I have the behold 2 and I would really like to send and recieve ringtones by bluetooth? I tried medival transfer and it saysI need 1.6 or higher, also androbex and nothing either, I also tried Hoccer but on that my problem is that I'm the only one with the android phone.

Ok here is my question. For some reason I can not figure out how to send ringtones or sounds VIA bluetooth, or MMS. I am able to send everything else like pictures or other stuff, but for some reason there is no option to send a sound. WHY? Am I doing something wrong? I searched for hours trying to find something like this on the board but never did find anything.

I tried sending a picture from another phone to my handset (desire) and it received okay but when i tried sending a music file, it said sending and receiving but never came through, not even 1% of it.. but screen stayed on receiving part for ages before i got fed up and cut off.

I can go to settings and set them as a ringtone however when i go to them in file manager or astro the file manager that i use from the market place they are no where to be found on my memory card. View 6 Replies View RelatedHow do i look inside my current rom to see if anything is out of wack with my framework? mms stoped working for some reason. i cannot send or recieve mms or video. if i wipe and clear cache and reinstall the rom it will work just fine but when i titanium backup all my apps and system data, thats when i lose the ability to send pics or recieve them. i have not deleted anything from the system but it seems as something has gone missing. any help is greatly appreciated . i am running second wave with latest radio.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI noticed this was happening after I flashed xtrSENSE 4.2 a few weks back. I couldn't send or recieve emails on my phone. I went into the app and cleared cache/data and It works for a few minutes then back to normal. I've read through previous threads and have seen the same tips and tricks. Is anyone else having issues with their gmail? I'm not sure what else I can do besides re wiping (I don't think it has to do with the ROM I flashed so I'm not running to do this)

View 13 Replies View RelatedSo my inbuilt email app works with my hotmail account and i can send and recieve emails, but it doesnt syncronise so when i delete an email on my laptop and then reload my email on my phone the email is still in the inbox.
Basically i just want an email app that lets me delete things and actually delete them rather than just deleting them on my phone and not on the actual server and obviously being able to send and recieve emails would also be good.
I just bought a Behold 2 and was trying to use my plantronics 520 headset, but I turned it up all the way and it wasn't very loud and the person that I was talking to said he was hearing static. I have been using this headset with my Blackberry 8900 with no problems. Is this a software problem? May be when we get upgraded to 2.0 or 2.1 this will be fixed? or should I try something else? anyone know what works best with this phone?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have the Behold II through T Mobile and when I'm on the road and in certain places I will have full bars but no 3g, or wifi. When I try to send a text it says "Unable to send text, will send once service becomes avalible" When I try to make a call it says service unavalible.
It tells me I have full bars, and when I go to network selection, it doesnt matter what network i choose or whats avalible it wont connect to it, a message will pop up and say "Network with limited service avalible, search for network" ..if i say yes it just does the same thing all over again, and if i say no it goes into automatic mode and wont let me do anything once again..
I have full bars, does that not matter? If I have to have 3g then why would it tell me i have a full signal when I really dont.
1. Does the phone support Chinese input?
in other words, if the phone could send or receive Chinese messages?
2. If something wrong with the phone during updating, and can't start, is there any ways to recovery it?

Everytime my phone connects with my car stereo (Clarion FB275btb) it starts to stream music. It even tries to stream if the music player is closed. After I stop the music and and put the stereo into another mode it works fine. If I later get a call it acts normally, but after I end the call it starts to stream music again! Any ideas on what the problem might be? My stereo worked fine with my behold I and nokia 5310.

Im trying to send my contacts over bluetooth from my old sony ericsson but it doesnt seem to be going smoothly, i would say its all down to me! Basically i have got the bluetooth on for both phones, the desire is set to be discoverable and i try to send the contacts via bluetooth on the SE. I get the whole passcode and accept the file which i have done, but then it says again about accepting the file. Ive tried it a few times and i have 3 bluetooth icons at the top of my screen now which i imagine are for transferring files which need accepting. Is there anywhere i can to accept them or close them down?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAlright whats up people I was recently searching through and through for a way to get mobile internet without paying that ridiculous android price so as I was searching I stumbled across a regular behold forum at Samsung Behold Forum - New Proxy (TMobileX (Free Internet!)) - UPDATE: Analysis 01.07.10 -> 1500 Users because someone said free internet for it and I gave it a run to see if it would work with our behold 2 and surely enough it does.
Instructions on how to use proxy:
Open up the (default) browser on your Samsung Behold.
Type in the following address into the : tmo-x.co.cc/tmobilex/
Type in the address you want to visit in the form on the page and select whether or not you want to use my HTML trick (free; allows you to see sites in full HTML not 'WAP-stripped').
After many attempts to try and use the terminal emulator that is already preloaded onto the behold 2 , and many failures..After trying out different Terminal Em.'s and always having my phone lag because they wernt made for it...i have finally found a way to get terminal emulator working with no lag or no slow down in performance... First you must have root,of course, Next, Use an app called root explorer or something similar and goto the folder /system/app/ and find the two files Term.apk and Term.odex, and MOVE them to your sd card from your phone,you want them gone from your system/app folder After that simply goto the market and search for Terminal Emulator , re-download and there you have it, Working term. em. on the behold 2.Peace Ladz.

I was succesfully able to get adb to detect my phone serial. but whenever I type in: adb shell /data/local/try3 /system/bin/sh
in the CMD, it returns with "permission denied"
