I am using fresh 2.0d and would like to "flash" to this new lockscreen here:

To install the rom I had to wipe the whole phone by going to the factory settings, which gets me to that menu asking if I want to flash. I do not want to reset my phone this time, just flash to this lockscreen. How do I do that?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI know this has probably been discussed several places but I cant seem to decipher the information that I need. I use to use a "clear" lockscreen on fresh 1.5. I recently flashed to fresh 2.1.2 and I found that the grey arch is back on my lockscreen. what Im wondering is if there is anyway that I can get rid of that grey arch WITHOUT using a vanilla style lockscreen (I like the simplicity of just the clock and which ever picture I choose)

I see the wallpaper on my memory card named htc_wallpaper_01. However when I went to a graphic site I downloaded the picture I wanted to use and then I changed the name to htc_wallpaper_01 yet my default lock screen wallpaper doesnt change.

View 8 Replies View Relatedwhen i had the thearmo theme on fresh 2.0d, the vanilla lockscreen was different..you could press menu as many times as you wanted and it would NOT unlock (which is exactly what i want since i always have my phone in my pocket) you had to swipe...i took off the theme and installed vanilla lockscreen and if you hit menu twice it unlocks..i installed DC rom and same thing with the lockscreen (even tried a few themes that came on the dc updater) is there a setting for this or was this only possible with the thearmo theme? basically im looking for a lockscreen that you have to swipe to unlock (i dont want password or draw a pattern)

I have tried a lot of patches and metamorphs all locking my phone and sending into force closes and boot loops. My question is is it possible to change the vanilla wallpaper on Fresh? Is there a way to find the wallpaper used and change it? If not I'll live with it. It looks much better then sense with fresh.
View 1 Replies View RelatedStarted with EXTBlue 09sept, had the phone freeze up a couple times when exiting sleep mode. Flashed a nightly over that, problem persisted. Also had it randomly restart a few times. From there, started over by wiping everything, and flashing a nightly (091710 I think). Still had the problem, found the so-called "6.1" update, wiped again and went with that. I still have the original problems, and now it's also freezing up on the camera screen. Otherwise happy with the performance and such, any suggestions?

I am running fresh1.1 and wanted the stock taskbar. So I flashed a stock them over it then a rosie from fresh1.1 to get the launcher back. got eveything I want except the lockscreen fresh came with. I found 2. One on xda but the link is broken. The 2nd from the geekforme site but it puts the taskbar back to the fresh one. Any one know where i can get one that doesn't do that?

i tried using fresh's "kitchen" but it says on the website that kitchen will not support 2.1 roms what do i do?
Im using the stock music app on the phone when im done with it sometimes i just use advanced task killer free to just quit the music player but when i do so the music player is still my lockscreen i just wanna know if anyone else has had this problem or is this a isolated occurrence.

I can't seem to find any step by steps on flashing a new Rom. I don't understand what making a nandroid means. View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm wanting to flash back to 2.0d but didn't save my nandroid for that particular ROM. I'm currently running 2.1.1, and have been for some time now. While I like 2.1.1, 2.0d just seemed to run better for me. My question is do I need to wipe before I flash or can I just flash 2.0d over 2.1.1? I didn't wipe when going from 2.0d to 2.1.1 and everything worked fine but I wasn't sure if I could do the same thing going the other way.

View 16 Replies View RelatedIn order to root, I've got to have Flash_image in the system/bin directory. I don't have that file in the directory. I have the flash_image file from the RUU 2.1 leak I installed yesterday, but due to having no root access, I cannot copy the file into the system/bin folder.
I tried rooting and got stuck at flash_image recovery recovery-RA-heroc-v1.5.2.img because it kept saying "flash_image not found"
So my EVO was damaged..well the back-light does not come on anymore(I think due to moisture).I've tried RICE and other Drying technique...no fix So 'm gonna put in a claim.Knowing I will probably not have a phone for a little bit, I bought a used Hero for a backup phone.(It will do for now, got it cheap).It came with the latest .6 Patched rom.I downgraded to .5 and rooted it.What's a good flash rom to try with 2.1 fixes wifi and mostly everything working? As most I wanted my phone a little bit faster/cleaner and more control(why I rooted). I still do like some HTC things but not all of it, can I install some of it back when I flash to a new Rom? I'm sorta new to this and first time Rooting. I'm still not sure how you flash new Rom.
