I just bought an Xperia, but I can't get my Yahoo Mail working. I try and set it up the same way I set up my Hotmail and Gmail, but it keeps saying my username and/or password is incorrect (it's not).

I am having problems accessing my Yahoo mail when i am on the yahoo page via wifi , it tells me that my password is invalid. I have just bought the phone so not sure if i need to syncronise anything with Google?

What is important to me is my email.. I want to be able to sync my yahoo account with yahoo mail and the mail on the phone so if i send an email on my phone it will appear in the sent folder on my yahoo mail on the computer and vice versa if you follow... With Android being google will i be able to do this from the phones email client like the iphone does...

For some reason my x10 will not automaticlly get my mail any more and if I manualy I will get a connection error twice before it will grab my mail.
The connection error I have no clue about as the phones connected to the WIFI at the time? The phone wont even update the timescape crap auto any more eather. So it seem any thing that it should do automaticly it no longer will even changing the refresh from an hour to 15 mins dose nothing
I am trying to get my Shaw mail on my Sony X10 using the Mail app that came on my phone, I know it works I have done it once before, but I had to send my phone in and get a replacement due to some issues, anyways I can get the incoming server to work witch is pop.shaw.ca but the outgoing one is where I am having problems, I have tried everything, but keep getting the same dead end.

I can make calls ok and send and receive text. I have my voice mail set up but when I receive calls if I miss the call it does not go to voice mail and the caller get a message saying the number is not recognized. Does anyone know if this is a phone problem or a network problem only had this since I have had my X10.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI was thinking about it, and i think it is, although the Satio has 12 Mp of camera and other phones are quite good enough, The Xperia seems to have the most balanced equipement between software and hardware, in terms of software it is very unique, that is one reason why i chose the phone, no other phone in the market look this good, i mean the menu and stuff.
And it is also the first choice when you look at SE site and search for a phone Sony Ericsson Products - Mobile phones. So what do you think, it is?, and if it is, how long do you think it is gonna last ?

I have been using my old and faithful HTC touch for the past 3 years and just 2 days ago decided to get the HTC Desire. So far i am very pleased with it and getting through the initial adjustment phase very well. I will like to ask a few questions:
First, i have a few useful work documents on my old HTC touch that was opened with tomeraider, are there any free apps that can open them on the HTC desire?
Secondly, i have already added my gmail account to the HTC desire but i would like to also add my main yahoomail account too . This is my most frequently used email account and it contains a zillion emails that i would not want to synchronize to the phone each time . I guess they will just take up valuable space in the phone so is there a way of only allowing new email to enter my phone.
Finally, i have ordered a new 16gb card from ebay, when this comes, can i just directly copy the data from the current 4 gb card to the new card via my PC and everything works fine after that?
I just received a second hand VZW Moto Droid. The phone and everything on it work fine except it is running Firmware 2.0 When I check for updates it says that there are no updates available. My old Droid that broke was running the 2.2 How do I upgrade to the 2.2 or will the update just appear one of these days? Also the yahoo mail app does not appear in the marlet on the new phone but I had been running it on my old phone. Is this due to the older operating system?
