HTC Incredible :: Stream Music To Xbox 360?

Is there a way to stream music to my xbox 360?
I have been researching for some time now, but have yet to come up with an actual fix. I have my Incredible paired with my Altima and can make calls via Bluetooth with no problem. My question is, how can I wirelessly stream music or Pandora from my phone to my car (Altima does not have an aux jack). I know my car is capable because I was able to do this with my old Blackberry (exactly how I don't remember, it was an intricate process of pressing random buttons).

View 14 Replies View RelatedOkay so I'm trying to listen to music from my phone (HTC inspire) to my Xbox 360. Both are running on same internet one is wired(Xbox) and my phone is wireless.. I'm getting two bars Max 1 mostly. And everytime I'm listening to music using both airsync and even imediashare about 3 songs it music just stops. I figured it was my screen turning off so I kept it on and in the middle of my song it stops... then whenever I go to change the song on the 360 my Xbox freezes due to the app -.+ I can't seem to get any of these apps to work and its really frustrating because I just wanna listen to music. (Do not troll and tell me to buy a new router, Xbox, go to ps3 or any of those lame things.)

View 2 Replies View RelatedEverytime my phone connects with my car stereo (Clarion FB275btb) it starts to stream music. It even tries to stream if the music player is closed. After I stop the music and and put the stereo into another mode it works fine. If I later get a call it acts normally, but after I end the call it starts to stream music again! Any ideas on what the problem might be? My stereo worked fine with my behold I and nokia 5310.

That way I can use my reciever and suround speakers to listen to the music. I was looking for an app...I found imediashare, but it looks to share files just like allshare. I'd rather not go out and buy bluetooth speakers in multiple rooms in the house..does anyone know of an app that will do this ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am wondering if there any music apps (besides Pandora, Last.fm, imeem, Slacker, etc.) that will play the song that I want it to? For example, say I want to listen to Empire State of Mind by Jay-Z, what app can I go to and type in "Empire State of Mind" and listen to that song, instead of "similar songs"?All of these Pandora, Slacker, etc apps are exactly the same. Why can't I listen to the song I want instead of similar songs? I just don't get it.

View 7 Replies View RelatedWhat I'm looking to do is stream music via the Google Music app from my phone to my PC (Windows 7). I tried an app called Music Remote which lets you stream music that you're playing via the Google Music app to any other Android device that has Music Remote installed on it. You set up one device as a server, one as a client. I used Bluestacks to run the Music Remote app on my PC, set it up as a server, but I can't see it on my phone. Or vice versa.
I could just use something like Gmote but the problem is that all my music is in the cloud (I have almost none on my PC or phone), so I need something that will basically take the audio that's playing on my phone and stream it to my PC.
The only other option I can think of is to get a cheap used Android phone, hook it up to my stereo, and stream to that phone. But I'd rather not do that.
Or I could buy a Nexus Q, but that's stupid. My PC should work as a sever - same as the Nexus Q.
Basically, I want to be able to lay in bed and control my stereo via my phone (my PC is my stereo). Also, I don't want to use Bluetooth because of the sound quality issues.
I'm on a Gnex with 4.1 btw.
is there a PC Server Client and Android app combo I could use?I have 90gigs of music on my home pc, and I'd love an app that could stream that music via my home wi-fi. Not going through any intermediary web services.Basically, Point to local music folders in the PC client, activate the server, browse media on my phone Just like TVersity, but for android devices.I know there is an app in dev called "FIVE" but that's not out yet,
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've searched several forums but it's been hard to find a clear-cut answer for the app I'm looking for. There is an app for iphone called "here file file" that from what I understand allows a user to access and play pretty much any file such as audio and video on their iphone that is on their Mac. You don't have to be at home using your own wifi connection or any wifi connection for that matter. So basically you can access your Mac files from anywhere and play them on your iphone. I've seen remote desktop apps but I'm not sure they do the same thing and I've seen mention of things like orb and vlc but does anyone know if they do what I'm looking for? I have a new Samsung Moment and would love to be able to do this.

1. Go to Settings > Applications and then check the box called Unknown sources.
2. Use the phones browser and go to http://www.mecanto.com/ms and select "Android beta version".
3. After software is downloaded, press on the downloaded application and MeCanto will be installed.
4. Start MeCanto and enter your user name & password
You install a small server on your computer (get it from Mecanto site), then direct it to your media folders. It indexes your files (taking a long time if you have .5TB of music, like me). It then starts uploading your files to their server, where only you can access them (read their FAQ for privacy concerns). Before they are uploaded, though, you can stream directly from your computer. It's kind-of a weird system; I wish it would just stream. For me, playback stutters and skips a lot, but I'm wondering if it's just because I have the $10 internet plan (not the $25 smartphone plan, which may be faster). I do always have 3G (indicated as such anyway).
I've been through the tutorials, and have started on the learning curve, however when I try any combination of examples available that promise to stream audio I have run into problems, the main one being syntax.
Im using Eclipse on ubuntu, and the end target is 2.1 (ZTE racer).
I have all my music in the cloud on Google music. So I have no songs directly on my phone. Is it possible for me to stream music to my stereo through a regular media streamer such as the Western digital ones, using the Google music app?
I can't seem to find an answer to this. But I have found that some players can't play music from my phone because the music isn't physically there but rather in the cloud. So I'm curious to know if that is an issue before I buy a media streamer..
I've been looking a various solutions to stream music to a Hi-Fi such as Squeeze Box and Sonos, and am wondering if I could use my trusty old SGSI i9000 to stream from a NAS or other DLNA enabled device? I believe to Wolfson DAC is quite good for a phone, so I could connect the phone to the amp with a phono lead, but I also wonder if I could attached an external DAC via a USB adapter to improve the sound output. I know this can be done on the S3 and some tablets, but not sure of the situation with other phones. I am ok with routing and custom ROMs. I do not want to play music stored on the phone, as my library is already 200gb and rising, but use it as a conduit to get the music from storage to the Hi-Fi

Most importantly i dont want to have an active internet connection for streaming . Although Wireless LAN can be an option .
Audiogalaxy has finally open the floodgates and is allowing sign ups to their cloud streaming service. It's free and for android. You download their app to your phone, as well as the client for your computer, which scans your music collection in the designated folder and allows you to stream it to your phone. So far, it works great! It has some mis-tagging issues (it'll auto-tag on the website, which won't affect your actual files), and playlists are limited to 500 at the moment (which only bugs me because my favorites playlist on my now-dying Zune is well over 500 tracks) but the developers are taking all the feedback and are hard at work. This is the best service of its kind so far, I dare say.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI've seen threads on remote desktop but I want to be able to stream music from my laptop at home to my droid on the go. However, I want to be able to play all my music through winamp (because of it's preset EQ).
Is there a way I can remote desktop into my laptop through my droid so I can see the actual windows background of my home laptop (I have W7 Ultimate) and stream music to the phone by playing it through winamp?
I want to be able to listen to flac (which is the something droid can't do) which is one of the reasons I want to go through all this.
I recently found airplay (and hairplay) for my mums mac air and are running hairplay on a raspberry PI for her. I do really miss this feature on my android, I want to get home from work and immediately be able to stream my Spotify music to my miniMAC HTPC connected to all speakers at home.
How can I stream my music from my handset to my home speakers through the wifi network? I got a rooted ZTE Blade now with CM7.Im waiting for my Nexus 4 and will flash CyanogenMod on it really soon so Root access is possible if it involves that.
I have an Epic 4G through Sprint.I am a DJ and I like to listen to other DJ's mixes that are hosted online. I guess they are kinda like podcasts but only audio. An example is a site called PodOMatic. Another is called Soundcloud and another is Mixcrate.com.If I follow a DJ's link to their upload on my PC, I can listen to the full mix. Sometimes I will even download the mix and listen to the mp3 file on a mp3 player or something. Now, If I follow a link on my phone, I can not listen. The player (java? flash?) will not even show. Soundcloud is the only site that seems to work, but I only get to listen to a couple minutes of the song.Is there a way to stream these types of files through my phone? Can I download the files to my phone, then listen later? Surely there is an app for this?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm a music fan and I'd like to listen to it on my phone as well. I have an HTC One XL with the latest Viper ROM.
I have tried the following options.
1. Downloaded numerous apps (PVStar, NextVid and the likes). Some worked but not to my satisfaction. They're either very laggy or buggy or have unattractive UI to use.
2. Visited sites like youtify.com and tried on various browsers. (Chrome, firefox, UC, Dolphin, Opera etc.) hoping it won't stop playing audio when switched to another app or screen locked. On chrome and all the others it just stops playing audio when you switch to another app. On firefox it works but when screen is locked, audio becomes choppy (app's priority gets lower I think slowly). I tried to search for apps which can keep an app's priority higher but in no vain.
3. I also tried to find alternatives to Youtube like grooveshark app but it just keeps crashing whenever other apps are launched. I also tried Radio apps like TuneIn radio or pandora but you can't search for specific songs there.
Also some YouTube videos are specifically blocked by Google itself to not stream it to other apps/sites I think. How can we avoid this?
So, basically my problem is I need to be able to search and stream Youtube videos (Preferably have my own saved playlists) on my android phone while the screen is locked or in background while accessing other apps. (I know google is trying to bring 'play in background' feature to YouTube app itself but we can't create playlists there if I'm not wrong).
Wondering if there's an app that works really well to stream music from my phone (HTC Evo 4g LTE) to my speakers that are hooked to an airport extreme. The ones I have been able to find on the market don't work very well.

I have a eciplse 2 an440 something like that. When I do a bluetooth scan it finds my phone and sets up profiles for car calls but that's it. It does not find bluetooth stereo. Do I need to download a bluetooth audio player or should I check to make sure my stereo supports it.
