General :: Track Internet History?
Mar 17, 2012My son's Iphone 4s is under my sprint account, and I feel as the owner of the phone I should know what he is doing on it. While at the sprint store they described to me the Iphone 4s 16gb Black, can browse the web with a browser called Safari.
I'm trying to find my answer online, before having to call sprint, because usually the wait time is too long, when I can probably get some more information online. I am signed into my spring account on the sprint website, however, I have been unable to find anywhere to track his history.I'm not trying to be the snoopy parent here, but I would like to know what he is up to, because he sure is using the web a lot according to the bill.
General :: Transfer Track ID History Backup From Xperia Mini Pro To Moto G
Mar 19, 2014Id like to transfer the trackid app history from my xperia mini pro to my moto g.
Ive tried it with titanium backup, but the app crashes on load using the moto g.
I've googled this to death and cant find much.
The app on my xperia was built in to the phone and seems to be developed by gracenote.
There is a Sony version on play store which is virtually the same but updated and slicker looking.
Ideally I'd like to use the new app, using the history from the old app, but have read the databases are incompatible.
I've looked for the file that holds the history but cant find anything.
As a last resort, I'll start again with the new app, but would like to extract the history from the old trackid on my xperia and save as a text file. I dont really want to have to type /write down the list manually!
Samsung Moment :: Low Memory / Rejecting Messages - Functions Turned Off
Feb 28, 2010Recently I downloaded, Pandora Radio, a local movies widget, a bible, task killer, and My Coupons. At that point, my moment started giving a low memory message, it began rejecting messages and voice mail. Basic phone and message functions turned off, and it told you so, all because of low memory, the blue tooth wouldnt function. At what point, is this low memory function triggered and override the functions of the phone. How long will it be before we can just store our applications to the memory card

Mar 26, 2009How can one track memory consumption in Android? The Android "Heap" view in Eclipse and java.lang.Runtime methods seem failing for my purpose. I tried to figure out how much memory my app consumes in order to make decisions for future directions. Most of the memory goes into Bitmap objects. Just to test memory consumption I created huge bitmaps in a Loop and logged the java.lang.Runtime memory values: created bitmap (610k free, 2371k total, 16384k max) created bitmap (615k free, 2371k total, 16384k max) created bitmap (615k free, 2371k total, 16384k max) created bitmap (615k free, 2371k total, 16384k max)
Nothing seems to hapen, but on the fifth Bitmap: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: bitmap size exceeds VM budget at android.graphics.Bitmap.nativeCreate(Native Method) at android.graphics.Bitmap.createBitmap(Bitmap.java:343) at de.greenrobot.colorball.GameView.init(GameView.java:86)
This seems confusing at first. Is java.lang.Runtime the right place to check application memory stats in Android at all? Are Bitmaps allocated outside the app's heap? How can I track it?

Jun 19, 2010How do I track the memory used by OpenGL textures in Android? I understand the texture memory is on the Video RAM, but do they get swapped in with the RAM? If I call glGenTextures and do not call glDeleteTextures, how does it impact the memory usage of my current process?

Aug 18, 2010I'm just wondering if the "X" being the latest Hi-End phone has some of these "Basic" features, and how to make them work.
My Oooold Moto Razr & old Blackberry Perl there were (1) different ring tones for text, alarm, incoming-ring, etc. You could also set different levels of volume for each.
(2) You could lock individual applications (password protected), like text, recent calls, phone book, etc.
(3) You could also set a timer for phone to SHUT Off, and Turn ON - and pick weekdays, or weekends, or each day.
I haven't been able to figure out these BASIC things on the X yet. Can I download any apps for this, incase Moto Droid forgot to include these basic features on their hi-end phone?

I'd prefer on-screen icons to 'click' for the
MENU | HOME | BACK | SEARCH
selections that the hard-buttons offer. Do any of the home replacement apps do this? Again, I am not interested in reassigning what the buttons currently do, but looking for any on-screen options instead.
Motorola Droid 2 :: Phone Features / Functions Not Responding Correctly?
Sep 28, 2010I got my droid2 as a replacement for my droid from verizon after the droid crapped out with 2.2. Now, when I turn on the flash, it's yellow instead of white. Also, when I go into contacts and click on someone, most of the time the number doesn't show. Also sometimes when press the call button next to someones name in the phonebook, it will call someone else. Ex: tried to call my friend Dave and it called Scott.. Not even close to each other in the list...
The camera only works half of the time. When I try open up camera by either pressing the app icon or the hard button, it wont open. There are also times that when I open an app, another app will open. Like I tried to open maps and Dominoes game opens. Other times I tried to answer a call and I try to swipe over and it doesn't slide.

Nov 28, 2008There are a couple of options within the browser I didn't find until after searching for it, so I thought I would share it with the rest of the community in order to help out.
-Everyone should clear the browser cache and previous history in order to save internal phone memory. To do this go to BROWSER press the MENU button and press MORE. There should be a list of things in there but what you should be interested in is the last item which is SETTINGS. From there in privacy settings there will be options to clear both cache and history.
- Another little tip I wanted to share was viewing webpages in landscape mode without opening your keyboard. To do this simply press the MENU button from within the BROWSER and go down to FLIP ORIENTATION. You should realize tho by doing this you browser will continue to be in landscape the next time it's used. In order to return it to it's normal portrait mode just follow these steps once again.
-There are a number of other things you can mess around with or find with the MENU button within the browser so just take a look at it yourself even if you don't want to do any of these tips.

I found it last night when I was trying to find a way to delete my "Frequent Calls" list (Worst thing ever!). It's called HistoryEraser. It successfully erased my entire Market History. It also resets frequent calls, google maps searches, call logs, and browser history. Enjoy.

My notification light just came on and phone made the notification noise, but when I picked up the phone and pulled down the notification bar, there was no notification. Jul 30, 2010Sometimes I like to get rid of all the texts etc. from someone on my phone. But on the X, I can delete the text message, no problem. But how do I delete the history from under my contacts. What I mean is when you go to your contact list and select a contact you can view the contact but then move the screen over and view all recent history with them. That still sits there after a text thread has been deleted. Is there a way to prevent this from even happening or at least some way to delete the history?
