Why would my skins (clock and weather) not change after selecting and applying them? I grabbed beautiful widgit and found some I like...it will not change! It's making me crazy. Something SO simple.

For those of you using Weather Widget Donate, I've created some skins to match some of the ROM's going around.
To install:
Download .zip file of skin and copy to sdcard/prettyweather-googlecode-com/clock
Credit goes to GODZSON from XDA for creating some of these original graphics

Does anybody know how to change the skins for the Weather Widget-Donate? The suggested method using OI File Manager doesn't seem to work.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI tried installing the Phantom Skinz I received yesterday and I couldn't for the life of me get the smaller pieces for the sides of the phone (only tried the sides on the top half of the phone) to stick. They would just slide right off and would not adhere to the phone. It was especially bad around the corners. I have installed many of these (multiple phones, macbook, ipods, etc...) and I have never had this much trouble installing one. Any suggestions from you guys who have installed one of these on the Droid? What should I mix the water with to get the best stick? I tried a drop of dish soap and that obviously didn't work. I did get the one on the screen fine (however there are some bubbles that still haven't went away after 24 hours !)

View 4 Replies View RelatedI tried removing it and adding it back about ten times and it still won't show the weather..just says "my location" under the clock. If I click on the clock and load it, I can then click on the clock and it will load the weather screen, updated and all...but it still refuses to load it on the home screen with the time. Happened a few days after froyo update. How can I get the weather back as part of the clock widget??

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am curious if anybody else has a problem with the weather app that is default when you use android. I have the HTC Hero. I really like the look of the big clock with the weather. But the weather on mine is WAY OFF and it drives me crazy. The cweather is always 8-14 degrees off from what the real temp is and the weather icon is also off most of the time. It may be cloudy and it will show rain. or it may be sunny and it will show partly cloudy. Now I know that they must use a tower that is not close to my house. But I live in a small town and there is no way that the temp is 14 degrees hotter 3 miles away at the same elevation. this is frustrating because I really like the look of the clock/weather widget. I just use the weather channels widget and it is close to spot on. But it does not have the same look as HTCs. I also used weather bug and it was off too. Not as bad as HTCs but still off.

I have the stock clock and weather widget. I removed it from my screen, and when I put it back, i chose current location and when i see it it only says my location with no weather data and when i tap on it it opens the clock app and I can't get it to open the weather app like it used to.

I can't find a way to get the original clock/weather widget, am I missing something, or is it missing?
I have clock/weather widget on my main screen but although I have auto sync enabled in settings it never updates and i have for instance the moon in the middle of the day unless I change it manually. I changet the sttings to update hourly but no luck.
