Android : Droid Live Wallpaper Locking Up / How To Fix?
Nov 14, 2010I'm very new to android development and to get started I've started modifying the android ask sample 'shape wallpaper'. I've added a touch ripple, change resources etc and removed the more basic example. If I have my se xperia x10 plugged in and run the app it downloads to the phone and once started works great. I then unplug the phone and the wallpaper keeps working for approximately 24 hours. It then slows redrawing dramatically then displays nothing - I can't even load the settings page

Apr 21, 2010I am pulling out my hair trying to figure out what to do to get my Live Wallpaper to show up on the Android Market for a Moto Droid with the 2.1 OTA update. It shows up and downloads just fine on Nexus One.I can only think that it has something to do with the AndroidManifest.xml file contents. I tried all combinations for <supports-screens> including not having it at all. I tried including/ excluding the <uses-feature android:name="android.software.live_wallpaper" />.I don't like releasing my app over and over trying to debug this.

May 11, 2010My question is since the live wallpapers is an apk and it has been ported to a few other devices, why has it not been ported to the droid eris. We know that with the OTA we won't be getting live wallpapers, so for the people that want them I say we should try to port it over to the Eris.
