Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Bluetooth Connectivity / Pairing With Car

I bought a Xperia x10 mini on friday, and I am happy with it so far, but I previously had a W595. I have bluetooth connectivity in my car, and once bonded with the phone, this would connect to the W595 everytime I started the car automatically. Now however with the X10 mini, I have to scroll through the settings to bluetooth controls and find the ford audio paring and connect it manually. Can this automatically connect on the car start up as the W595 used to? It isn't practical for on the start of every journey I need to spend a few mins looking through the phone to connect it up.

I've been trying paring my Xperia 10 with my car radio, which has bluetooth for mp3, phones, handsfree stuff like that.
Where i try to find bluetooth devide with my phone, i turn my bluetooth radio devide on, and the phone can't find it even if i'm in the car, so i wanted to know if you guy can help me out on this please.
My car radio model is a :
Sony Xplod Sony Xplod MEX-BT2600
I've just install Android 2.2 on my xperia, the sofware have been released from like 3 days, i,ve try today again and it still doesn't work.

I am looking at potentially replacing my head-unit in my car to something that can access my phone's media. Does the X10 allow playback through USB? This would be ideal, as it would charge the phone, and playback at the same time. Anyone have any experience with Bluetooth Connectivity via a phone and car stereo? From what I've seen, the BT connection is normally used for phone calls. Is the limitation on the phone end, or stereo end to prohibit streaming media?
Clearly the X10 can stream media via BT because I have a BT headphones that I use for music and phonecalls all the time.

I am unable to pair my jabra BT2020 headset with my Xperia x10. The phone just doesn't detect the headset, even after pressing the scan for new hardware button. Is this because the phone comes with version 2.1 and the headset is only 2.0. Is there any option to go round this problem, or should I get myself a new 2.1 version headset.

Ive recently purchased the X10 and this is my first android phone. Im having a problem with the bluetooth function on it. It pairs and connects with new devices no problem and will connect with them again another once or twice , but after that it it states device paired but not connected. Has anyone else got this problem or advice ion how to solve it. My phone is still running on 1.6 as Im a bit nervous of upgrading to 2.1 when Im seeing all the problems people seem to be having with it.

My X10 mini pro does not connect to some bluetooth devices/programmes that my previous phones have had no trouble doing. I can't even connect to SE's own PC Companion even when that programme has a bluetooth connection option. It gives a message 'Your phone cannot connect via Bluetooth at the moment'. And I can't connect to my car's bluetooth add on - the Parrot 3200LS.

I have had pairing my X10 with a TomTom 930T? The Bluetooth pairing takes place quite effortlessly, but the TomTom device does not recognise the X10 as a device that supports data transfer (needed for live TomTom updates etc)

I notice in my mini pro that when I disabled my data traffic for more than two hours, and turn it on again, there's a problem. After turning on, the 3G won't go active. It stay offline. Once, I had to disable the traffic and turn it on again for the 3G to activate. But last time, I need to reboot my phone so that the 3G could be accessed.

My xperia x10 mini pro will not pair my headset which is a nokia bh-607 bluetooth headset that i used with my nokia. I did look up the compatibilty of the nokia headset and the xperia x10 mini pro was on the list.

I just bought an X10 Mini Pro when i connected my mini pro via USB cable it freezes! i had to download PC companion via SE Support site..after downloading and installing pc companion i tried connecting my phone again via USB cable, pc companion detected my phone but when prompting the phone to mount it freezes! Its frustrating! I can't upload my files to my mini pro..

I bought my Xperia x10 mini yesterday, and one of the first things I did was to set it up for WiFi in my house (which I already have 2 laptops and a stationary PC connected to). Setting it up was easy and quick, but my phone doesn't find the network, not even if I am standing right beside the router. I have tried to restart the WiFi connection, restart my phone, delete and re-add the home connection, but the phone still doesn't connect to the network.
The network's SSID isn't broadcasted for security reasons, could this be the problem? When I search for networks, it doesn't find any 'unnamed' networks like the windows pcs do. (which is normally the one I need to connect to.) Is there something wrong with my hardware? Or my software (my phone is completely up-to-date)? (Except broadcast the SSID, which is not an option..)

I just got the Experia X10 mini, my old phone was also a sony ericsson. My first problem has been the transfer of my contacts, I saved my contacts from my old phone onto my new sim but when I put the sim into the X10 it says there is nothing on it! So I desided to bluetooth them across and I cant find the X10. The bluetooth is defo on and discoverable. Not even my mate can find it. I phoned my contract supplier and they informed me that this a know problem with sony ericsson and I should get an update.

I am having problems with bluetooth.I can receive bluetooth files but for some reason i get an error when trying to send photos or music via bluetooth to other devices.I don't understand. Both devices are paired and are discoverable yet when I try to send anything i get a message 'Error! Could not send file'.Any ideas what the problem is?

I can't get bluetooth to run on my X10. I don't usually use it but today I wanted to. Everything else I have set to off to save battery life. I only use 3G for Internet use which I cannot do without.
My phone says it is up to date. I am sure there are a quadrillion updates or fixes users of X10 want. I have to say though, this is actually my first and only problem with X10.

After upgrading to Android 2.1 pairing with my Ford Audio (mondeo 2007) works fine but during a call Bluetooth dropps off and reconnects again after 5 seconds.Ideas anyone.I already reinstalled/repaired Android 2.1.It worked fine when the Xperia was running 1.6 and any other phone doesn't have this issue.

Can you make a sticky thread please on this subject and include a step by step guide and maybe the link to SE's blog and video on how to... So many users are really struggling with this, and its all possible as long as you get the set up right. People don't seem to see your yellow asterisk and it also doesn't give a huge amount of info. Coming from dumb phones where you just pressed the button this whole new way of doing things is a bit perplexing when you start out.

I´m facing problem with phone book synchronization of my Xperia X10 2.1 with Parrot CK3100 bluetooth hands free. The exact issue is that Parrot import few of contacts only and rest have not displayed at all. After re-connect again it works fine for while.

I have the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. I have a ford Mondeo car which has a built in bluetooth. I can connect to the hands free but I have to manualy reconnect everytime I get into the car. I was wondering if there was anyway to get the X10 to connect automatically as all my previous phones used to.

I bought this phone a few days back and i can't seem to get the wifi or the bluetooth to turn on, am i missing something?
