Unable To Upload App
Oct 11, 2011I am trying to upload an app to android market but wasn't able to. When i select the apk file and click upload. It does nothing and after 5 to 10 mins i get an error message "something went wrong".

Sep 7, 2010I'm having trouble uploading pictures I've taken on my DX to facebook through the "Quick Upload" option.I got a few uploaded, so I know it works, but now everytime I try, the status bad fills up all the way to "Uploading 100%" then it stalls before giving me the error "Can't send response now.Try again later."I've tried turning Wi-Fi on or off, but on both Wi-Fi and 3G it's not working.Thoughts?

Sep 15, 2010Can anyone possibly help me out with this? Tech support from verizon couldnt figure out why its not working. Im logged in my youtube account and im connected to my wifi at my house. But the problem that im having is that everytime i go to upload the video, It continues to say Waiting to Retry.. It keeps saying that for like 15 minutes until eventually it says Failed Network Error.. The wifi is working fine when trying to browse internet. I deleted the cache and data in youtube as well.. I just cant understand what would be causing this, but its really annoying.. I really wish someone could help me please.. I dont know what else to do. I even created a new youtube account to sync with my gmail, and that didnt work either

Or better yet, I for one am relatively irritated that I can't email or upload non-picture/video files that I might have on my SD card, so I'd like to create a provider of some sort to enable the ability to upload or email any arbitrary file. Jun 9, 2010I'm trying to test my cam corder by uploading to my youtube account. after i login and try to upload it says "failed to retrieve account information" really fast and disappears. Its only a 10 second clip.I linked my gmail and old yahoo account and its still not letting me do it. I also have a hard time getting youtube videos to play. it sometimes will through the native app but not always. maybe its bad 3g reception. i have around 2 bars

May 12, 2010So just purchased the incredible, coming from a BB Storm. I'm blown away by the picture quality but I still don't understand the best way to save/manage photo's on an online site. I know there's Picassa, Flikr and Photobucket. Has anyone tried multiple sites and determined the best tool to save pictures. My goal is to be able to easily upload them from my phone (without having to connect to PC) and share the albums online. I've done a little research and it looks like the Photobucket app might be the way to go.

After i get the connection i use it to upload the data. Is i use http everything is ok but when i try https i get the following exception -

The strange thing is that i don't get exception all the time. When i try to upload small files (200K) it's working O.K. or it's crashing very rare but when i try to upload bigger ones (more than 1MB) i get the exception almost every time.
HTC EVO 4G :: Can't Upload Large Videos Via 3G Or 4G
Oct 5, 2010I have done some searching on this problem and the consensus is that there is some sort of a cap on uploading videos to Youtube that are larger than about 10 mb. If you try to upload a larger video Evo then says it is waiting to use WiFi to do the upload. This seems like a Sprint cap to me to prevent their network from having to handle the bandwidth of uploading anything but small videos. (what do we pay the extra $10 for? That's for another discussion.).SO, now that I am rooted, does anyone know how to change the settings and remove the cap so that I can upload larger videos via 3G or 4G without having to use a WiFi connection? I am rooted and on stock 3.29.651.5 Android 2.2. I do not want to use flash a custom ROM just for this ability.

Jul 3, 2010I just ran a speed test on my 4g in york pennsylvania with one bar and i had 342kb/s. i did not realize how fast it really was. even thought the upload speed for some reason drops to like 50 some. my 3g speeds average is around 150 with a similar upload speed. WOW am i too excited or is this incredible for a phone? also my friend at work just texted me and claims his GayPhone4 is faster than mine we shall find out when i get there.

Aug 3, 2010I took a video on the DINC video camera. Tried uploading to Youtube. Got a message that its waiting for a WIFI connection to do so. Problem is that all teh WIFIs in my hood are password protected. any ideas to work around this? Maybe my settings are off? I did transfer a crappy piss poor video that I shot with a Blackberry 8330 that I put on my SD card to Youtube with no problems.

Aug 4, 20101.When I try to upload a video from my phone to Youtube it says that I can't upload files bigger than 1gig. The file I am trying to upload is only 124 mb. So what is the problem? (it was recorded in 720) I had to download some crappy 3pg to avi converter so that I could upload it.
2. My second question, is why is it so choppy? Here is video of my 14 month old son eating a lime for the first time. Sadly, the video cuts in and out. Played like this right after the recording on the phone.

My question is how to write a Service to handle this: I want to upload in a background thread (or process not sure of the precise wording), so that the user can go to other applications without interrupting the upload, and show a notification / kill the thread when the upload is complete.I'm guessing it should be a Service, with a Notification to show the user what's going on: but should it be a LocalService or a RemoteService, as per the API examples? And do I need to call a new thread once I start the service, or do all services by definition run in a different thread?
