Phone got stuck on boot screen due the unseccessfull galaxo update (got foce close, and had no valid backup). Tried to odin 3 diferent firmware (iik5, jc4, jc6), every time odin flash passes bud afrer rebooting the phone loops boot screen.

View 11 Replies View Relatedafter my phone crashed / went unresponsive after a call I did what I've gotten used to doing which is taking out the battery to reset it. Though, this time I had the charger in which I'm guessing is what made the phone corrupt. Now I'm stuck in a boot loop with no way to reset it. Recovery mode doesn't help and I'm guessing there's no hardware reset button. I've never rooted or installed anything that's not from the free market.
I'm living in Sweden but bought it in Germany so am reluctant to go through the hassle of returning it. Or does samsung have som kind of world wide warranty?
I've seen the Motorola Droid users doing this, but I'd like my own custom animation for the boot up screen on the Galaxy. Anyone know how you go about that? I tried copying a bootanimation.zip file in there as per the Droid instructions but looks like the Galaxy doesn't use it. Where are the boot up screen/animations stored on the Galaxy?

I flash and then I install the ROM and everything goes well until the boot up screen. It gets stuck in a loop of the Droid and Droid Eye animation (For over 10 minutes) and I have to restore it. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong? I am using the Droid with Froyo, rooted using Easy Root.

I can boot it into Hboot, I've done a factory reset, didn't work. The customer said they deleted all their contacts from the phone, charged it then the next day it was stuck like this.

The first version worked great without of course the camer the wifi and so on that there were not working with this first version, then i made something very stupid and format the SD CARD and since then i cant boot/start my phone. Then i didnt like osme of the things i changed so i restored my backup i just did now its stuck after restoring on the white htc evo screen. NOT GOOD!! I even pulled the battery and SD Card...twice.
View 4 Replies View RelatedTried rooting so I started off flashing r8 of bh_man's 1.6 rom. Went through the setup, odin turned blue to pass and I let the phone run past the android system and then the screen turned off.
Thing about it is that the phone is still being detected by the computer and odin. It's like my phone is on a screen lock but not responding to when I push unlock.
Ive tried every custom rom and each one does the same. I try to go back to stock and most of the time the program closes, when it doesn't I try to flash it and it goes through the process but goes on forever. One time I let the timer go on for 2 hours and it was still on 5/9 completed.
Got the WSOD on a non-rooted, stock 2.2 incredible last night. Pulling the battery is the only way to turn it off. Recovery and Factory Reset from hboot manager hang at the htc white screen. Clear Storage also goes straight to the white screen. If turned off it'll charge. SD card is not corrupted. Phone was in close proximity to an iphone 3g for maybe an hour. (We'd been comparing the screens then the iphone was placed on top of the incredible while we ate dinner.) Noticed that phone was at the white screen. Battery was not warm. No signs of external damage. Either this is totally random, or the RF from the iphone managed to fry something.

After flashing successfully (through cwm recovery), i reboot my phone and then it stuck at boot screen.I did many searches but cannot understand any.I can go into recovery and download mode which is i think so required by odin.I wonder if I can flash any stock rom again easily. It sometimes works to move the option but pushing the power button doesn't do anything. Is there anything I can do to restart my phone avoiding this screen? It goes there every time. My device is rooted, i was installing an app that tweaks performance which needed drivers to be downloaded / installed. As soon as i clicked that driver download / install button the device immediatly shut down. Now i'm stuck on its boot logo (Its a Chinese tablet powered by a RK3066 Chip / android 4.1.1) I tried (Holding power + volume down) = Dead android logo with red exc. mark on top / (Holding power + volume up) = Nothing / (Holding power + both volume up and down) = Dead android logo with red exc. mark on top / (Leaving dead android logo for a couple of minutes) = resets and logo is still stuck.
I have no custom anything . I did not do anything with the root except download apps.
I also do not have linux.
When the tablet is plugged into the PC when the dead android is displaying , it detects, but that is it, i cannot browse it what so ever.
All recovery methods in the tablet are (dead android logo)

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I'm relatively new to rooting. I'm running BB .4, and that went okay. I'm trying to install a theme using ROM Manager. I backup and wipe and it loads into recovery and all that. That runs okay. Then, when it's rebooting, it gets stuck on the DROID screen. Well,actually, it does it once, goes to the Droid eye, and then just repeats the DROID screen over and over. A battery pull allows me to get back into recovery, which lets me restore my back up and then it boots just fine, but I'd really like to make my phone purple. Any ideas?

I did some research and bought Rom Manager and Bootstrap. I did the bootstrap and than rebooted to recovery. Than I installed rubix from the sd Card. I found someone else with the problem here and people told them to pull the battery and get into recovery. When I do that I get a droid with an exclamation mark screen. I cant seem to get into recovery or do anything and I am stuck at the rubix boot screen. It seems my problem is because I did not wipe my date or clear cache when installing... but I can't get into recovery to re-do it!

The motorola M screen came up and then the sapphire came up. After about ten seconds it goes away and reappears and has been doing this for the past 35 minutes. Is this normal? View 8 Replies View RelatedSo I rooted my desire using the r6 guide from MoDaCo. Worked well, no problems. Recovered my personal data and apps, set my alarm went to sleep. Alarm goes off, get out of bed and all still fine. Then, I decided to apply apps2SD picking up at the end of Lekky's guide. Followed it word for word but once complete, it wont boot past the HTC boot screen (the white screen with logo).
I am going to try and reapply the rooted ROM (if I can get my blackberry to turn on to write to the goldcard). But, does anyone have any idea what could have gone wrong? I really want apps2SD, but this could all go pear-shaped again. Are there any other tried and tested methods to get apps2sd on a stock superuser ROM?

He said it lowers the pixels in the game to run better. I tapped the install button and it said rebooting now. It then started to reboot but then proceeded to get stuck at the boot screen. I tried doing a hard reset but it is still stuck. I have also tried flashing the stock rom, but I get installation aborted when I try and install it.
