I am a Vodafone customer and had the ota update. Everything was fine until today when I tried to watch videos on the YouTube app "there was a problem when playing" . any ideas ?

Am i the only one who cant watch the music videos on youtube? when i search for them on my htc, they don't come up within the search results, but when i click the link in my htc browser i can watch them. how can i make the youtube application show the videos i search for? and i am logged in to youtube as well

View 2 Replies View RelatedUsing the Facebook app, some music artists post videos of concert footage etc. When I click on the video to watch it, my Incredible will ask me if I want to use Internet or YouTube to watch it. Unfortunately neither works for me.
When I choose Internet, YouTube's website pops up with the video and a play button. When I click the play button it does nothing. When I choose to open it via the YouTube app, I get an error saying that it can't play the file.
Is there a way to watch embedded YouTube videos that people post on Facebook via the app?

My internet seems to be working although it seems very slow (thought it should be alot faster). Is there something I need to set up to be able to view the videos? I've tried using the youtube widget and also using Dolphin HD but with no luck.

I cant watch any videos on the internet with my evo. It sometimes loads like 30 seconds of video and then it says cant connect server, other times it just sits at the black screen with the loading bar circle and then after a while it says cant connect to server.

I read that the youtube app is 'broke' and tried going to youtube by browser which also wouldn't play the video..
This made me think i was missing some sort of codec so i started converting mp4s on my computer and found that only converting to [H.264.MP4] works for my samsung.
So im wondering if theres some sort of codec i need to install on my phone like flash/divx/ k-lite codec pack to be able to watch youtube videos?
Does anyone know of any way possible to watch .avi videos on the incredible?

I was using the Google navigation on 3G network with the phone connected to a 500mA car charger. After 1hr, the battery dropped 20%. Anyone knows if a 1000mA car if enough?? Tonight, I was watching a Youtube HD video on 4G network (2/3 bars on 4G) with the phone connected to a 1000mA USB wall charger. After 10min, the battery dropped 2%...Well, even 1000mA cannot compensate the consumption of the battery. The power consumption of this phone is ridiculous. Something must be wrong with the system/circuit design.
