My Market never changed over to Google Play. Also, some of my apps will 'start download' then never download the update. Other apps update just fine.

To make a long story short: I don't like the market to know what my phone runs. So is there any software I could download there free app "My Callya" with? Have looked everywhere on the interwebs, but can't find it. I'd be more than happy about a download link to it though.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have just got LG P500 early this year, my friend supported me root this phone with CyanogenMod (7.1.0-RC1-Thunderg-KANG) and the Build number was SonyGenMod v1.2 Final. I really want to go back to normal settings or the best settings as I don't really know how to root/unroot or update stuff.
I just want to use the updated version of Android Market. Right now, it is very annoying that I can't go online on WIFI because I can't update apps or go in Google Play. As it comes up with some errors.
I have a problem after installing nexus Rom on my qmobile a10. Now my fone is no installing apps from google play and so i could not restore my stock ROM. Also this new Rom is supporint only one sim.

l uninstalled Google Search and Google Play store apps, but they were not completely uninstalled and now I can't reinstall them because the store says they are installed. I cannot find them on my android tablet and so I cannot use them. What is a good app to completely uninstall them. Some of these apps will not install on my Lenovo tablet.

All my google applications like Gmail, Maps, Play,Google Plus are working fine in WIFI.But when i try to refresh or update these application thro Airtel 3g,i am getting No Connection Error.
All my 3rd party apps like Facebook,Whatsapp are working fine in 3G.
I would like to install just Google Play (Market) without the other GApps. I tried a couple of APKs that I found floating around the forums, but none seem to work.
Are there some additional dependencies (like the Google account, for example) which I need to install in order to use Play? I am trying to avoid any Google synch and also don't need GMail, Talk, etc. Installing them just to remove them with Titanium or something seems counter-intuative.
I've recently won a Dell Streak 5, but it appears to have been shipped without the Market or Play apps - when trying to download through the Google Play site, it tells me to open the shopping bag icon on my device - unfortunately, their isn't one!
I had a Dell Streak previously (until some git stole it on a train - I will find you Mr Thief, if you're reading) so i know market is available on the device - my g-mail account even contains all the old apps i have paid for when i was last using the same device
i'm aware i can probably install non-market apps using apk files, but due to laziness i really want to avoid this.
so my google play market has updated again and with this new verison 3.5.15 all the apps that i've have had broken the market link to have been relinked to the market and when i try and break the market link again it says that it can't connect to the market DB. which i believe is to the new update of the market to version 3.5.15.
i was using mybackup pro with mytoolbox to break the market link,,, it is the newest version of the apps.
yesterday I reflashed a tablet with a clean install of cm7, factory reset clear cache etc. Latest Gapps.
I set up the main account with a gmail account I made for my kids because the device is mainly used by them. I added my own google account so it can be used with the play store to redownload all the apps I have purchased for them. I have set the play store to use my google account.
But all the apps I have previously paid for have their price listed beside them in the store, rather than saying "purchased". If I try to buy them again it gives me message saying there was an error with the transaction.I have set up a device with 2 accounts like this before and it worked ok.
My facebook has stopped working - the apps won't update with new information, and trying to access the main site through the browser brings up the 'bad ip - your ip address is linked to abusive behaviour blah blah ' facebook form. I've filled this in and am waiting to hear back, but was wondering if this could be due to the settings on my phone? it was working fine for the last month, so no idea what could have changed...
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen the first version come out i installed the apk (3.4.6) then it silently update to 3.4.7.But now it stopped at 3.4.7 while my old Galaxy S update itself to 3.5.16.Is there a way to force update without installing the apk? I try to clear cache but it doesn't update after acceting terms and condition.

But I'd rather it happens overnight when my phone is plugged in, rather than when I'm at work for the day and will be needing every last bit of battery juice. I know that there is a setting for update over wifi only. Any way to extend this to only when on wifi and plugged it? Could this be achieved with tasker? Is there a way on charging event to change the toggle whether or not automatic updates happen?

For example real racing 3, dead trigger 2, or angry birds star wars... Both devices running custom rom and kernel. If I find some of the apps like this by a browser and click to open in it via gplay, it shows me that my device isnt compatible...

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using a Samsung Tab 2 10.1 P5113 and I updated my Google Play Music app to the update released on May 15th (the one with the "All Access" feature and ever since then it keeps crashing. It is completely unusable. I have tried everything I could think of. I was on CM 10.1 nightlies, then i went back completely to stock, I've unrooted, wiped, uninstalled, re installed, and every other idea I could think of. (Note that I have root and am running on stock Touchwiz so I can post a logcat if you need me to, also all of the other Play Music versions worked just fine for me.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Nexus S 4G, with an ICS ROM, and ever since updating to Google Play, I can't buy apps. I tried to buy World of Goo, and it says "Error occured. Please try again later". I tried 30 minutes after, and same thing happened.
So, I decided to try to download from play.google.com and got this error: "com.google.checkout.generic.FORBIDDEN", and it wouldn't let me buy it.
I just tried again to download if from the site, and I didn't get the error, and it worked. However, I still can't download from my phone .
i bought my Nexus 7 32gb!
But now i found that there are apps missing that i was able to download on my "inferior" NOVO 7 Elf II, such as "Dodonpachi Resurrection" and "Espgaluda 2". The Nexus 7 is very capable of running those 2 games.
How can i make it so those missing apps appear on Google Play on my Nexus 7?
When I try to install any app from Google play store it all goes well until I press the 'accept and download' button and the app just goes back to main screen and the app is not installed. I am using Samsung Galaxy S3. I cleared the data of google play yesterday because I was getting these annoying messages which slowed my phone down (they were popping up every 2 seconds or so)

When I log onto google play, and navigate to my previous apps, it says they are still installed, and won't let me reinstall them. Is there any way round this?
View 7 Replies View RelatedBut just recently i noticed my phone acting weird. Seems when i open google play store and do a search, Most recently i did "Weather Widgets"
It will return with like 6000 app results. Normally when you click the apps bar it takes you to the app results, When you scroll down and you reach the end of the list it will auto load the next group of apps.
Well now when that happens it no longer loads anymore results and it stays stuck on the first 10~15.BUT this is the weird part.. IT ONLY DOES IT FOR APPS and GAMES.Music and Books the list loads as usual.
So far i have wiped the cache / data and just tried uninstalling the recent update and took it back to version 3.7.15 but google play auto updates itself back to 3.8

I was wondering if it was possible to update an app that was not installed from the market through the market.I've downloaded free apps from the market, unzipped them and swapped out some image files, signed and reinstalled, but these apps no longer show up in the play store--when I try, it says that the app was not signed correctly.
