General :: How To Re-root Samsung Galaxy S4
Jun 26, 2013I originally rooted my S4 using the ODIN3 v3.07 and CF-Auto-Root-jflte-jfltexx-gti9505.tar.md5 method.
I then unrooted, using the settings to fully unroot in SuperSU app, to try and get an official update (which obviously didn't work).
I can't seem to re-root using the same method, probably because ODIN flash is still on my phone.

Feb 7, 2014First question is if i need to root my device before installing a 4.2.2 rom. Currently i have 4.1.2 JB, but it's from factory and i haven't got the update from official soft. Second one is: If i finally manage to do that update to 4.2.2, what rom should i go to from there on? Stay at 4.2.2 or go further? I need a stable one, i'm not really a andoid geek, but sounds fun to get into it.

So I used the One Click method and everything is fine so far.
My Kernel is 2.6.29 root@SE-S602 #2 and Baseband is XXJF3 (2.1). So I went into my apps and saw the superuser permission app. But it doesn'thttp://android.bigresource.com/add/add.php work! It is just a blacked out screen. So I am not sure where to go from here. I have tried searching for an answer but couldn't find one, just guides how to root. How to make my phone faster from this point? I get confused with all these ROM things! Which is the best ROM? MoDaCo? Is there a Froyo version of it?
