I want to reset all of the handcent settings / options.
i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but the settings are still the same??
anyone know how to reset the settings?

Questions:
1. How do you perform a "Hard Reset" on the X10?
2. Storage:
A. I know we can store items on the MicroSD card via the Mass Storage route or by storing directly from the PC to the card while in the PC. But how do we store items to the MicroSD card while the card is inserted into the phone?
B. Is it possible to store Apps and other files from the Market to the MicroSD card? Can Apps run from the card or are they required to be stored internally? I would like to use my MicroSD card for ALL storage and leave the internal memory alone.
C. How can one determine the class of the MicroSD card? I have looked at the 4 cards I have and the only info on them externally is the size of the card and the word MicroSD.
D. Finally, which is the best class to use in a phone such as the X10?
I reset it to factory settings using the normal procedure, but things like the photos are still there. How do I get rid of them D:?
View 2 Replies View RelatedEarlier in 1.6 after I look for a contact and view it and press back. It used to come to that position itself but now whenever I press back after viewing a contact, it goes back to the initial position of contacts (i.e. the contacts starting with letter A).
Example in 2.1, if I view a contact (say named "xyz") and press back, it takes me to the starting list of contacts but no such problem was there in 1.6 version. That is after I press back, it took me to the same list of contacts I was viewing earlier (in this case xyz,xy** etc.)
I needed to doto save any picture messages that I received. I have since yesterday tried to download the application handcent sms and every time it says that download was not successful, any ideas on what further I need to do?
View 1 Replies View Relatedi am unable to zoom pictures using the phone camera.. mostly all mobiles can zoom using the volume key. but it doesnt happen this way in xperia.. saddest part is that i cant find any option over the screen to zoom my pictures. is there no option at all wid this mobile??? or is there an option of downloading some camera features like these? i dont know. m styuc

I was wondering if there is a way to turn off the default one so only handcent is in use.
I updated my x10a to 2.1 last week and i noticed sms and handcent keep freezing up. I uninstalled handcent and it's still doing it. my x10a is Rogers branded and rooted.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOkay so I know about the regular master reset process through the phone, and I also know about the master reset through the PC Companion. I have locked myself out of the phone with the pattern lock, and when it asks for the Google account it will not accept my username and password. I have reset the password through Google and still nothing. I tried to perform the master reset through PC Companion but when I get to the update screen it says internet connection failed. I have called the internet provider and they could not fix the issue. I just don't feel like having to send the phone off to SE because I really don't trust it at all. If anyone knows an alternate method of performing a master reset on the SE Xperia X10a please let me know.

But i do like the widget on the homescreen, were it shows the SE logo (when it's not setup). Unfortunatly my phone activated the app while in my pocket and the SE logo dissapeared . Is there anyway just to reset it? make it show the Logo again ?
View 7 Replies View Relatedi have handcent as my default sms app which is alot better then the stock one. When i get a sms i have the pop up enabled (after you unlock the handset). but not to show the keyboard. This works ok but when i press the white square to reply - the text you received does not move to the top of the screen so you cant see what your typing or you cant press send as there hidden by the keyboard. The only way you can see that is when you have finished is to press the back button (that closes the keyboard) and then you can also press the send button. If i have the keboard to pop up automatically when i get a txt....i only see the top line of writing / send button!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Handcent from the Android market. This is a great application for sending sms's and mms's, but when I send a message it is delivered twice. That is because the default message application is still installed on the phone and the message is therefor automatically send through Handcent and the default message app. Can I delete the default message app from my phone without corrupting the software on the phone? I don't want to implement the factory reset on my phone, have too many apps that I don't want to loose or reinstall.

Very strange, phone has been working fine. Battery was fully charged this morning after it's overnight charge and phone was working. I went to work and took the phone out during my mid-morning break and it's dead. Attached it to the charger that I keep at work and still nothing after a few minutes. I took the battery and the sim card out. Battery voltage is 4VDC which is fine. Reinstalled the battery and tried turning on the phone with and without the sim card,, nothing from the phone, not every the status LED. Is there a hidden reset switch somewhere or is it pouched? The phone is only 2 months old so I'm sure my carrier will replace it if it comes to that, at which point I'll have to decide whether or not to replace it with another Xperia and or go black or white. Mine is black, but I really like the looks of the phone in white. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

So after turning off "adjust automatically" about a week ago in the display settings I have noticed a huge battery improvement. My question is what is your brightness set at? 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full? Just trying to see where most people are with there settings and how the battery has been with it. Right now I'm around 1/4 but wondering if anyone set on about 1/2 or more has noticed battery drainage. Also, will the 2.1 update fix the battery problem?

The files are mainly divx encoded but I have been converting to mpeg4 to play them in Mediascape. The video is skipping / jumping even though it is not at a super-high resolution, bitrate etc. Does anyone know what the best settings are to get video that's watchable? The Jet would play divx files no problem at all and I assumed the X10 would be at least as good...
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just love my X10 mini but have problems with mms, if I send it just goes to queue and get message "unable to send" and if someone send me one I just get an empty message and it says to download, and then if I try to download it says "cannot be downloaded". When I go to settings - settings download - choose Tmobile it just says could not download settings. Retry? I've called already to Tmobile support and spent 2 hours with them and they just couldn't help me as they don't know this phone.
