I remember reading about a port from the HTC espresso i believe, but I have not been able to find anything specific.. i have smoked glass 5.0.1 right now which looks awesome but i wouldn't mind replacing it with the sense UI overhaul..

On some occasions I will get the reminder after I have been at the location after an hour or more, and sometimes I don't get notified at all? It's showing my location accurately on the phone- just the reminders aren't working correctly. Is this actually working? I mean, if you go to a location wtih a reminder, do you a) get a reminder, and b) a reminder right away- not hours after you've arrived at the location? I need to determine if it's not working yet, or if I may have an interfering app... I'm running stock JB 4.1.2 with Verizon on a Samsung S3 phone.

I hate manually typing in letter by letter when using the phone in normal position. Use to be able to fly through text and not have to go horizontal to type. By these settings I mean the Trackball/Breathing light and similar. These ROMS would seem overall more Droid-oriented without these settings that are basically useless to us Deleting the HTC Copyright .apk seems easy enough..

If not, is there a way to get it 100% back to factory default settings? I haven't really customized it yet, so if I break it during rooting or BRICK it, I know there are UNBRICKING steps posted already, but I want to make sure I don't end up with a FUBAR phone during this process, or afterwards.

I installed 2.2 the ligit way, searched for updates and asked if I wanted to download 2.2 so I did. Now HTC Sense will not even start when I switch on the phone. The phone starts and then says "loading..." and while it's loading it shows that lovely application error, normally you just click "force close" but application that's breaking is actually HTC Sense and the "force close" button is grayed out, then the phone restarts with the white screen and green HTC logo and then gets to the "loading..." part and then HTC Sense breaks again and the phone is stuck in an infinite loop.
View 2 Replies View RelatedLast week I cleared the data on Facebook for HTC Sense, Facebook app and Instagram app on my Wildfire S. After that I couldn't get Instagram to connect to Facebook and thought I'd done something wrong.. Last night I got a new phone (2nd hand - Incredible S) and I still can't get Instagram to connect with Facebook. I keep getting "authorize htc sense for facebook" in a triangle at the top when I try and it seems to go part the way (logging in, choosing to allow Instagram to share things on my behalf) then it goes to a "page cannot be displayed" type page and won't go any further.
I'm signed into HTC Sense (same email) and tried to sync Facebook but the only part that won't sync is "sync live feed" which I'm guessing is linked in with why Instagram isn't connecting.
Is it wrong to assume that once the HTC Incredible is available it won't be long til a stable version of Sense 2.1 is ready? I remember reading that an alpha build for Sense was made but I haven't heard of any updates since.

This would make my phone almost perfect anyone can help me? I would gladly pay $20 for such a thing.
I heard you could get the htc sense ui on the droid, is this true? And if so, can u post a link where I can learn how to put it on my droid? Oh and one more thing, is the htc sense ui called a rom when u put in on a non htc device?

Sense UI has been ported to the Moto Droid. I know some people could care less. But for me, I graduated to the Moto Droid from the HTC Eris and I really like Sense UI. I got a sprint HTC Hero but am very disappointed by it's speed (And I run only two widgets - bookmarks and weather!) - when I press the menu button the phone can take up to 3 seconds for the pulldown login screen to show up - super annoying. I'm loving Droid for the tech specs...but I love the sense UI is it possible to put the sense UI on the droid in theory? I have a few more days to return the hero and might if I could get this to work.
