Not sure if this is a known issue, but WTF? i am still getting a bright sunshine and the temp if off by 7 degrees, plus i have it set to update every hour. Is there a fix?

Its 10pm and dark as can be. Yet this Weather Widget is telling me its 78 and partly sunny, after numerous reloads!
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo since the 2.1 OTA my weather widget will display the city, but no weather icon. if i sync it manually, it will show up. with 1.5 it would update every 3 hours, regardless if i had Background data on or off (i normally keep it off).
so now with 2.1 it wont sync unless i have BG data on, or do it manually. any way around this?
Is there a simple weather widget that will display the current temperature on my home screen in a small size, like the size of a single icon? Something like what's on the Multimedia screen would be great. I don't want future weather, radar or maps... just the current temperature.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOn both the clock/weather and regular weather widgets I am getting the correct weather but the icon to represent what it looks like outside is off. For example, posting this at 9:30am, the moon icon is on the screen. I'm not quite sure what is causing this to happen.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried removing it and adding it back about ten times and it still won't show the weather..just says "my location" under the clock. If I click on the clock and load it, I can then click on the clock and it will load the weather screen, updated and all...but it still refuses to load it on the home screen with the time. Happened a few days after froyo update. How can I get the weather back as part of the clock widget??

I didn't ask whether it also had the clock.Is this one that comes with Sense or is it one I should download for her somewhere? View 16 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure why, but the weather widget says that my city doesn't exist. I want to put it to Apple Valley, CA but nothing comes up. I checked the 3 nearest cities and they all did not exist either (Victorville, Hesperia, and Barstow). Can anyone else try adding the city to theirs and see if it pops up for them? I wonder if it's a bug with mine.

My wife's is working and shows our town, but mine just sits there blank with the town name saying no information is found.
I deleted the widget off the screen and readded it. I pulled the battery. Neither worked.

I tap the sun/moon to get into the weather gadget, tap settings, on the top is a box to allow auto update. When its checked I get a warning of data use, allow, then back out to home. When I go back to weather settings, the box isn't checked.

Does anyone know where HTC gets its info from? I like having the temperature displayed under the clock, but not if it is inaccurate. I also compared the HTC temp to a reading off of a wireless window thermometer and it did not agree.
