back, i chose current location and when i see it it only says my location with no weather data and when i tap on it it opens the clock app and I can't get it to open the weather app like it used to.
