Part of the lower casing appears to be bulging near a seam on the edge.I can live with it I think, as long as it doesn't get worse.My concern with the exchange is that the one I have WORKS just fine, no random restarts, normally minimal lag though the touch keyboard seems a little sluggish at times even as I type this message.

Im a big online gamer when it comes to games such as call of duty and even world of warcraft. To be honest. My families internet ultimately sucks. So im wondering if this 3g mobile hotspot I discovered is a good choice for me to get so I can play my games online effectively. Money is no issue. I would just like some input on the effectiveness and speed of the mobile internet available for the x.

Anybody know what the best way to get it exchanged? I ordered it from verizonwireless.com. I would really like to be able to swap it out at the store, but am afraid I will have to send it off and wait on shipping again.
I'm considering taking my droid back for an eris. I just wanted to see how may ppl have switched and if they're happy they did
View 29 Replies View Relatedyeah unforunatley my phone hase been flawless since the 6/05 when I got if from Amazon, besides the pink hue of the screen, but I have noticed that I have lint/dirt between the screens you think there would be some kind of sealant or a gasket to keep this crap out of the screens, mine is just a few specks but they are really big specks and bugs the f-out of me so I emailed amazon yesterday and they are going to sent me a replacement, they said july 13th-july 20 it should be here, so hopefully the one I get is still the AMOLED screen not the new one they are talking about switch too.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWell, I have a double whammy, Screen Separation and Light Leakage on my one week old white Evo.Went to BB yesterday to setup an exchange. I love HTC phones, but they always seem to have issues with all of their phones.
On my HTC Mogul, their screens had the infamous white spot issue.
On my TP, it had overheating issues and the keyboard cable issue. I had four of those phones.
On my Diamond it was riddled with issues, for the most post, manufacturing wasn't one of them.
On my TP2, there were issues with the keys along the bottom.
And now on my Evo there are issues with the screen.HTC has a great product line up, they just need to tighten up the manufacturing and QC product. Especially on flagship products!

The main points that I like to enjoy is: Droid beat out the phone that beat the iPhone, and the Droid got further in the brackets than any other Android OS phone Some of the progress is due to hardware, some due to following (over the Nexus'), but a lot due to the v2.01 (and now 2.1) version of the Android OS. Also, this poll is open ALL weekend - it does not close until April 5th, so we have tons of time...but then again, so does the Palm Pre. Let's have at 'em!
Is there any other way on the X to sync FB's pictures without it syncing the other junk like their phone numbers? I've tried Syncmypix but the quality of the pictures are kinda crappy.

I love using my DROID in the OEM Car Dock. I have it setup in landscape mode, but I'm seriously thinking of reconsidering this. More-or-less, because I have to. Every app seems to work great in landscape mode all, except for one, that is. The phone app. What's up with that?Go ahead, try it! Open up the phone app (displaying the dial pad), and turn the DROID on it's side nu thin'! Now open the hardware keyboard. Isn't that a hoot? I would love to know how you're supposed to dial a phone when there isn't any dial pad. In my honest opinion, this is one of the biggest over-sights with the DROID and I have yet to hear anyone mention this issue on this forum, or any other forums. My husband couldn't stand it anymore so he went and got himself a Droid which I promptly rooted and installed the same 2.0.3 SS ROM that mine is running. I have both OC's at 800mhz, but for some reason his newer phone is HOT. It's pretty consistently about 5 degrees Celsius higher than mine, and it gets up into the 40's with use (which mine never does). Is there anything I should try on his phone, maybe a different kernel, to get it to run a little cooler?

What is the best IM app for the Droid? And please dont say ebbudy because that app sucks. I just want an app that can do these basic functions which is have a good UI, be able to send photo's or files, be able to see the profile pic of who you're messeging and be able to change status or profile pic. iPhone/iTouch have billions of apps like this why cant Android have one. Nimbuzz is the closest thing to what I want but it crashes so much and drains the battery.
