recently, i tried to upgrade my android to the new 4.3 version. The download was successful but during installation, a red triangle keeps poping up and i revert back to version 4.1.2. I feel like i'm the only one with this problem because there are no forums for this problem yet.. how can i install 4.3 WITHOUT rooting my phone?
My provider is Bell (virgin mobile) Device is not rooted.

I come from BlackBerry, this is an OS where to install new leaks you download the leak, connect your device to the computer, double click leak, DONE. Now for android, I have flashed the device, found roms, found this, found that, did this, connected device, put roms onto sd, booted into recovery, tried to load roms and after..... From 11am to now (2:02pm, I have been trying to update this stupid thing. I get errors in the recovery mode thing. I get deleted and outdated links from youtube.

Any success on installing CaynogenMod Nightly on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1? If so what procedures did you use? I have tried using Odin, installing from the Zip file but none seem to work for me. I keep getting an error about 'unable to verify signature file'. Also what happens if format the drive on the device and then try to flash to the nightly CayongenMod file?

So, I recently updated to 4.3 on my S3 and when everything was installed, the device just rebooted and stayed on to the Samsung symbol frozen. I've tried battery pull, I've tried clearing cache. Bear in mind I DON'T want my data to be deleted, it's not backed up, however is there a way to do backup with the phone switched off or on to download mode.

I have used a method which is
Delete the google account
go to the apps
play store
remove cashe
clear data
Restart your mobile
After doing this method it is only work 2 to 3 times. But after sometime it is giving me error again.

I recently have started to experiencing the infamous 'Unfortunately, Email has stopped" error with my Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro. The phone is using Jelly Bean 4.1.2 with Kernal 3.0.31-1371191. I have been able to use the native email application to check my email for easily the last year. However, last week, it has started to produce this issue. I am not sure what changed that has started to trigger it. I normally do not install updates, but as of a result of the error I have installed all updates to current to no avail. Allow me to explain what is happening and what I have done to attempt to resolve:
1. When I open email, I can see all my unread/read email for the various mail folders. When I attempt to open any individual email it hangs for a moment, then crashes with the above message.
2. When I attempt to compose an email it crashes with the above message.
3. When I attempt to add another account, after entering the email and password it crashes again with the above message.
Things I have done:
1. Restarted my phone
2. Force stopped email
3. I installed all the latest updates, even installed the 'at&t messaging' application.
4. I have since attempted to clear data and settings for email.
5. I additionally removed my accounts and attempted to re-add them. However, I am again greeted with the crash. So now I have even less functionality then I had previously.
I have an eMoto, with Android 4.1.1 Jellybean.
I can download any app under 10mb, but anything over 10mb such as Facebook, gives me this error. I have enough space on my SD card and internal memory. Considering I can download any app under 10mb just fine. I have tried tons of apps and games over 10mb and none work, ONLY ones under 10mb.
Is there a way to update android on my phone, which could possibly eliminate this issue? Because I didn't have this problem on 4.0.1 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on another phone.
I got a new Experia Z Tablet this morning and I'm ready to throw it out of the window in a minute. I have been on android for a long time with the same email. Gmail address. I received my new tablet this morning. Turned it on and after setting up logged in with my email that have used for years and am currently using on a HTC one but I'm getting the 403 error whenever try to download an app or even re populate the tablet with the same apps I have on my phone. I've researched lots and tried the deleting cash and stop services etc. Still no joy.
I've factory reset tablet. Kept on wifi and tried again. Still the same. I've made a new Gmail account. Tried again. Still the same. I'm at a loss to what to do. If even after making a new Google log in etc it won't work where do I go now. I don't want multiple accounts I just want to have the same account across my phone and tablet. Oh and it's the lte version by the way. I've tried not entering any mobile network details and using only wifi at first and it doesn't work. Then I tried not using wifi but only using the mobile network and still the same. Also the is no proxy setting in mine to delete. I don't mind factory resetting again as I've got nothing on here anyway as I can't download any apps. With any account. Old or new.
I'm looking for a tutorial to Root and then revert back to JellyBean from KitKat on a Nexus 7 2013 2nd Gen, non carrier, WiFi only, or Whatever is required to switch back to JB from KK..

I have found the Play Store no longer supports Adobe Flash Player so I've tried to manually install the latest android v4.0 software from the archives files but even after installation it still does not let me view. I can view all the videos on my PC without a problem.

I select the page where all the apps are...select xbmc app...sometimes it flicks back to main apps page other times the screen turns black/blank. Have Slowness issuesHome screen repaints icons noticeably slowlyThere are now sticky notifications of two downloads that happened BACK IN MARCH. No matter how many times I click on clear, they come back almost immediatelyHUGE BATTERY DRAIN. THE BATTERY COMPLETELY DEPLETES AFTER 2 HOURS AT MOST, WHICH DIDN'T HAPPEN BEFORE THIS STUPID UPDATEBattery stats shows the drain is because of an app that I completely doubt did anything. When I uninstalled such app Android is now blaming Android system (or something like that), and the battery drain continues CANNOT ACTIVATE WiFi HOTSPOT ANY MORE. "Please wait while verifying" and then "A network error has occurred". Even with FoxFi, I get the same issueetc.

Checked that there is no newer update. Also, installed Kies 3.0 and it tells me my OS is not supported for updates via Kies either.
how to wipe out this update and go back to the stock original rom (4.1.1 i think).

View 7 Replies View RelatedTrying to root the phone. I'm not a linux pro... but I can't get the su binaries in the /system/bin folder. It won't let me mount the system saying 'Over-lap error'.
AND When I run deamon, it will start, then it will say it doesn't exist. But it's in the bin folder. Not the su though. Also, I can't connect to HTC through their software to sync or unlock the bootloader.

Just updated my HTC one mini to 4.3. Since updating emoticons do not show up in text messages when i type them or receive them in the standard format such as ": )" they stay as the code. They do not show up as an actual emoticon like Is there a way to enable emoticons to appear or am i stuck with selecting emoticons from the drop down menu each time I want one. Also when receiving texts with emoticons in codes such as ": )" they do not show up as emoticons.
