I have been using LP Plus and absolutely love it, transformed the phone IMO. I am however, having problems with the bookmark display in that it is not displaying the web pages in the widget as it should be, it just comes up with the name and a standard image. I have tried just going into the page but it doesn't work.

When I first got my Desire I used the stock internet browser. I added a bookmark for netcarshow.com. After a while I started using Dolphin HD which I found to be far better, and started adding several bookmarks to Dolphin. Fast forward a month or so and I'm still using Dolphin HD and have been using LauncherPro for the past couple of weeks.
The problem is when I add the LauncherPro Bookmarks widget to a homescreen. It only shows the bookmark for netcarshow.com; my saved bookmarks in Dolphin are nowhere to be seen. They all show when using the browser, but not in the LauncherPro widget. I've looked through every setting for Android, Dolphin and LauncherPro but can't find a way to import/export the bookmarks. Also used Astro to look for bookmarks folders (to copy/paste) and viewed the SD card using USB on my PC, but unable to find any stored bookmark data. The LauncherPro widget is excellent but I can't figure out how to get it to display the Dolphin bookmarks, any ideas?
I have the Chrome bookmarks widget on my homescreen, and the first spot is taken up by the "Mobile Bookmarks" folder (see screenshot). This is really annoying. When I first started using the widget, this was not the case, after a while it just appeared there.
Anyway to avoid this? Maybe even a way to change the order of the bookmarks?
If not, is there any way to remove the "Mobile bookmarks", "Desktop bookmarks" and "Other bookmarks" folders in Chrome so I could just have my bookmarks in one place?
I'm on a Sony Xperia Z1, Android 4.3, not rooted.
I decided to try out LauncherPro and I quite like it but one big annoyance is that there's no longer a widget for toggling mobile data on/off. Any widget that would do that on the market?
PS: I tried Android on-off widget but it only changed access points or something and that's not what I'm looking for.
I like the HTC ones, but like something that takes up half the space (ie. half a page). I've tried scanning the market, but have been unable to find anything.

View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently, the weather part of the clock widget has not been displaying the right city. the city is very close to where i live though. it is currently showing "east san gabriel valley" but i actually live in "diamond bar". these are both little cities (very close to each ohter) in southern california. is this caused by the cell tower that the phone is connected to? if i enable wifi, the city does show diamond bar.

I have a full page (4x4) to fill, and would like something that shows either a scrolling list or a collection of thumbnails of the sites. The stock Android widget only shows 6 thumbnails (non scrolling) and the HTC Bookmarks widget will only show 6 bookmarks, 5 of which are links to Orange webpages that STILL show after I deleted them! I have a fairly short list of about 10 bookmarks, stored by Dolphin, and I want quick access to them from my homescreen without placing individual icons.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am working on an app that uses webview for a help section.The help section is loaded from an external site, that is specifically designed for mobile phones.There are a series of 5 pages, with a simple next/ back navigation.When the first page loads, it loads perfectly, filling the entire area of the screen.When you click next, the page is now smaller with a large white gap around it (right and bottom), when I click back to the first page, this page now is displaying the same way (gap around it).I have tried setting body/table/container divs to 100% wide, and this continues to happen.However it works perfectly on any desktop browser.

I go back and forth between the stock internet browser that came with the Evo and Xscope Browser. I noticed two things, on that it doesn't display animation on GIFs. I wanted to know, is there a plug-in one can download or a browser that would run the animation on the page? The reason I ask is because right now I can�t tell the difference between a JPEG and GIF on the page when it loads up. Its only when I decide to download it that it displays the extension. My second question is about playing Quicktime files on trailer websites that run QT. I can�t play these back. Is there a plug-in or browser that I can use to play those videos on my Evo?

Looks like the bookmarks within the Bookmarks Widget are posted in the order that you surf and are NOT subject to any type of sorting. However the bookmarks within the Bookmarks Application launched from the browser's menu are sortable. Is there any way to make these two independent bookmarks list sync with one another. I know there's an application out there to manually sort the widget's bookmarks but I want them sync and match.

When I add an event by selecting a day in the future, it opens an agenda but the start/end date is always the current date. Anybody else with a DX have this problem? Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a known issue that will be fixed in the future? I checked the LP forum and didn't see this issue.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI thought this was an issue w/ DroidLight update, then I assumed it was something after I downloaded PowerAmp, now I have come to realize that it is most likely either Widget Locker or LauncherProPlus. But here is the case.
After launching DroidLight, then clicking the "off" mode, then exiting to the homescreen, I go to lock my phone by the Usual Power press on my Droid X, and the phone shuts off only to have the light turn on a few seconds later on its own. This same process happens if the last thing I use is something like PowerAmp, even if I force close, it will turn on by itself after shut off.
It looks just like the Lpp calendar widget, and works great so far. Do the update if you're using this home app, and you'll get the Facebook widget under Lpp widgets.

The one thing I'm missing is some sort of widget or shortcut to toggle 4G on my Evo. I've searched the market and frankly, I'm not paying a buck for a simple widget. It might be worth a quarter to me, but not a dollar. Ideally, I'd love something like the notification setup from the Epics touch wiz which would be worth some $$$ to me. Anyone know a free or cheap alternative?

View 15 Replies View RelatedI noticed that the stock bookmark widget comes preloaded with several bookmarks. These bookmarks also have thumbnails associated with them. After I added my own personal bookmarks to the widget, I noticed I did not get a thumbnail of the site associated with the bookmark. Is there any way to add a bookmark and also get the thumbnail? I use Dolphin HD as my default browser.
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust thought I'd share that I downloaded Dolphin HD and it really is quite different from the stock browser. Seems faster, has nice features for eBay and Amazon, and just like how it handles. Maybe because it's different.
Question for Dolphin vets: I use the bookmarks widget as one of my homescreens, and when I click a bookmark, it does it via Dolphin. Fine. But when I click on the little globe at the top, it defaults to the stock browser. How do change this to be Dolphin? I've looked under Settings > manage apps, but nothing really asked me about which browser to make default.
