Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Need An Application Similar To Google Earth

I am from India, I searched Google earth on market...but its showing nothing in it ....so please tell me the best application which is similar to Google earth, which can show my current position and also help me to record the track where i have passed!
And also is there any globe app...where i can get an animated globe which i move with my finger and then zoom the desired area which i wish to see!

I'm generally happy with my X2, but just got an annoying issue going on and cant find any documentation for it. I was chatting in MSN and somehow clicked some buttons by mistake. It activated somesort of word-guessing-system. I'm sorry, I don't even understand what it is. But basically it will popup a small bar where it asks to Add word? or something. I thought its spellchecker or something like that.. Anyway, I don't remember what i pressed and there is no option in MSN for it. Using Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro.

I have had my Sony Ericsson Experia X10 for 4 months now and are happy with it although I seem to be continuously charging the battery? I haven't really looked at that many Android apps but I can't find a decent office type program similar to Microsoft Office or Open office to use excel, or similar office documents whilst I'm away from my laptop? Also are there any Krazy kiwis living out there using the great Android networks living in the UK, or even better in Bristol? I would love to hear from you soon

But now I'm on 2.1, it doesn't do anything of the sort.
e.g. let's say i had sent out a text stating; "Hi John, I will be at yours next week - you can email me at berty@bassett.com if you need me to bring anything"
so a few days later I'd start a new text. By the time I'd wrote "Hi" the system would offer me the next word as "John" - it had kind of learned what it thought I might want to say next. This was incredibly useful when entering email addresses into form pages.
Now, when I type "Hi", it offers stupid suggestions like "Hit, High, Hill" and other completely unrelated junk.
If I enable predictive texts, it auto fixes words that don't need auto fixing. I sent a text to my sister saying "lolzalot" and by the time I realised what had gone on, it had instead replaced my word with "locally"
Why is this new way of doing things so poor compared to the old 1.6 way? Or at least, how can I get it back to being like it should be.

On the applications screen, (the one which you drag up from the bottom of the home screen), is there any way to create folders there and re-organise the position of apps? I know that you can create folders on the home screens, but this isn't what I want to do. I would love to be able to create a folder that I can dump all of the programs I will never use but which Sony will not allow me to delete, (you know the ones - moxier etc!!)

I posted this under applications and got zero response. Anyone here care to share their views? For the last few days I have disabled task killer, and since then haven't killed a single app. First day the phone got leggy and I had to reboot, but since then no issues. Ive installed a memory meter and it got right down to 10% available memory before it got leggy. now it averages about 35% free memory (92mb) Ive read that frequently killing background apps is not really good for the operation of the phone? Should I Install a Task Manager/Killer on My Android Device? This sounds true, or am I being suckered into the media, Should I rather leave all the apps running in the background? When I did have Task panel running most of the apps where on the auto kill list, but when ever I open task panel, all these apps are listed under active apps, but are all highlighted in red. Any idea as to why? Are these apps actually being killed or is this whole app killer a farce?

I have the sony ericsson xperia 10 and last night I must have fallen asleep on it as not the application bar, which usually sits at the bottom, is now on the side of the phone and I cannot seem to change it! Also all my application icons have no words under them! How do I change the application bar as this is really bugging me?

how to close an application? Do you just push the back button to close applications? I wonder because my old phone (Nokia 5800) allows one to have more than one application open at the same time, and it has a function to enable one to check what's running and to close anything that you don't want to run. Is it the same on the X10? If it's only possible to have one app open at the same time, that answers my question, I suppose - if I open another application, the previous one will be closed. That seems to be the case, but I checked the other day what was consuming so much battery and it turned out to be a game (Labyrinth Lite) which seemed to be running in the background. I've deleted it now, but I'd like to have a clearer understanding of how to check easily what is open.

I am not a fan of the social networking sites, Facebook, Twitter etc.The X10 has a facebook application which I will NEVER use but for that reason I would like to remove it from the phone.Can anyone advise how to do it please as all I can get is to force close and not uninstall.

I have a Xperia X10i which my father bought from overseas the phone is just fine evryway but recently i got to know that there should be an Application Matrket tab which is missing in my X10.Now as I bought it from overseas I can't just go and ask the dealer for help..I can't install any applictions in my phone.

Eight Issue Camera responsiveness, is there a way to fix this app or will it be glitch until the update and/or even after the update? Is it just my phone or every time I attempt to take a picture it takes quite sometime after I take the picture the actual moment the picture is captured? not to mention the lag between pictures, the lack of burst mode, and another thing that is quite annoying why does the image in the camera gets so DARK when you press the camera button to focus? the image on the screen should represent the actual photo your capturing not some dark version of it one or two seconds after you click/touch the screen to capture the picture.

Situation: Second day of owning X8. So I'm downloading some Apps and one of them took forever, the download arrow was showing activity all through the night. (I was on WiFi) This morning, I pull down the Activity bar and see that the phone thinks the Download is still continuing. I couldn't see anyway to force quit other than turning off the phone. So, how does one Kill an Activity, Application, or Process in this Android system?

I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. Phone works great etc etc BUT I have a tiny problem, I can go out for the day and leave my phone at home, I'll get back and it'll say "11 Updates found" for my applications. Which i'm fine with but, as i'm not connected to a WiFi, it uses my mobile internet to connect and find these "updates" which starts eating my phone credit. I'm tired of leaving it. In a matter of days my phone credit is gone.

Which would be the best application to use for GPS navigation. I am currently using google navigator but cannot use this while driving as the screen blacks out after sometime, I need to keep unlocking the phone which is not a good idea while driving. Please let me know if this is the best application or are there any work around for this problem.

Does anyone know if there is a "Clean-up" application available for android OS, and/or a SE one that works with the PC software?
My phone recently decided to upgrade me from R2BA024 to R2BA024!!! (go figure), and completely wipe the usability of all my apps and settings. Now I find that, after reinstalling, the apps (espcially the widgets) like 3G Watchdog, google finance etc. don't work at all. From a file manager, I can see that there appears to be multiple folders for applications, so when my phone was "flashed", stuff was left behind that appears to interfere with my current configuration. The phone's widgets were working a treat until bloody SE PC companion screwed me over.
So, is there such software available? If not, would anyone know if doing this manually is such a good idea (strikes me as kind of a-kin to manually updating a PC's registry)?
Or failing all this - I guess it's a case of restoring the phone back to original factory settings, and starting yet again!
