View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to get drag event(s) when user holds finger on screen and drags it in any direction. The event need to repeatedly provide new touch position until finger is released in the form of callbacks. This is not related to dragging objects.I could see this drag feature working on home screen of the phone to move the home screen left and right. But couldn't figure out how it works. Please provide information on which class and methods to be referred for this.
View 2 Replies View RelatedLong story short: I'm trying to post comments and create issues onto Google Code via an Android App called Abugadro.
I followed a very similar piece of code here:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3254330/google-spreadsheet-api-update-edit-with-protocol
When trying to post a comment onto the API, I've gotten various errors like 403 and 501 depending on the headers I use. Anyway, Code talks, so here's my piece:
HttpPost postRequest = new HttpPost("http://code.google.com/feeds/issues/p/"+projName+"/issues/"+issueId+"/comments/full");
postRequest.addHeader("Content-Type","application/atom+xml;charset=UTF-8");
postRequest.setHeader("Authorization", "GoogleLogin auth=" + auth);
postRequest.addHeader("User-Agent", "abugadro-v"+getResources().getString(R.string.version));
postRequest.addHeader("Accept-Encoding","gzip");
postRequest.addHeader("GData-Version", "1.0");
//postRequest.addHeader("If-Match", "*");//Not entirely sure if I should use this or not HttpEntity se = new StringEntity(xml,"UTF-8"); //Contains the comment info postRequest.setEntity(se);
The IssueTrackerAPI is very vague on what sort of headers I should be using to post correctly.
http://code.google.com/p/support/wiki/IssueTrackerAPI#Modifying_an_issue_or_creating_issue_comments
P.S. I know there's a gdata-java-client but there's no sane way to use that api on android without dragging ~2mb of jars.
I really appreciate your help, this issue has been driving me insane beyond comprehension.
The default gallery widget only provides events for when items are clicked, but is there any way to tell what item is selected when only dragging the gallery around?

today I put my sd card into my sd card reader to throw some photos on to my computer. After I was done i put the sd card back into my droid and booted it up. After booting I get a notification saying my SD card is blank, so I turn off the phone and pull the battery out. When I grabbed my SD card it burnt my hand "literally" it was that hot... Wtf?!?! I put the SD card back in the reader and the computer doesnt even see the card. Idk if anyone has heard of a similar problem b4 and knows a fix...Thanks in advance! Side Note; I work at a cell phone repair store, so I put the sd card in two other blackberry's and they say "your sd card needs to be formated or it is corrupt". I put other sd cards into my phone and i have no problems.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm upgrading from my Droid 1 to the Droid X tomorrow and would like to start my use of the DX with it's new 32gb card in place of my old 16gb card from my Droid 1 but need to know if there's anything required to copy from my droid 1 16gb card to my new DX 32 gb card that would be required or helpful in the DX use.I will obviously transfer music/vids/pics but are there any essential files, apps, etc. that are needed.Or is it a good idea to use my paid MyBackupPro to copy the old Droid 1 apps/data for use in the DX larger memory card or is this not copatible to perform between the 2 devices?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI rooted last night, DL LFY and LFY1100 kernel. I installed the kernel and then LFY itself. After trying to reboot it only gets to the custom boot screen and will not launch. After 15 minutes I pulled the battery and tried to launch in recovery mode to load my backup. Upon trying to do that it says cannot mount to SD card. I try again and same thing. After failing to mount it goes into the same custom launch screen for LFY but no OS comes up.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else had any issues with their Droid 2 refusing to realize that there's an SD card inserted? I went through basic troubleshooting steps for this:
1) try a different SD card - no dice
2) format the SD card - again, nothing
3) factory phone reset - nothing
I have 3 cards: a 2gb, an 8gb and a 16gb. the 16 is what I had in my Droid 1 and it had no issues whatsoever!
I rooted droid X and copied apk files into the sd card, but suddenly I don't see the files even though I did not erase. I can see them in ASTRO but not in the explorer (computer). Also, I realized that pictures of screenshots are not appeared in the explorer but I can see them in ASTRO and gallery in the phone. So how can I see and erase them?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've tried to save some data to my phone and it says that the SD card is not installed. I've verified it's there. Is there a setting that I might have to tweak to let the phone know it's there? Or is there a chance the cards bad?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI don't think this has been asked before in this forum, but if it has, I apologize for repeating... Just like many of you probably are, I am in need of more storage. 14 GB is evaporating fast, and I'm not sure the SD card is upgradable yet. I don't fully understand exactly what an SD card does besides provide storage (ie: does it function as a hard drive, etc). Basically, how are those who are upgrading their SD cards doing so without having to reload all your apps, re-buying apps you paid for, and having to otherwise completely set up your Droid all over again from scratch?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI know that I can put applications on my SD card now that the phone is rooted (very easily using Liquid Frozen Yogurt). Anyways, what I was wondering is if I put all my apps on my SD card, what happens when/if I reflash my ROM? Will I have to wipe the SD card, reinstall the Apps and reback them up top the SD card? Or does it install once the SD card with the programs is inserted?

I'm rooted, will changing sd cards do anything to that?Also, aside from maybe the root files there really isnt much else on my sd card so I'm not really worried about losing anyhting.. I'd just rather hve 64 gb then the 16 in there now!

View 1 Replies View RelatedYou know, I hate that feeling when you join a great forum, and having to ask for some sort of help in your first post. *sigh* Anyway, here goes.I just got my DX, and its pretty awesome. I love almost everything about the phone. The problem is that the SD card won't work, and I'm not sure if it's the card or the phone. On around the 5th day with the phone, I was listening to music with pandora, and decided that I wanted to play a little Super KO Boxing 2. However, the battery was really low at the time. Because of this, as soon as I opened the game and it started searching the SD card for the down loadable content, the phone ran out of battery and the screen froze. I had to turn power off. Later on when it was done charging, I turned the phone on again, only to be notified that the SD card was of an unsupported filetype. So I formatted it in the settings menu, but nothing happened. I clicked format again, and still nothing. Now, even when I click the "mount button", nothing happens. I have tried removing the card and turning the phone on an off. I don't actually own a pc card reader but would have no problems with buying one.
