May 11, 2010My question is since the live wallpapers is an apk and it has been ported to a few other devices, why has it not been ported to the droid eris. We know that with the OTA we won't be getting live wallpapers, so for the people that want them I say we should try to port it over to the Eris. Unfortunately I have close to no knowledge on how to port. If anyone knows how to and is willing to it would be greatly appreciated.

Jul 14, 2010Just rooted my v3 leak phone today Yay me! Well anyways I installed Evil Eris 3.0 and it works great and all but I wanted to try live wallpapers so when I flashed the live wallpapers.zip after installing Evil eris a lot of the icons, pngs, user interfaces, etc. are messed up. So I swiped the phone, installed evil eris, and flashed the live wallpapers.zip again but have the exact same problem. Can any one help?

Apr 5, 2010Anyone figure out a fix for keeping live wallpaper running. I've tried changing the screen sleep to never and after I turn the screen off and then on again with the end button the live wallpaper is no longer running. I've had just about every wallpaper except the maps stop running on me.

Note: To install this you must have the Amon recovery image installed. Place the .zip file in your sdcard root, reboot into recovery, flash dalvik and data, then flash the rom from the sdcard. Note2: Sense is enabled by default. To use all the features, disable Sense and use Home. Warning: Most live wallpapers and the Flan gallery DO NOT WORK with the Nexus Launcher, so if you choose to use the Nexus Launcher over Home, don't use Live Wallpapers or Flan. Also, the Galaxy wallpaper doesn't work at all. Some of the live wallpapers will disappear after the phone locks as well. Like I said, this is just a BETA TEST rom to give ya'll a taste of stuff to come. I won't be offering support for it, so don't use it unless you somewhat know what you're doing, and just want to play around with stuff.

Sep 13, 2010Been working my way through all the settings on my phone since rooting my Eris with KaosFroyo. Loving everything but a few minor glitches.
1. QuickProfiles does and FC when you try to edit a profile to change any of the Volume settings.
2. I would like an aquarium live wallpaper. None seem to work, even the smoke wallpaper included in the image. I have seen comments by Kaos that the LWP must be sized for Eris, but I see no way to check that. Particularly frustrating is that the preview works great.
3. I miss my default Eris digital clock and weather widget. Is there a separate install for that?

Jul 16, 2010Ok its my 1st post and Ive just bought my 1st smart phone. I'm amazed and what it can do... And I'm also a COMPLETE IDIOT as to what it can and cannot do! I have my wallpapers on the desire now no problems there... Now I want to ADD a live wallpaper or screensaver to my phone. I do things the simple way I connected my phone to my pc (not sync) waited for autoplay and opened up the sd card and added (by making new folders) my ringtones, pictures, videos and wallpapers all work perfectly... and I'm very happy! NOW I have my football team gif that I want to run on my phone in the background just like a live wallpaper... I downloaded the gif from a website that said it was a screensaver for my HTC Desire! I cant find the live wallpaper folder at all (where the built in live wallpapers are) in order to add my gif to it... I made a second folder and called it live wallpaper 1st and then screensaver and in both cases it does see the file but will only let me add the gif as a wallpaper image and not a moving image/screensaver/live wallpaper. Do I need to convert it from a gif to something else.
