So I was sent a pic and it gives me the download button and when I click it it will think then pop a message saying that the download failed. It happened yesterday from a different number also. Doesnt matter if I use the standard message or handcent, Anyone have any ideas?

I'm not sure if this question has been addressed or asked yet, and I couldn't find anything using the search feature, so I'll ask anyways.
Sometimes I get email notifications (using HTC Mail) and I open Mail and go to the new message, but all that shows up is a timestamp of "Wed, Dec 31, 1969 7:00 PM" with no subject, body, or even sender. It's like the email didn't download or I can't view it for some other reason.
I have a selection for some items using a spinner widget. At the moment the spinner will load a simple Textview and show the name of the item.It is possible to define an own view to show inside the spinner row? I would suspect it being similar to a custom List row.I simply want to show an individual icon left from the spinner text for each item in the list.

I have attached a click event listener to the View, so it is clickable. But then I click it, I cant see that I am clicking it - there is no change in color.
So, Im thought that I'd attach a "onPress" listener, and then change the background of the view but I couldnt find such a listener.
So, the question is - how do I create the behaviour on the View so I can see that it is being pressed? this is normally done in Android with a green background to indicate that it is now being pressed.

Actually, the doSomeLoading consists of a for loop counting to ten millions and doing nothing. Now it just waits for loop to be done and shows the second view.
I would really appreciate a solution without having to create a separate Thread, because it seems to be pointless, invalidate().

If I am going through my calendar day by day it shows me from about 8am to 5pm. If there's anything before 8am or after 5pm, I don't see it without scrolling. On my old Treo, it would get rid of some of the unallocated hours between 8am to 5pm to ensure other events fit on the screen. Anyway to do this within the Calendar? I'm using Agenda in the meantime but would really like to see just the day's events for whatever day I'm looking at.

The trouble is when the ScrollView has many items (requiring scrolling), it prevents the button at the bottom from showing. The bottom button is sort of pushed off the screen. Look at the code below. I am not able to view SDCard folder in FileExplorer of DDMS in Android.
But I was able to view SDCard folder when I used adb command from command prompt like below:

So I have the nexus 3D gallery app installed on my 2.1 Eris. It works fine other than it refuses to generate thumbnails sometimes. They just show up as grey boxes. Once it finally does generate the thumbnails, it's fine, but sometimes they just won't generate. For example, I took some pics this past Sunday and the thumbnails are still just showing up as grey boxes. It takes several cycles of closing gallery, opening gallery, closing, opening, etc. etc. to get it to finally generate all the thumbnails, then they're fine. Oh, and sometimes they don't show up at all. Seems this app is very buggy on the Eris.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI use the backgrounds app, and it lets me save backgrounds to my SD card. I go into Astro/ sdcard/ backgrounds and then click on the picture. It gives me 2 options to open it. "ASTRO Image Viewer" and "View picture". For me to use it as a background I have to pull it up in "View picture", BUT....no matter how many times I try and pull it up that way, it shows me the first picture in my camera album. If I click "ASTRO Image Viewer", I can always see the picture I selected, but under menu, I only have the option to "share" and nothing else. Can you tell me why the selected picture won't show up in "View picture"?
