Well, I'm going to subscribe to the 'Webs Bolt-On' which gives me 200MB of free 'unlimited' web browsing each month, When I have this Bolt-On active, will I be able to use all stuff internet related on my phone, such as YouTube, Web-browsing, Facebook, Twitter and applications that require an internet connection including the Android Market without been connected to a router or internet source?

I hav more than 1200 frnds in facebook and the contacts is taking up more than 21MB of space in my phone memory. I just want to sync my google contacts. As soon as I log in facebook in timescape, the contacts start downloading from facebook.
Is there any way that i can unsync my facebook and twitter in my contacts so tat i hav only my google contacts in my phone? Xperia X10 mini pro. Android Eclair (2.1)
I'm with Vodafone and I'm allowed 500 mbs of browsing and I don't want to exceed that amount coz it will cost a bomb! Anyone know how?

I tried having an unsecured connection but in vain. Anyone else facing similar issue or have a solution for this issue?
View 5 Replies View RelatedPages are taking up to a minute to load. I normally switch to another page until it's loaded but if i want to quickly do something it's a different matter. It's been pretty slow from the start but i was just downloading apps. Now i'm using the web more it's become more obvious. Half the time i just give up! Is this due to Android 1.6 or is web browsing generally slow? Is there a faster browser than the default one or any settings that would improve the browsing experience?

It contains numbers which seems to be a problem for the phone as i had the same issue with my google account, i had to change my password to only letters to log in. I don't really want to change my password to letters as it will be less secure. Any ideas?

But now, when I try to post a new message, it just says: "can't update twitter".
The weird thing is, it does update twitter and I can receiver updates from people I follow.
This means that the account and twitter is working, but I just can't update my own status.
Then I just Seesmic, to see if it's a problem with my account. But that just works fine.
The main difference between timescape working and then not, is that I was on holiday in America.
There, it worked fine. Then I got back in the Netherlands and all of the sudden I can't update my status anymore.
While in America, my X10 updated the time wherever I went.
Back home, it didn't update the time automatically, so I did it manually.
That's the only thing I can think of that changed.
Does anyone know anything I can do? (besides restoring the phone).
I don't know if i'm the only one with this problem, if not, there must be some sort of solution for it.
Can anyone tell that why my facebook emails don't show 'sent by facebook for Android'?
View 22 Replies View RelatedI've bought a Xperia X10 a few weeks ago with great expectations, but it lasted with a huge disappointment! Whatever I guess I have to wait for 2.1 update but I am not sure it will satisfy anybody. As I wrote in title there are some serious and annoying problems, I cant sign in my twitter account on the phone because of login and connection problem (however I didnt get any problems at signing in Facebook and Gmail accounts).
Second problem is "missing" Android Market application on the phone. Anyway I found the official .apk (vending.apk) from the net and loaded to my phone but it didnt work and caused freezing and error messages as "not responding / force to close" etc. Also I cant reach to Market site from Browser, no way!
The last and stupid problem is "reseting and deleting" Browser setting and bookmarks without any reason or action like hardreset or even turn on/off the phone! As an example: I set homepage as google.com and later on I checked ok! but for the second use after a couple of time, when I started the browser it opens with SE Wap Page as default and removed my homepage from settings. Also phone deletes the Bookmarks which I add.
I'm new here and I just the Xperia X10. Is there anyway to get notifications when someone sends me a message, or post on my wall, etc?

It's really annoying me, I even told facebook not to link up at all when I first started the application to avoid problems like this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI attend to this error in notifications several times each day. I'm not asking it to update mind you. It's trying this all of it's smarty pants x10i self. When I actually do bring up the facebook application it acts ok. The one thing this x10i can't do is upgrade to adobe flashplayer. There are places that tell me I don't have video on my phone in order to view the news clip or whatever. It's not a big deal to me and don't really need it. It would be nice to turn off the facebook "unable to update" in my notifications, without removing facebook entirely.

However, there have been no updates to facebook posts in Timescape for 2 days - setting is set to update per hour. If I click through one of the old posts in timescape it shows me a Facebook login screen - but whenever I type in my Facebook login it flicks back the emailaddress/phone number to show my phone number rather than my username!?

Now however when I attempt to upload a photo I get an error message saying an error has occurred when uploading the photo and the browser then shuts. View 7 Replies View RelatedI have had the phone a few days now and I cannot connect to facebook thru Timescape.The Facebook application on the phone though works fine, just have issues when trying to connect do it via Timescape. If i click on a FB notification and i want to open it, it prompts me to the login screen. I confirm login with the correct details and then it just hangs there on the login. You can see the toolbar up the top go to the correct address and the progress bar goes in green and fills up but it doesnt proceed to the next page, it just hangs on the login screen.
I have checked my APN settings and I have 2 of them set up by default on the phone. I am with Vodafone in Aus and I checked their APN settings on a android site and there is only one for Internet and MMS. Should I delete one of them?
Is anyone else having an issue with facebook within timescape? When it tries to sync for updates with facebook an error pops up in the notification bar and says "could not update from facebook server unavailable"
The interesting thing is it actually does still update the timescape and can still post updates to FB Tried a factory reset of my phone and the issue is still there
Is there any way to get timescape to open the facebook app instead of the web browser when a facebook "leaf" is touched. I have it set that Twidroid will open for twitter "leaves" but I can't figure out how to get it to use the Facebook app.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Timescape worked fine, but 13 days ago doesn't sync with the Facebook. I get a message: "Could not connect to the internet!" I tried with 3G and WIFI connection too. Everything works fine (for example the Twitter in Timescape or browser so the internet connection is available), only the Facebook refresh doesn't work. I tryed clear the timescape settings, and reconfig the timescape, tryed remove the Facebook account and re set, but the problem is the same. 4 days ago, I updated the phone software for the newest (R2BA026 1.1.31). I made a factory reset and made a repair with the PC Companion. I tryed remove the sony ericsson app, from my Facebook account. Still I have the problem, I can't fix it I didn't change anything, when the problem starts.
