Is there an app to download you tube videos?? i used to use Dolphin Browsed and Tube Droid, but Dolphin removed this feature, and my Tube Droid app doesn't seem to work anymore. i did a quick search before creating this post and did not find much that was recently answered or posted.

Ok so recently (7/23 I believe) You Tube changed something with their videos and my Dolphin HD browser no longer let's me download videos (Gives a Unknown file name and Download Unsuccessful). I have not updated either of my Dolphin browsers (I have HD and the old one) since they updated it to not allow that feature. My question is Werther or not there is a work around for this yet? I understand that Google is the one blocking this but I know someone will find a way around this. If anyone knows of a new free program to use please let me know.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMaybe I'm late, but I just discovered that the dolphin browser is able to download you tube vidz to your SD. Even if you use the default browser, just having dolphin browser installed should enable it. Try it below (also works by going to you tube.com).

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been browsing you tube with 2.1 and found that most of official music video is filtered in you tube mobile. and I was informed that this is general case for you tube mobile regardless of which handset you use. When I search in non-mobile you tube for videos, I can find them but I can't play them. What happens in froyo when we get flash support? Do we get unlimited access to you tube videos or no luck. I am assuming we can watch those because of flash support but correct me if I am wrong.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI know this has been asked about the Motorola Droid, but I was wondering the same thing about the HTC Desire, Uploading you tube videos via 3g network. When I've taken a video using my phone, I have the option to share it by sending it to You Tube (annoyingly this creates another Google account on my phone, but never mind). More annoying is the fact that it waits until I'm connected to a wi-fi network before allowing me to upload it. Surely if I want to use my data allowance to upload videos to You Tube, that's my business, but I can't find a setting that allows me to change this. According to HTC, this is a change that T-Mobile must have made. I'm not convinced by this, but I'd like to know what other people have found, and whether there are any easy ways around it. Still being fairly new to Android, I don't fancy rooting the phone. I'm using Android 2.1.

Besides TubeMate, is there any Android app (or any method on Android) to download youtube videos AUTOMATICALLY? I want to have the videos download while I sleep so it is available to me when I wake up and get ready. Right now I manually download some videos using TubeMate (when I remember).
I did have another setup using "youtube-dl" program on linux and setting up a cron job to download the latest video from a channel. I would then upload this to dropbox and then redownload it on my Android using FolderSync app.

I am able to take video and view it on my Eris, but if I e-mail it to my fiance's Droid, he can't view it. I tried e-mailing the video to myself, but when I try to download it from Gmail, it says "unable to fetch attachment" How can I send video to someone else? Is there a way to change the extension?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am so frustrated with Double Twist. I downloaded the samsung drivers and double twist immediately fount my captivate. I downloaded some of my itunes music. While I was trying to download some of my video, Double Twist went blank and could no longer find my captivate. I have redownloaded the drivers, but the captivate is not being found.

I have a old motorola g3 phone (however it is for verizon ). I can no longer download my photos and videos to my pc. the pc no longer lists it on my cumputer when I plug it in. I do however hear the appropriate sounds it makes when I plug it into my usb.( hardware insert.wav and hardware remove.wav)

My friend just got an iphone 4 and I noticed that over wi-fi his you tube streams extremely crisp video, I'm assuming it's 720p. On my Milestone, using wi-fi and HQ setting, it's still rather blurry and definitely not at the same level as my friends. Is there a way I can stream 720p ?

I chalked that up to YouTube having HD options now like when I searched (please don't judge, it was a favor for my fiancee)
