There are a couple of web sites that I visit where they have pop up boxes to enter username and passwords. When I try to do this on the DINC it doesn't seem to work. Is there a trick?

I just got my new DInc and I was wondering if there is a better way to enter contact info/phone numbers. I was using a blackberry on Tmobile, and just received my DInc via the mail. Do I need to enter in all my old numbers manually? Or is there an easier way to do it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I got my dinc everything worked. It would vibrate and ring at the same time for calls and vibe and tone w a text. Now it won't vibrate at all except when reported. Using stock testing nuthin special. Is this a phone problem or what? Yes both settings for calls are set to vibrate and I have tried to restart the phone twice.

I wonder if they are interchangeable? I am rather nervous to randomly plug it in and to my computer as I am, by NO means, technically savy.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo my Dinc which I bought on launch day blew the front speaker yesterday. I called Verizon and they are shipping me a brand new Dinc out today. My question is, I have already rooted my phone and installed like 50 apps on it with tons of other crap, settings, data, etc. I have made multiple nandroid backups and titanium backups. Can I just save the backups on my SD card then get my hands on the new Dinc, root that one as well then use my backups on the SD card to just load everything on to the new phone so I don't have to go through the process of re-setting up my entire phone again?

View 5 Replies View Related I have a Galaxy SII i777 4.1.2, rooted. Things were going ok after the factory reset, but I noticed that the battery was taking forever to charge and was draining extremely fast. I don't know if the fact that the telephone was running my data manager, data usage defender, battery doctor, watchdog and memory booster for one day has anything to do with this (although the battery drainage and high consumption of data was before I installed those apps and it was the reason why I did installed them this time). But today (hours after I uninstalled battery doctor, data usage defender and memory booster) the battery got quickly drained and the phone seemed dead (it didn't want to turn on and i couldn't see the icon indicating it was charging when connected). So, I inserted my sister's battery, took it out, and put my battery again. This time the phone turned on, BUT I see a message saying "enter password to use encrypted device storage." I only use four passwords for all my accounts but none of them work. I have tried different wrong passwords (as recommended) like 30 times, and nothing happens. I read somewhere that I could start ODIN, which I'm not knowledgeable of. But I don't know what to do. I pressed the power button and the volume keys, and all is showing is a green man icon and a "Downloading" message. It's been like an hour already and it keeps "downloading."
I don't remember having encrypted my phone. And if I did, I could have only used one of my four passwords.
The phone I'm using right now has a lock on it, so I need to enter a password in able to have access to my cellphone. Does the samsung moment have an option to lock your phone and enter a password to get in? I already looked on the sprint website, but if anyone knows (or can find out with their Samsung moment), it would be really appreciated by me! I really would like to buy this phone!

One quick question: when I try to check my voice mail and it ask me to type in password and hit pound button for some reason when I hit dial pad it flashes on and off and doesn't let me keep it on to punch in my password. Any thoughts on how I can fix that. When I notice I have a voice mail I swipe the notification bar and dial voice mail that way.

I'm curious as to whether anyone else is having this problem or if it's just me. I just updated to the latest Tapatalk 1.8.0 and find I can't login to the forum I use it with (no, not this one). When I enter my user name and password it just bounces back to the login screen with no complaint.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI got an incredible yesterday.Been trying to get Exchange active sync to work.The problem is that no matter what option I choose in Schedule (as items arrive, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc...), the phone always defaults back to Manual.Nothing I do will make the change stick.I've tried a battery pull, deleting the account multiple times and re-adding it.I even installed the trial version of touchdown to make sure push email was set up correctly on the server and it works perfectly in touchdown.Any thoughts?I've done about everything I can think of.I don't want to buy touchdown because this should work for free.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI tried installing OpenDesire 4 on my rooted Desire earlier, which didn't work. I ended up seeing the flashing Android logo on a black screen when trying to boot and can't get past it.
So, as I have a nandroid backup, I figured I could use that to recover. BUT, when I hold the volume down button and boot the phone, it just goes to the HBOOT screen. I cannot get into the recovery menu. If I select recovery from HBOOT, it just goes to a black screen.
I have tried reflashing using unrEVOked3 and the recovery-clockwork-2.5.0.1-bravo-slcd image, but it didn't fix this problem.
i am not able enter flash mode in my X10i device i wanted to flash kernel.
I followed all the procedure:
1) by holding back button & plugged in USB cable.
2) my phone got recognized in the flash tool. Got a message stating "Device connected in flash mode"
3) then my device did not stay much longer in flash mode (less then 10 sec). After that it automatically booted to phone charging screen.

It seems to pair, but when the password is needed the phone automatically exists entry and says pairing unable to complete. The headset has been connected to another phone to make sure it wasnt the problem, and everything was fine. Plz help

View 12 Replies View RelatedThe battery in the Magellan in my car died and I didn't have a charger with me. So I pressed my DInc into service as a GPS unit. I must admit it performed remarkably well. The user interface on it wasn't as smooth as the Magellan, but the Magellan is designed to function as a GPS and only a GPS and the DInc isn't. The only problem I had with it is I couldn't see the screen as the screen was washed out in the sunlight. Is there any way to combat this? How can I use this as a GPS replacement if I can't see the screen?
