And after I reading the mediascanner sourcecode I think if I want to make the AAC file can be recognized in the music player I should to add following code to mediafile.java:

private static final int FIRST_AUDIO_FILE_TYPE = FILE_TYPE_MP3;
private static final int LAST_AUDIO_FILE_TYPE = FILE_TYPE_AAC;

Because the AMR file is also be handled in this way. And form
mediascanner.jave sourcecode, we can see if the aac file is only be regarded as a only aac file not the mp4 single audio. I think the mediascanner.jave should not be modified. But after I modified the mediaFile.java , then I opened the music player the aac file also cannot be seen.

Jun 28, 2010I have an HTC Magic. Yesterday I tried to upload a photo to Facebook and it didn't work - I tried twice more and still nothing. I have three "F" icons at the top of my phone which are "ongoing" but I now want to delete and clear them. Is there anyway to cancel/clear these? If I try opening them, they take me straight to Facebook's notification page. If I hold my finger on them, nothing happens (as it does when deleting other things).

Jan 4, 2012I've been trying to upload my music to Google Music, and I ran into an issue yesterday when I saw that it stopped uploading. I had it running for about a week and I have roughly 3700 songs on my computer (in iTunes). It stopped at around 2400 songs and won't add anymore, and I'm not entirely sure why. Of those 3700 songs, only about 300 were purchased from iTunes, the rest are CDs or songs that I permanenly borrowed during the Napster days. I double checked the songs that are missing, and there really isn't too much rhyme or reason as to why they're not there.

I'm not sure if this is a setting that needs to be turned off because I have not found it yet. The music stops whenever I unplug it. I have USB debugging enabled as well.

I can't see an option to ask Google Play Music to look into Google Drive and upload the music from there. Jul 3, 2013I am on a standard website that has a normal upload button, I need to upload a PDF file, But when I click on the upload button on the web site a popup window from my Android phone appears and says "Choose action" and gives me access to the gallery, camcorder, voice recorder , choose music track, gallery (again), select music track and voice recorder (again).
I need to some how get access to my SD card and my download folder to be able to pick the the pdf file that I need to upload. I have tried this both on the default internet browser and Google Chrome, but both give the same options.

It was working before the upgrade, e.g. by using the VideoView class and providing an RTSP URL. But the same test which was working before fails now. The RTSP OPTIONS and DESCRIBES exchanges are OK, and then there is a "PVMFFailure" in the Log, and a popup saying "Sorry, this Video can't be played".(Note: I removed a similar message that I sent yesterday because it contained broken links)

Aug 18, 2009Sadly, the Android Market in Canada does not have any paid apps. I was just wondering is there any way I can put themes onto my phone? I find that it really sucks that I can't use any of the dxtop themes or openhome themes in the market unless I actually have the app itself (which I cannot purchase).
