Is there a way to disable haptic feedback when you move your phone to silent mode? I normally carry the phone with vibrate on, but in class I'd like to set it to silent, and then I'd like it to not use haptic feedback so that I can use the phone without making a ton of noise.

Since downloading Bugless Beast .9 on my new phone, I have had issues with haptic feedback. After a restart it was working on everything EXCEPT the hardware keys.Anyone know why the hardware keys arent giving feedback?

View 3 Replies View RelatedAnyone elses Haptic feedback on the 4 touch-buttons make a "crack" sound sometimes? I noticed that I hear it more when I hold the phone in landscape with the screen slid up. It still vibrates, but it also delivers a very interesting crackling sound and the vibrate usually feels weaker than normal when this happens. I think I will turn it off because it always feels like i'm breaking it by pressing them too much lmao.

I haven't seen any other posts discussing this as an issue. Anyone know why this happened? Did the update for TBH include a new build.prop that disabled this feature? Speaking of build.props I also still have 2.3.9 showing as my system version? Is there any way to know for sure you're on .15?
View 1 Replies View Relatedmy droid vibes all the time when the screen times out 1-3vibes and some times when it is been sleeping for a bit it gives a short little vibe all by its self or when sleeping and you tuch the screen you get a short vibe some times then when you are in the home screens and you tap where there is not a icon/widget it gives a strong vibe.it vibrates when sliding to unlock 3 little studders it does 3 or more short vibrates when exiting out of any app or using the back,home,or menu.

I know that you can turn off haptic feedback for the screen, but on the eris, i have yet to find a way to turn off the haptic feedback for those specific keys at the bottom. View 8 Replies View RelatedMy phone no longer vibrates in vibration mode or for any other setting for which I have vibration turned on. My haptic feedback disappeared at the same time.
Haptic feedback is checked yet there is none. I have rebooted and pulled the battery to no avail. My phone is useless in vibration mode since it no longer vibrates.
Anyone have a clue why this would have happened? One minute it was working the next it wasn't.

View 16 Replies View RelatedI just got my droid x last week and I like it. I only have a couple problems. One I can't seem to getnmy phone to vibrate when receiving txts or calls when in silent mode. I went into settings and I have vibrate set to only vibrate in silent mode but it doesn't.Also it may be just me but it seems like other phones I have the in call volume was extremely loud. My old phone I could hear the person clear as day even holding the phone away from me. With the droid x I have volume maxes out but its not white as loud. Its not that bad I can still hear but I was just wondering. My other speakers such as media work great and are extremely loud. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.

When you put the phone to silent before me all sound would cease rings, alarms, notifications, now only the ring is silent, but the alarm and notifications sound off at the worst possible times! Its a pain to go to settings and turn them all off, but that's all it seems that works for now. Has anyone come up with a better solution? I have tasker- maybe a way to do it there?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI used to have a motorola droid and one of the features that I really liked on the unlock screen there was a silent feature which is still there on my droid x where I could put the phone in silent mode. That's great but I want a vibrate option also. On my droid I could login and use the volume down key and the volume would go down on the ringer and then it would go into vibrate all mode, and then silent mode. On my droid x it goes straight into silent mode without a vibrate all mode. Where is my vibrate all mode? I want it back!

Personally, I'd like to be able to be notified discretely in social situations without having the ring on, BUT also the convenience of being able to turn everything off with a quick swipe. The vibrate is pretty dang loud.

Anyone have an issue with the droid going into silent mode after connecting it and then disconnecting it from the usb charger. I found that I have to manually take it out of silent mode each time.

Usually whenever I go to school, I would put my Droid in silent mode and then when done I put it into vibrate mode. Now with the update it seems that I cannot do this. Here are the options that I want. What must I do to get them:
Vibrate mode: Vibrate for incoming calls, texts, emails, etc.
Silent mode: No vibration or sound for anything at all.
I just installed a 2.2 (fresh, factory reset). However, I cannot seem to get the volume below vibrate. Was silent mode removed?
