If you are planning on buys a microSD card for your incredible just FYI make sure to get a class-6 high speed card.
I am considering getting an upgrade on my MicroSD. But not sure which class to buy.
How does higher MicroSD HC speed of class 4 and 6 helps with Xperia X10 performance?
Any changes based on your experience?
Considering Xperia X10 processor Input and Output MB/s VS. Class 2 (2MB/s), Class 4 (4MB/s), Class (6MB/s)
My Phone will be back from repairing This week and I need new Microsd card. I want 16Gb 4 or 6 Class. Maybe you could recommend something?

View 39 Replies View RelatedJust in case anyone wants to try this / if it has happened to anyone else. I didn't have a pre order for the Incredible but when I went in to exchange my current 10 day old phone for one the manager went to transfer the contacts over and apparently their machine cannot transfer anything to the internal Incredible memory. I received a free 2gb memory card to make up for it ($24.99 savings woot).
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I install it, are there files Android saved on my old microSD card I need to copy to my computer and transfer to the new card? It seems like most files are saved to the SD card rather than the internal memory for my apps and don't want to cause any issues when I put the new one in.

I am not sure if it's worth spending the extra money for a class 6 (8MB/sec) 16 GB micro SD card vs a class 2 (2MB/sec), as I'm not sure the Milestone will support it.
With all the talk in this forum of SD cards & class differences, I thought this was worth passing along (Available free in the Market)I came across this app & tested my SD card. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently bought this Smartphone, and I am planning to change the original 8GB micro SD card with a 16GB micro SD. But what class of memory which suitable for my Xperia Neo.
Should I buy class 2, 4, 6 or 10 ? Cos I don't want it effects on the phone's performance, if I choose the wrong class memory.
I have a class 2 16gb sandisk card, would I notice a difference with a class 6? And would a class 6 card snap photos faster. And with that I mean no lag after the photo is taken.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am a big fan of mythbusters and i'll bet that many of your are too. I like all those high speed camera shoots and i was thinking if would it be possible to make an app to use the camera to shoot high speed videos. I am not thinking like professional high speed video (those go up to millions of fps) but more like up to 1000 or 500. The desire should be able to shoot hd 720p video (lets hope with the next update) and may be would be possible to to make lower resolution high speed videos. I think the cpu is enough, but would the camera be able?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just recently started using pdanet when my high speed internet connection at home was having issues. Oddly i found it to be very fast and work pretty flawlessly from my droid. My question is during the summer i have a 2nd home which has no option for high speed connections, but does get 3g Verizon. I mostly would use my laptop for reading emails and teaching online classes through my college. Has anyone on Verizon ever had issues using bandwidth through a tethered device as i described? I know there is this on going battle of whether our unlimited plans are truly unlimited or not. I would not use massive loads of data but i do not want to incur problems with my service either. Love to hear your opinions.

I am fairly sure that the HTC Sync installation file was on there, but I think there was some music as the music widget had a song on it but after the format there wasn't anything.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm looking to get a microSD card for my EVO by the 4th and I want to know what I should go for. I know Class 6 is the fastest, so that's what I thought I wanted to get and I wanted to get a 16gb but it looks like it's $80 on Amazon. Now, that's damn expensive for 16gb of storage and I'm not used to buying storage for my phone since I've had an iPhone. Is it worth it to drop to a lower storage capacity or a lower speed? How much of a difference does the transfer speed make on the phone? Does it hinder the speed of the phone at all? Also, for those lucky bastards that got the HTC EVO ahead of time, what kind of card comes with it?
View 10 Replies View RelatedWith the problems I've been hearing about the SD card that's included with the EVO, I've been in a quandary over what to do: I have an 8GB Class 6 MicroSD Card that I believe trumps the included Class 2 card that comes with the EVO, so I expect I will move everything over to that card....which begs the following - I've copied over all the photos, videos, documents, and music from my card to my PC. Should I just reformat the SD card in the device, and then copy these files over? Could I just use the SD card as I have it currently set up (I have it in my Hero at this point, running 2.1). Or should I copy the contents of the new card to my PC, add the files from my old card to that, reformat my Class 6 card, and then copy the files from the PC to this card?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm looking to buy a slightly bigger card for my hero, especially since apps2sd has stolen some of the space on my card now. This is the card I was thinking of going with, Play.com (UK) - Mobile - Free Delivery But since I've never purchased anything like this before, just wanted to check this is the right thing. It's listed as 'Micro SDHC Plus', but I take it that's just marketing spiel for plain old Micro SD rather than a different type of card?

Can I upgrade to the following Micro SD cards: SanDisk 16GB microSD HC Memory Card or SanDisk 32GB extreme III CompactFlash Memory card

View 3 Replies View RelatedYou might have seen this around the forums or other places: 32GB MicroSD. Its the 32GB MicroSD that Verizon is selling for $99 with FREE overnight shipping for their phones. You can buy it without having anything with Verizon, though.
I now have mine installed in my Captivate and the thing is great. I have 29GB of Music/Videos/Pictures loaded up on it and playing back ANYTHING on my phone is fast and doesn't stutter. I know I had some questions about this so I just wanted to post that yes, you CAN enjoy 48GB of space on a Captivate without worrying about Class size speed issues, worrying about the card being fake, etc. Well worth the 100 bucks. The money you can save from Wirefly/Amazon/Walmart etc can easily pay for this.
May I know what's the highest MicroSD card capicity supported by HTC
