Mar 11, 2010So as of a Tuesday the 9th all my mms messages are starting to show as a group now instead of having to open them one by one. Anyone else notice this? Did HTC/verizon push a hidden/secret update? I had coupled friends resend me some multi picture texts from before and know they work like they should. Any input? Are they working on 2.1?

Aug 2, 2010We recieved a text with a 'slideshow' attachment. It has a .qcp extension. When I tap on it it appears to be trying to play a 23 second audio, tiny grandsons signing Happy Birthday to Grandma. There is no sound.
How do I hear this? I was able to 'save' it, but I can't find it with Astro. I have heard I could email it to myself and it will arrive as a .wav - but if that would work, how do I do it?

Sep 26, 2010I thought there was something built in that would allow me to do slide shows with my pictures. However now that I'm looking for it I can't find it. Is there a way to do a slide show? I would really like an app I can start while my phone is docked so it works as a kind of screen saver/photo frame.

Nov 18, 2009I started another post because my slideshow does not work w/ my new Media Dock, BUT come to find out the Slideshow does not work out of the dock either. I had just never tried/played it. So I figured I would start a new post in case anyone else has this issue in the future. I have tried messing w all the slideshow settings and nothing helps it, all I get is 1 picture that comes up and never changes?

Feb 15, 2010I am looking for a slide show widget that would be similar to the "3" music player. i can't find any slide show widget at all. is there one? is there a picture frame widget that can start a slide show with 1 touch? any slide show apps that are any good at all? i just can't seem to find one. the best i have found is the 2.1 eclair gallery app from droid-life.com. the only thing i've found that is remotely close is a link to the code to accomplish such a thing.

Jul 29, 2010Something where I can set a specific folder, and it will randomly change my wallpaper to those images at set intervals?
I figure something like that would be more battery efficient then live wallpaper that constantly changes, since it might only actually do something once every 15 minutes, half hour, or hour.
It would give me something that still appeases my desire for droid x flashy goodness as well.
Android :: Single MMS Picture Sending As A Slideshow
Jul 2, 2010Just to prove that I used the search, the only related thread I found was where they asked the same question, and I guess the OP started using handcent as a solution, but I don't want to do that. When I go to send a picture, or receieve a picture, it shows up as a slideshow. How can I stop doing this and it just be a picture like any other phone would do?

Jun 25, 2010Every damn picture I get, I have to make sure to look at it fast before 2 seconds end and the damn picture disappears, because for some reason, HTC decided slideshow view for all their damn picture messages was a good idea. Pressing the pause button doesn't work at all, as it just turns the screen black for whatever freakin reason.

Feb 9, 2013Got an Android phone (HTC Desire 2 years old) but now I have splashed out on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
Now on my home computer I have a shared folder with all our digital photos. what I want to do is access these photos on the Note and view them as a slideshow. A second computer (with Picasa) can access these pictures over the home network and run a slideshow. I want something similar on the Note - is this possible? I know i can access network drives with, for example, ES File Explorer, but how can I view the photos in a folder (and subfolders) as a slideshow?
General :: Jelly Bean / MMS - Receiving 1 Or Multiple Images As A Slideshow?
Jul 19, 2012Does the built in sms app fix the receiving 1 or multiple images as a slideshow? I know it isn't really a bug and is just how the app works, but I was wondering if there were any changes to the sms app in Jelly Bean for those who may not want that feature.
I am currently using Handcent but sometimes I still get images as a slideshow. I'm also having to click on the message to download it before I can view the slideshow.
HTC Droid Eris :: MMS Slideshow - Each Slide Is Separate Image Inside Attachment
Feb 11, 2010When I would get an MMS slideshow on my Blackberry, it would auto-play and I could view it no problem. When I get an MMS slideshow on the Eris it shows up as a text message with an attachment and each slide is a separate image inside that attachment and I have to click on the initial attachment then I see a list of all of the images and I have to click on each one individually to see it, then back out of that image and rinse and repeat. Is there anyway to get this to work right?

Jul 25, 2010I posted this question sort of embedded in the "show us your Droid X screen" but I think it got buried with all the "what is that widget?" questions.I see on some screens the picture widget picture is big. Mine is only about 1 inch by 1/2 inch.I can barely even get 1/2 a face in the picture.How do you get a bigger picture?I'm running LauncherPro, is that effecting it?Since I couldn't get a bigger picture, I decided to try and add the slide show widget. But when I try, it says Widget Conflict only one photo slideshow per home screen. I don't have any other slideshow widgets on my screen. Any ideas?
