I had Viber before, installed and running smoothly. Then I had to factory reset my phone for some reason. And now whenever I open Viber to get my activation code the phone freezes and restarts automatically.

I have already cleared the data & cache for everything. And moved all apps that I can to SD card. It only pops up when I'm signed into facebook. I cleared the data for FB and it goes away. As soon as I sign back in it comes back. It hasnt always done this. I havent installed anything.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a tcl idol x with an Italian alcatel idol x ROM installed (android 4.2.2). The ROM seems to be okay, but my phone keeps saying im roaming, with a little R above the signal bars. Even if i disable roaming, it enables itself.

I just deleted some font with Root Explorer to directory of root>system>fonts> and reboot. When rebooted, my phone got stack to Alcatel logo. I tried Factory Reset but same thing happened. What should I do? My phone is rooted using Framaroot. When charger is plugged it is charging and also the notification light says its charging. I tried the One Touch Upgrade tool of Alcatel but it still does not work.

Language is not in the settings.I have also contacted Alcatel support but i still haven't any respond from them.
I just bought an Alcatel One Touch Pop C1 with Android 4.2. The internal memory has the folders /Music, /Ringtones, /Notifications and /media/audio/notifications (among others). My files are all fine oggs with a title tag at the very least.
Copying my oggs into /Music makes them show in the standard music app and they play fine. Immediately after copying them into /Ringtones, they all show up under ringtones and I can set any of them as my ringtone. However, none of it works for notification sounds. The notification sound picker has no Add button (the ringtone picker does) and the picker doesn't list anything except the default sounds (the ringtones picker shows every ogg there is). The option in the Messaging app shows the same unuseful picker. Rebooting doesn't work, having the files in any combination of the folders doesn't work.
In addition, the standard Contacts app doesn't seem to have a way to set a custom notification sound per contact (again, it does for ringtones). I'd like not only calls but also texts from certain contacts to have a custom sound.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just updated my S3 to 4.3 (my network is 3 - UK) and the phone is so slow! All programs crash after a few minutes of going onto them. I keep getting messages like "unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped".
Also I have no mobile network!! Everytime I click on mobile data is tells me to "insert an active sim to access network" but when I put the sim in my brothers phone the sim works.
I really don't want to do a factory reset as I have a lot of internal things saved such as pics and whatsapp conversations that I really need!
Is it possible to go back to 4.2?
So, I recently updated to 4.3 on my S3 and when everything was installed, the device just rebooted and stayed on to the Samsung symbol frozen. I've tried battery pull, I've tried clearing cache. Bear in mind I DON'T want my data to be deleted, it's not backed up, however is there a way to do backup with the phone switched off or on to download mode.

Three times, it restarted while I was using the Navigation app. I wasn't actually using the turn by turn navigation. I started it and just started up the map. It worked for about a minute and then the phone restarted. The restart while the Navigation app was running happened twice today.
Has anyone had similar experiences? Do you recall what you were doing when it restarted?

On one phone SIM, the phone works perfectly fine no complaints (in fact, its quite a good phone). However, on my 2nd SIM card, the phone has problems picking up a signal, so it spends most of its time on Emergency Call Only and then to add insult to injury, the phone will automatically restart after several minutes. I have a hard time believing that a SIM card can cause this phone to mess up but I can't explain how it works for one SIM, but not for another?

I have experienced following problems with my tablet :
1. When connected as usb storage device it restarts automatically.
2. Bluetooth once switched off can't be switched on unless device is restarted.
how come it loads slow accessing my phone/memory card items when connected to any PC, even using usb 3.0 cable or 2.0 cable, my SD card is a sandisk class 10 from my gopro so its not the sd card. and the way you view pictures is also different, example, in windows you can click on a picture in the folder and use the arrow keys on your keyboard to scroll through the pictures using left and right, but when trying to do that with the pictures connected through the phone i can't, and i cant edit pictures on the phone with right click like in windows as well.
my old g2x wasn't like this, access was just like viewing any other item on windows fast speed and able to edit picture files still on the phone,this is on a Galaxy Note 3 btw.
OK so I'm loving the note 3 so far but I need a laptop. I really want a macbook pro 13 inch with retina display for school and recreational use. My mind is pretty much set for this laptop although expensive I'm sure it will last me through college (tenth grade atm) and that's what I want. Anyway my main concern is that my phone won't sync well with the laptop and I want to be able to download stuff onto my phone, along with seeing my videos and photos. Even though its an Apple computer will it work just as well as an iPhone would with this laptop?

I know it is on because the light in the upper corner that blinks for notifications works and the soft keys light up when the power/lock button and volume button are pushed. I can not see or save what I have on my phone through Kies because I can not unlock it. I was wondering if there was any other way to unlock a phone like through a website or program, or even display a phones screen onto another device, because I have picture on here that are very important to me that I would like to save before I ship my phone in for it's replacement and lose everything. I did not have an SD card and I do not know if everything saved to my clouds or google docs.
