I recently downloaded NESoidlite, Gearoidlite, and SNESoidlite. I know that I need roms in order to play games. I have found a bunch located at www.theoldcomputer.com However, how exactly does this process work? Do I browse to this site from my phone and then save the file. This is my first smartphone.
View 9 Replies View Relatedafter I had surfing internet for a while, I had found a workaround and successfully installed Google Play Services on my device (GT-S5300) with custom rom.

Steps:
1. Download Gapps for your ROM here.
2. Turn off your phone.
3. Enter recovery mode and do Wipe data/factory reset. (Make sure that you have backed up everything.)
4. Flash the Gapps.
5. Wipe Dalvik cache and cache partition then reboot.
6. Get the lastest version of Google Play Store and install it.
7. Update all the Gapps via Play Store.
8. Then install Google Play Services and done!
Or open the Market (Play Store) and tap agree. Then press home and leave it awhile. After the Play Store is updated, open it and tap agree again. The new Play Store should download Google Play Services and install it for you.
NOTE: It may NOT working with some ROMs.
Does anyone know the UUID to connect an android 2.2 device to a WiiMote? The wiimote will not pair, as the wiimote does not require a PIN #.
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust wondering if anyone has been able to use the wiimote app with TV-out/HDMI on any phone yet?.. I have been on the lookout for a while now, but nothing mentioned thus far..
It is pretty much the only thing that I'm wanting for on my N1.
I'm on vacation right now, but can someone confirm if the update fixes the bluetooth with the wiimote.
View 1 Replies View RelatedNeed more buttons and better controller layout now for psx4droid, and regular Wii remote not gonna cut it for me. The Wii Classic Controller Pro looks like a good one though, but does anybody know if it'll work with the Wiimote app? Don't wanna go shell out $20 for it if its not compatible.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI was just wondering if anyone had heard anything about the epic getting future wiimote compatability. I had also heard some rumors about some ps3 controller code being found on the epic's programming.

The device is rooted on the wildpuzzel ROM. Any hacks or advice to make this work.
I have been trying to connect my wiimote controller to my phone using bluetooth. There are a few apps in the market that allow this to work and most people seem to be having success with this app while I keep getting that error when I ever I try to connect it.
I've tried 3 wii controller apps with no success. Is this a Moment issue? Has anyone else been having the same problem?
Cant seem to get my wiimotes to connect to my new Cappy, i dl the free versions of the market place but none work. My BT does see them just wont connect via the program. any ideas?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo PSX4Droid finally got released from the clutches of Google Market about an hour ago. Only problem now is I can't seem to get any roms to work. I set up a PSXROMS folder on my SD card, and my first d/l was Metal Gear Solid disc 1 and 2. I got them from here PSX ISO Download Section. So I downloaded the .rar, unzipped to get the .bin (says it's compatible), open the emulator, the emulator sees the files in the folder, I click it, it refreshes the rom screen. The emulator doesn't start. Am I doing something wrong? Wrong file type?

Whats the difference between a 2.0.1 ROM and 2.1 ROM?
I've been rooted for awhile and always stuck with either AdamZ ROM or Pete's Bugless Beast and they were all based off of 2.0.1. Is there something special I need to do in order to run a ROM based off of 2.1?
I'm currently running Warm TpT and I love it, and just wanted to know what the difference is between ROMS w/ Sense opposed to ROMS w/o Sense. I live in an area w/ 4g and am quite fond of it so I've stuck w/ ROMS running sense. Also, are there any Senseless ROMS that have 4g?
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust a little heads up out there for people like me who flash roms ten times a day. If you haven't already experienced this issue, you are likely to come across it in the future.
It is probably a good idea to make a backup of the contents of your sd card to keep when flashing from an a2sd enable rom to a non a2sd enabled rom. If your partitioned for a2sd and flash a non a2sd rom it will hold you phone at the boot screen or send you into an endless boot cycle.
I had to take everything off my sd card, re format the card, then flash the rom before I could load everthing back onto the card.
I may be a total noob, and for all you smart people this is probably a no brainer. But if I can keep anyone else from having this headache I thought it best to post it.
I just received an MP4 video that plays really well on my Hero. But it is not visible in the photo gallery of my phone. It's grayed out. When I go into my SD card with a file manager and click on it the movie will play perfectly but it won't play though the photo gallery manager. My real issue is that I have to go into a file manager to find the file and play it instead of using a widget to call up a program that will play it. There is obviously something in the phone that can handle the MP4 format and I just need to know what program to use.
View 4 Replies View RelatedRecently I've been having an issue with Google Play Music where when I play a song, it plays for a second then pauses, so I have to press play to get it going again. This occurs repetitively which means I can't listen to music.
It happens on songs that are being streamed and on songs that are on the device.
Funnily enough, if the song is played through ES file explorer and the little play music popup window comes up, it plays fine.
I've got this issue on both my devices, a tf101 running 4.3 and a nexus 5 with stock 4.4 rooted.
Edit: just remembered, I've also got this issue with MX Player and videos. I can't figure out what's wrong.
Streamed videos played through the gallery video player work fine.
How I can stop update the google play version automatically ??
Because if I donwgrade them to 4.0 he automatically update to 4.3 !!
I was just wondering if the Droid can handle voice commands such as "Play Music", "Party Shuffle", "Play (Artist)", "Play (Song)", "Play (Album)", "Open Email", "Play (Video)", etc, etc; or if there are plans for this in the future firmware? I personally could make use of this, especially "Play (Artist)". I tried to make it play a song and it called my grandma ):
Also, can anyone tell me the difference between voice search and voice dialer? It seems like when I use voice dialer, I say "Call Home" and a list of options pops up of who to call (one choice being Home) (When I wish it would have just automatically called Home), but if I use voice search it automatically does call Home.
I took out the 8GB SD card from my Blackberry Storm and put it the Incredible.
I had a bunch of music saved on my SD Card that I downloaded from VZW Music Media thing.
When I go to music on the Incredible and go over the song (it shows the picture of the album of the song)
it says "unable to play this type of audio"
Like the title says, how can I get the Iris to play gifs.
View 7 Replies View RelatedComing from a Iphone to the X the music player is a little lacking. Often I will go into a certain artist and want to play all the songs by that artist, or thumb through all their songs to find a certain one. On the stock music player on the X this seems hard to do (maybe I'm missing something).
if I pull up the music by artist and select a certain artist then it shows me all their albums (The iphone has the option at this point to select all albums and see all the songs of that artist in alphabetical order). The X doesn't give a option to select all albums at this point. If I go to artists and long press on a certain artist I can select play and it will start playing all that artists songs, then I can hit pause and go into the list from that point to see all the songs but they seem to be in a random order making it hard to find a specific song.
I've tried a couple other players and haven't been able to find one that functions like the Iphone, makes it hard to quickly find one song.

View 5 Replies View RelatedOn the pre you had Preware to download patches (tweaks), the process was simple, just click the patch you wanted, self installed, thats it...patches were for anything that would enchance individual functions of your phone, not "replacing", but enhancing the way certain functions worked.....for the EVO, I assume these are "ROMS", is there such an app as Preware where we can on the phone search through ROMS, click and self install? Or is installing ROMS on Android more technically involved? Also, where can one find a directory of these roms that are organized in order of what they are for?
