Android : Can I Indent A Selected Block Of Text In Eclipse 3.5.2?

I use TAB and Shift-Tab in Visual Studio to indent an entire selection. This does nothing in Eclipse, and I can't seem to find another way to do it.
Update: I wasn't really paying all that much attention to this initially and did not ask the question correctly.
I now realized that it is in XML files where TAB still does not indent a selection. I did not find a setting for this in the properties, so I assume it is not possible.

I have a problem as follows:
In my project i am having rich text editor options to apply for the edit text view. In that i applied font color,font names,font size options for user.But these options will apply for whole text available in edit text. But my problem is i want to apply user selected settings (like font color,size,font) for user selected text instead of Whole text. i want to apply the user selected font/color/size to the user selected text.How?
How to implement this .

I followed these tutorials to set up a Hello World Android app. But when I create a new java project I can't select a build target. It just says no targets available in the target selection box. I have confirmed that I am not having the UI issue described here (http://blog.rowancrane.com/2009/12/27/eclipse-new-android-project-cant-select-build-type-target), I actually have a message in the box saying there are no targets instead of an empty box. I also am using 1920x1080 res.
I'm guessing that eclipse is just not aware of my Android Targets? I installed them in the android SDK manager and see them listed under installed packages in the Android SDK manager (1.1, 1.6, ..., 2.2)

I have a question: How can I place a hyperlink WITHIN a text-block of normal text? I have some text and in the text I mention a URL and I want this URL to be in a different color, underlined and click-able.
I know hyperlinks in android can be placed with "Linkify"..and i have referred android docs page
Consider the same above paragraph with "android docs" i want to display in android.....

i install new version of eclipse and Android sdk , but when i run an android project i get this error

i try to solve the problem by following this , but i still get the same problem:

-Set Base local debugger port to "8601"
- Check the box that says "Use ADBHOST" and the value should be "127.0.0.1"
i am also tryng to reinstall android pluing for ecipse and even the android sdk , but i still get the same problem!

IDE : eclipse juno

I wonder if there is ability to replicate this feature from iOS :
In iOS you can turn on Accessibility function that add the "Speak" button to the "selection menu". And if you click, it would turn on Text To Speech engine and read selected text. Can I do the same thing in Android ?
PS: I assume that regular app could not modify "copy, paste, cut menu" so I probably need custom ROM. (I'm particularly interested Nexus 7 2013 solution, but I assume that solution should be universal because it is just modification to the "Selection menu" and add button)

Im having a hard time trying to indent .xml files using XMLSerializer. I've tried serializer.setFeature("http://xmlpull.org/v1/doc/features.html#indent-output", true);.
I've tried to append into FileWriter but the output is the 's and 's at the beginning of the file and not in the right place. I've tried setPropery with the proper URI etc.

I have this issue where when I am trying to reply to a text message and select the person's name to display the message but another person's name appears. I am not hitting the wrong person since the other person's name is nowhere on the screen. I've had 3 HTC EVO that did the same thing so im assuming this is software issue.

Since day 1 of getting this phone, I've been bombarded with text messages from TMZ (hollywood gossip company). I usually get anywhere from 5-20 text from them a day. Like I said, this has been an ongoing thing since day one and it's progressively getting worse. Ive never been to their site, no one has touched my phone and gone to their site nor text them. I keep a close watch over my phone at all times.
Is there any way I can block them? Its from "52966" TMZ News Alert.

Last night I thought I should try some different fonts on my phone and downloaded an app called MyFonts. I downloaded some fonts that I thought looked nice and tried them but the subtitle for my push notifications would be cut off so I changed it back to my old font (Rosemary). However, it still gets cut off! I already uninstalled MyFonts and tried to change any of the options that I thought could work change it back to normal, but to no avail. restore the size or indents for my push notifications back to normal. It's bothering the crap out of me!! My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 & with 4.3.

When I input text for SMS the text block goes blank when I flip the phone to landscape mode. Any ideas? When I flip it back to portrait the text appears again.

I somehow (knowingly or unknowingly) touched & dialled a number from an adult content app and then hung up. Since that day, I keep getting text msgs from different numbers, with lewd text & asking me to call a number (constant across all these sms-es). I block the number using MyVerizon number blocking service; but in 2-3 days I get similar text, asking me to call the same number, from a different number. I keep on blocking this new number (from where the text came) and they keep on sending same text from a different number. This keep on increasing my text bill.
If I reply to one of those texts saying "STOP", as the verizon customer care rep suggested, wouldn't that flag my number as LIVE and they'll start sending me more texts?How about using sms blocker apps? Again, question there is - do the sms blocker apps just delete spam msgs upon receiving and will I still incur the sms cost in my bill?

I try to select just a certain part of a message I've received, and it seems the only way to copy anything is with a long press in the text field. Unfortunately the only option for copying is copy message and not selected text. I was able to select certain text and copy only it in the browser, but not in SMS/MMS (sometimes I need to copy an address or query). Does anyone know how to change this so I can copy only selected text (partial message)?

Anyone know how to copy a url in a block of text then pasting it in the address bar?I tried with the default browser and dolphin and I managed to copy the url but couldn't find a way of pasting into the address bar.Anyone know how to do this? Is there an easy way? Am I just being thick?

Im kinda new on developing for Android, and i've only completed apps like - hello world, paint pot etc.
I know how to design the layout, but when it comes to the "activity" I alwats messes things up..
So now to my question - I'm creating a app to show my school schedule so I have 5 buttons (monday tuesday wednesday etc.)
Then when I click each button I want to get to another screen with todays schedule..
