For some reason, when I launch market where it used to show downloads in the third tab it now shows sprint ... any one else have this? I asked a few others but theirs still say downloads.

I'm running Froyo on an N-1.I have uninstalled some of the apps that I previously purchased, and I no longer want them to appear in the Downloads area of the Market app. However, they still show up there with the "Purchased" designation, and they contribute to the count of updated apps whenever Market checks for updates.I have followed the instructions here, but they do not work for me:Removing deleted apps from downloads listing.Any ideas as to how I can keep these non-longer-installed, previously purchased apps from showing up within my list of Downloads?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just had my hero/g2 back from tmobile uk after the earpiece broke they have fixed it and done a software upgrade.but i have lost everything and i mean everything.used my backup pro to back everything up and now says my trial has run out and when i try to buy the pro version it cant find it on the market.how do i get all my paid apps back??when i search for the paid apps they dont show up in the marketplace (i have tried my downloads and nothing is there)
View 14 Replies View RelatedSince flashing to a 2.* rom and back a few times i am now back on fresh 1.1 and I am trying to do a few updates and download new apps but everything hangs. It just says either authorizing credit card for paid or starting download for free apps. I have even let it go over night and it never finished.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI had an edited png for the market icon in the vending apk but when I applied my edited png's to Ivans rom with the market fix it seems to have changed the icon back to the original market Icon. When I first loaded the rom it showed my edited png for the market icon but after my first reboot it seems to change the icon back to the original. I assume that the market is updating upon reboot so I pulled the vending apk off my phone and my edited png's are still there but its still showing the original market icon. Anybody else with an edited market icon notice this or any ideas of why its going back to original? I have tried this a couple times and it always updates after first reboot...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm running an SGS2 with CM9 (always up to the latest nightly).
I noticed today then when trying to open the Play store, it takes me directly to the Apps section and doesn't let me choose between the normal Apps, Movies and Books sections that i could before (i'm in the UK so no music option ever existed).
If i go to Play Book or Play Movies and press the market button, same happens, it just takes me to the apps secions.
I've tried clearing data on all google play related apps and uninstalling the google play updates and rebooting etc but still, everytime it takes me directly to the apps section and doesn't let me access any other section...
Anyone else not seeing all their apps downloads in Market? I want to move all my apps to SD card (this was my most anticipated function of 2.2 besides speed)

This morning an email noticed me that the android market rules are changed and that I must accept it within 30 days. Now the prolblem is.I have always distribuited (only on android market due to the lack of dynamic licensing) a free trial, customers who want to buy the product must buy it on our official site.Now rules are changed, we cannot distribuite freel trial on the market and ask to the customers to buy the software on other place. What do you think about that? I don't want to give to the market a non secure version of my software, without dynamic licensing, no need to argue, I can't give the unprotected binary.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI wasn't even aware of a separate section for the Sprint Hero until it was pointed out in the HTC Hero section. The reason being that when I see HTC Hero, I would not in a million years even think of scrolling down to Sprint HTC Hero.
By renaming this section, you will actually make sure they're side by side with each other and eliminate the confusion.
My hero keeps drop calling so Orange r sending me a new handset tomorrow. When I log back on to my Google account, on the new h.s will my app still show in my downloads on the market?

All was going smoothly until recently when my Market downloads suddenly started hanging, both free and purchased ones. I have internet connection - no problem there. The only thing I can think of that has changed is that I recently converted from googlemail to gmail. Could that have any effect? Anyone have a suggestion as to how I might fix this short of a total reset of my phone to factory settings?

All the apps I choose to download just sit at "Starting Download" until I turn wifi off and on and reconnect to my network. Has anyone else experienced this?I've tried switching fake carriers a few times, which I seem to need to do anyway, cuz paid apps seem to disappear after a while.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy installed apps aren't showing up in the downloads section of the market. Yet if I search for them in the market it says they are installed and I am able to update them. I read that installing a new app somehow refreshes the list so I tried that but didn't help. Tried the market doctor in TiBu that didn't work either. So then clicked restore all apps and after that didn't work I went as far as to wipe my phone and reflash my rom and restored my apps again with TiBu, still nothing.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've got an HTC Desire & downloaded a few apps/widgets from the market today. They seem to have downloaded ok and I can see them sitting in the 'downloads' tab of the market...but how do I actually get them from here onto my device to use them?
(Things I've tried...clicking on them in 'downloads' just shows more info on them and clicking install just re-downloads them, longholding just brings up info about them, I can't find a 'downloads' folder on my mobile, they aren't appearing with the other widgets or programs, adding the market on my mobile just links me back to the market homepage...i cant see anything in the user manual or learn more sections that is of help on this - they both say to go to all programs and my downloads but I don't have a my downloads just downloads section in the market which doesn't seem to move them to my device?).
I have a brand-new HTC Desire in front of me, and cannot get a couple of functions to work properly (yet), as for instance the facebook and mail widgets. I figured out that it would be a good start to get the newest versions of all those applications and widgets that make trouble, but when I try downloading anything using Android Market, the downloads get stuck at "Starting download...", apparently indefinitely. I have seen that others had this problem too, but I could not find a solution yet.

Also whenever I do something like browse the Internet or run pandora and play a game my phone freezes and then shuts off. Is this all direct result of 2.2?

They are showing in the 'currently downloading' frame but don't appear to be doing anything. I am using wifi to download the apps and I have never had an issue before. Could anyone help?

My Market never changed over to Google Play. Also, some of my apps will 'start download' then never download the update. Other apps update just fine.
Don't know what happened but the my downloads section looks like it does after a factory reset, with all the free downloads not listed, the difference though is that if I search for them in the market, they all still show as installed. anyone have any ideas?
