Nov 15, 2010I bought a new Sony Ericsson X10 xperia mini pro.. it has a 2GB memory card..but since i want to expand the memory i bought a new 8 GB memory card and inserted it..and when i restart the phone, the phone shows SD card removed. Insert a new one. And definitely the SD card is not corrupted since it works fine on the other phones. If the problem is with my phone then it should not be detecting the 2 GB card but it detects only that card and not the new one.

Nov 27, 2010Since last 4-5 days, I am seeing that whenever I connect my phone to my laptop (using usb), the phone restart and during this time I will have access to memory card for few seconds (30 sec), after that the card gets unmounted (from PC) and I will see a warning symbol (yellow triangle) on phone's notification bar. So i am unable to copy data to and fro from my phone. All this trouble started since I upgraded to 2.1 Note: I have checked the memory card by putting it to another phone and it works fine.

I am a bit confused because in the specs on the SE webiste it says that the memory can be expanded up to 16 GB. If MicroSD has a maximum storage capacity of 2 GB and the phone can't handle MicroSDHC, how do I get more memory?

Nov 1, 2010My Xperia X10 mini is currently completely useless.
The symptoms:
I turn it on and it gets as far as the splash screen which says sony ericsson and shows the SE symbol and it gets no further. No error messages are displayed and it remains in that state until the battery runs out. The only action I can find is to press the power button and the middle button for a second or two to perform a reset but this results in it rebooting and getting to the exact same point. Plugging into a computer to charge up seems to charge it but when the power is sufficient it boots up and gets to the same point. PC Companion asks for me to mount the phone which is obviously impossible as i have no interface.
Possible causes:
Before this happened I put the phone into airplane mode. After doing this it displayed a message related to running out of space. This was strange as i haven't added any applications or even been using it as I am abroad. I deleted some data from a couple of applications that I don't use and restarted to the behaviour described above. The applications were user applications and completely unrelated to the system. Even a master reset if this is possible without being able to boot up the phone?

Nov 4, 2010I was having that "My phone does not turns on" problem, then I decided to repair the software. Using the PC Companion I've done all the requested steps. The problem is: when I try to restore the backup I've made I get the following error: "Could not restore files".
Even when I choose only to restore contacts, the "Applications" is also included in the restore list. Then the Contact percentage goes to 100%, while restoring, and the error message appears. I even have the backup .sbf file.

Dec 3, 2010I still have the songs I had b4 I've downloaded the 2.1 OS; when I look into the X10 Mini, the "AVAILABLE ROOM" seems to have gotten bigger; but I also have many times in which the phone says: "no SD card found" or "no available storage" and such, regardless all my songs are there(not sure where!), and the "SD and storage" still shows the amount of memory like - Total room: 3.67GB and Available room: 3.11GB; considering I only had about 1.70GB left pryor to the 2.1 OS update!
